We stayed in Riley's Retreat cabin, 3 BR, 2Ba. The cabin is very nice and clean. Stocked with everything that we needed. Easy to make reservations online - not necessary to go by office. Checkout is at 11:00. Price was a little steep ($300 per night). Wireless internet is not provided for this cabin. Resort area has a nice pool area, volleyball, horseshoes, playground area and walking areas which are all located near cabin. Resort and cabin seemed to be well maintained. We were pleased with our stay and would certainly stay again. You will have a 10-15 minute drive to the strip in Branson. Sunday Brunch at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks is awesome (take Hollister Exit).

Wow! The location and cabin was fabulous! Kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was a bonus! A beautiful view off the back deck and plenty of privacy from the neighbors. Although there were only two of us, there is plenty of room for a family.
If Trophy Buck is available for the time period you are interested in, book it!

The Simpson Cabin was wonderful!! We had 2 families in the cabin; 4 adults and 6 kids and it could not have been a better set up. The adults were upstairs and the kids were downstairs which was perfect. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was great. We could even see the fireworks at Big Cedar through the trees at midnight. We hope to return next year. Thank you!!!

Thank you sooo much for offering such an amazing cabin to visit in Branson. This was our 3rd trip to Branson with 5 children. There was plenty of room. We especially loved the beautiful decorations in the cabin, hot tub, and location. We will definitely be back for another visit and will absoultely book this cabin again.

We had a very nice time at the cabin. Branson is beautiful and I'm sure even more beautiful in the summer. We really appreciated the Christian atmosphere that was so evident in so many places we visited. Christmas helps to inspire it. We look forward to visiting again and would definitely stay at Trophy Buck again as it accommodated ourselves and our eight children perfectly. Lots of fun in the hot tub. Wished it was a little closer to the strip but would have lost the back woods ambiance.

This is a very spacious rental and ideal for several families. The view is great off of the back deck and there are nearby paths (golf trail) to walk.
A gas or wood fireplace would be one thing that would have made it better.
The bedrooms were comfy and quite large. There are also additional cots available for extra members of the family. -

Left on 12/31/2011 for a stay in December 2011
We enjoyed the stay in Branson. The cabin was in a good location, especially with the proximity to Big Cedar Lodge. I liked the simplicity of the zip code door lock. The beds were great, the layout of the cabin was good, and it generally met our expectations. The scenery nearby was terrific. The price was very reasonable.
We weren't coming for the Branson "experience" (ie, the strip) and found that part of Branson very cheesy and massively over-marketed. We came for the scenery and other activities in the area. We enjoyed that, but having to fight through the traffic and terrible service at restaurants on Main Street took some of the luster off the stay. Not much you can do about that, other than perhaps direct people away from the cheesy parts.
My suggestions:
1. The coffee maker is very, very slow and the plate doesn't heat well. Also, it would be nice to have some mugs. Drinking hot coffee from a little teacup isn't that great.
2. We cooked a couple of meals. It would be nice if your website indicated what types of cookware and utensils you have.
3. We used the gas grill. That's a nice touch. It worked but didn't seem to get really hot especially on the left and right burners. There might be some corrosion blocking the gas flow.
4. You need some new sponges and more dishwasher soap.
5. There was some firewood when we got there, but you may not provide that normally. If you do, there should be more on hand. If not, make it more clear on the website.

Little Rock, ArkansasGreat cabin near Big Cedar!
Left on 12/30/2011 for a stay in December 2011
We really enjoyed our stay at the Moose Preserve cabin. The furnishings were very nice and just what you expect in a nice cabin. I looked online at many cabins before finding this one, and this had, by the far, the best looking furnishing and amenities. The fireplace and hot tub were ideal! Not sure if something was out of order or what, but both Jacuzzi tubs weren't working during our stay. But the kids (and Mommy) still enjoyed the giant tub!
Just a few things that I think need attention:
1. The beds are in desperate need of new pillows. The current ones are super thin, and just barely hanging on.
2. The bedroom to the right (facing the fireplace) may be in need of a new mattress. It was pretty uncomfortable. But the couple staying in the other bedroom said their mattress seemed great!
3. I think it's time for a major dusting/cleaning in this cabin. We could see the dust swirling all around us, and our allergies really kicked in from it. I think probably the comforters and sofa pillows just need a good cleaning to keep the dust at a minimum.
Thank you for a great stay! I just wanted to point out some of these things because they are pretty minor compared to the whole package but would definitely make the stay perfect. We loved being close to Big Cedar and dining at Devil's Pool Restaurant. And the drive to Silver Dollar City to see the holiday lights is pretty short and traffic-free!Response from Branson Log Cabin Owner Manager of 8 plus years - 01/03/2012

Thank you for the compliment and comments. I have just asked Nancy to get new pillows for this cabin. I have not slept in it recently so was unaware. I am also having the mattress and tubs checked out as well. We did do a deep cleaning recently and am checking to see when it was. With being in the woods dust from the recent fall as well as from the recent winds do bring in dust. I have asked Nancy to check this out.
thank you again for your suggestions/comments.

