This terraced cottage is located on a side road in the centre of the village of Bradwell and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Brook Cottage is a terraced cottage, located on a side road in the centre of the village of Bradwell. The cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside is a raised garden accessed by 7 stone steps with lawn, patio and furniture. With the amenities of Bradwell on the doorstep, and excellent scenic walking to enjoy in the area, Brook Cottage... makes a great Peak District holiday base.

Roadside parking approx. 50 yards from cottage on a first come, first served basis. Secure outbuilding for bikes. Enclosed, raised garden accessed by 7 stone steps with lawn, patio, furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk. Note: Garden is accessed by 7 stone steps. Note: The property is accessed directly from the road with a small amount of village traffic passing by.

Town: The Peak District village of Bradwell is in the Hope Valley, in the Peak District National Park, home to shops, pubs and eateries. Castleton is 3 miles away and is overlooked by the crumbling Mam Tor or "Shivering Mountain". The Edale Valley - the start of the Pennine Way - is also nearby. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This little cottage is tucked away in old village. Its small and basic but has all the comforts of a home allowing you to relax at the end of a good days walking or sightseeing. It appears that the cottage has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard. The kitchen is small but comes with oven, microwave, fridge etc and all the usual supporting utensils. Two tastefully decorated double bedrooms and a bath with good shower. The cottage itself is ideally located within village of Bradwell which has 4 pubs, a bakers and small Co-op store together with a post office and an ice cream factory and shop (the shop is two doors away from cottage). From the cottage are a number of very good walks across the hills or the Hope Valley is only a few minutes drive away. The enclosed garden at the rear is well maintained and a sun trap in the good weather and ideal for a dog.

  Lovely well equipped cottage

  We found our cottage to be very recently renovated, and had been provided with everything that we needed. The location is central in the village with pub, small supermarket, post office/newsagent all very close by. Good base for exploring the Peak district. Fantastic scenery around the area and great walking country. If you need them there are local bus services (some pass right outside the door, so look before stepping out!). Also Hope railway station is about 3 miles (we caught a train into Manchester on a wet day). All in all highly recommended, we would certainly stay at this cottage again.