Kansas City, MOIt's an amazing Branson Cabin
Left on 12/28/2011 for a stay in December 2011
The cabin was located in a beautiful wooded area. Nearby was a great looking golf course, well hidden by the trees. The cabin has been well cared for, and probably appears as it did on the first day it opened for business, absolutely no wear-n-tear, very clean. The walls were filled with native american artifacts that make for great indoor viewing. The bedrooms are very spacious and neat. The kitchen is equipped for those big family meals. Our family was able to take a dip in the outdoor hot tub in spite of the chilly nights. Don't forget your Dvd's, every room has a TV equipped with a player. If you are considering renting this cabin, The Simpson's, do it. It's exactly what you want. We had a Blessed Christmas celebration, in honor of the birth of Christ, in style, with our family. "Happy Times". God Bless.

harrisonGood overall with few minor drawbacks.
Left on 12/13/2011 for a stay in December 2011
The cabin was clean, well laid out, and classy. It had good lighting and a wood burning fireplace. They do however "limit" the amount of wood they give you to burn in the fireplace. Once you are past this meager limit, they will charge you for additional firewood. We also had some issues with hot water at nighttime. We were not able to fully fill the Jacuzzi with hot water.
With these minor drawbacks aside, it was a great experience. We would definitely consider staying here again. -

We enjoyed everything from how easy it was to book to how nice everything was. The only reason I didn't rate it as excellent is because there was not enough cookware. With a cabin large enough for 10 people, it should have enough cookware to actuall cook for that many people. Other than that it was great!!

A Christmas tree greeted us upon arrival giving us a feeling of "home".
For 4 nights, we felt as if the lodge belonged to us. The decor was just as if Ralph Lauren had designed it (made me want to wear a flannel shirt). The kitchen was very well stocked with all the necessities. Actually, better than my own. It was so easy to get where we needed to be because of the location. Very tucked away, but with just a couple of turns we were on the major highway. Couldn't have asked for any more than we received! Thank you Budd family! Me and 11 other girls stayed in the cabin for the weekend. We had a great time and loved it. The cabin is beatiful! The younger girls loved the hot tub and enjoyed the Wifi for their computers and phones. We had plenty of clean towels and soap. I think the cabin needs more than one hot water heater and more cookIng utensils. Most of us had to take cold showers. We made breakfast one morning and didn't have enough large mixing bowels. Other than that we had a wonderful visit.
We are planning to stay again in the future.

Missouriquaint cabin in the woods & very relaxing
Left on 11/26/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We got to the cabin in the woods right at dark and didn't have any problems finding the correct cabin. Upon entering we were all in awe at the cleanliness and how it was all arranged. It was rainy, so we did bring in some wood logs to dry out, but they never did (so that would be one complaint we had - wanting to build a fire and couldn't). And because of the rain, we didn't get into the hot tub until night #3. We had a few things happen (smoke alarm kept beeping & needed a battery --- and we couldn't use the shower in the bathtub because some handle was broken) but as soon as we reported the incidents, someone came and fixed them. Ha Ha... we also didn't have but 2 rolls of toilet paper and could never find anymore !!! All in all, had a great time and will definitely go back.

Called the place to make sure we would have wood for the fire place. Was assured we would. When we got there, there was about 4 pieces of wood. Called Valerie and she said there was a place not far where we could go pick up some wood. My husband has terminal cancer...why should we go pick up our own wood. Was informed we would get enough wood, 5-8 pieces for 1 fire a night. For $300.00 a night I should be able to have as many fires as I want. This was probably our last vacation together and I was extremely disappointed with the place. We also kept tripping over the rugs. The corners did not stay down, living room was cluttered.

We arrived at night to the cutest carved bears greeting us at the top of the drive. Gorgeous, well maintained log cabin, with lots of little extras. There was a washer/dryer combo, iron and board, fully prepped kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy furniture to curl up on and watch the fire or TV...everywhere we went, whatever we needed was right there. The lighting was beautiful and dimmable, which added to the ambiance. The fireplace makes your cares melt away, and the hot tub at night while looking up at the stars ain't too bad either! :) Very clean, well appointed, and decorated like my own dream retirement home. Very welcoming, and you feel like you could just settle in and stay. We were amazed at how quiet it was, even with most of the cabins occupied, and being so close to Branson was very convenient. It was also very nice to not have to deal with the whole check-in/check-out process... we walked in like we owned the place with the door key code, and checked out with one quick text. (we came here to get away from people, people! :) )

We absolutely loved our two night stay at the Bearfoot Lodge at amazing Branson Log Cabins. Easy to find, close to the wedding we attended at Integrity Hills. Lovely accommodations, the bear decor was adored by my children and parents alike! The large stuffed Brownie bear was a hit. Very clean, organized and top notch amenities added to the most cozy place we have ever stayed! Thank you and we will recommend and be back.

We loved your cabin. Me and my 2 kids came down to get away for labor day weekend, because we had just lost my husband from cancer and we had a bad august. I found your cabins online and they were great. Thank you so much.

loved the cabin and the location. enjoyed sitting on the deck and walking the street and golf cart trails in the mornings.just 10 minutes from Branson; loved the peacefulness; wished it had been cold enough for a fire; cooked big breakfast each morning at the cabin using wonderful ham and bacon we bought at Courseys in Gilbert aR; enjoyed the beautiful trees and the leaves, which were at their peak. disappointed that we did not have enough hot water to use jacuzzi tubs; ran out of wash cloths(only 2 in each bath) and toilet paper, but would return in a heartbeat. best place we have stayed; best cabin we have stayed in out of others in MO, AR, TX, la, and OK; cooked taco soup one night after busy day in Branson and played games in cabin that night--very very enjoyable stay--but we did get in a visit to Lamberts in Ozark as well as Springfield(Bass Pro of course), Amish settlements and out of the way antiques east of Springfield, Branson(love the Oaks and the Baldknobbers), and Dogwood Nature Park.

Our family stayed in one of the three bedroom cabins for a week and loved it. Beautifully decorated in cabin theme, comfortable beds and the kitchen/bbq allowed for wonderful home cooked meals. Enjoyed Silver Dollar City, the Branson Landing and playing "tourist." Loved every moment. Even our teenagers enjoyed it.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and very cozy. The king size beds were very comfortable and kids loved the jucuzzi tub. The hot tub was cold the first night and took a day to warm up, but had found out the water was just changed before arriving. Had all the kitchen and bathroom supplies needed and more. Also enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. Flatscreens were nice in all the rooms. Awsome stay, cant wait to come back.

The setting of the cabin was serene and beautiful. It was quiet and spacious. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub. The kids were able to have their own space and lots of room to run around outside and we didn't have to worry about safety and traffic. We will definitely be back.

We had an enjoyable time once before here in the summer and wanted to experience the area in November during Veterans Week and see the Christmas shows in Branson.
The tree fall colors were a sight to behold. As we approached the Log Cabin by turning off the main road and drove through the covered bridge, it seemed that we left all of our problems behind and viewed a beautiful cabin in a wooded area which we would call home for the next few days.
Inside, we found everything pleasing, the premises were clean and the decorations and furnishing in every room were more than you would expect in a Log Cabin and done in a professional manner.
The cabin had all of the comforts of home, from comfortable, well- appointed beds in each bedroom, a complete kitchen with counter seating and a beautiful large table for enjoying your meals together or seated by the wood burning fireplace watching a flat screen TV. if you wish. For those who can not live without the internet, connections are there for their computers. Although we used the heated spa located on the outside balcony in the summer, we did not have our bathing suits with us, but noticed other Cabin neighbors were enjoying theirs.
It was a short ride to Dogwood Canyon, local restaurants, Silver Dollar City and to the Theaters in Branson, which was jammed with thousands of Veteran visitors who seemed to enjoy themselves because of the Veterans Week Holiday events.
Each day,it was nice to get back to the Cabin and relax in the quite wooded surrounding, listening to the birds and watching the squirrels on our deck.
We left with many good memories and would recommend this experience to all who desire a vacation in the Ozarks while having superb comforts of home in a Log Cabin.

Oh what a 5 star log cabin, decorated perfectly and large enough for us and our two boys. The cabin had Tv's in both bedrooms and living room and box games to play by the fireplace in the evening. Great family time. The weather was good so the boys ventured around the cabin gathering acorns and pinecones. A version of baseball practice with pinecones and a stick kept them entertained for a few days.
Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings at the cabin and went to Silver Dollar City to see the beautiful Christmas decorations and ride the roller coasters.
Good vacation with the family, looking forward to coming back in the summer time.
