Nestled in the woods, this two-bedroom cabin has great Table Rock Lake views, a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV that can all be enjoyed from the living room of your vacation getaway. All three decks make great places to relax.
Decorative features include wood paneling, Native American art, and landscape paintings. Lots of windows in the living room let in lots of light. Enjoy the brightness as you sip on your morning coffee and watch the news. Once one of the three bathrooms opens up, take a nice hot shower. Get dressed for a day of hiking, and then leave for your excursion.

The house was a good rental and the property and view were nice. We did not like the facilities at Indian Point at all for boating--way to hectic and insufficient facilities for the population.
The only thing I didn't like about the actual rental property was the lack of stock in the kitchen for cooking...it was a good thing I brought things like grill tools just in case. -

A great weekend in the woods. The place is a little small but had everything we needed The large outdoor living space made up for the small size. Nice view of the lake and close to swimming, fishing, and Silver dollar city. This place was really in the woods which was perfect for us.

This was a perfect place for our weekend. We took some extra teenagers for a birthday in Branson for our daughter. The room with an outside entrance was great for separating the boys and girls. We had room to spread out and had enough bathrooms so that we didn't have to share. The deck was great for meals. The kids used the fire pit for smores and sitting out under the stars was fantastic. Everything was clean-no bugs,cobwebs,or anything you would expect in a wooded area. It was clean from top to bottom! Beautiful surroundings and privacy with a very short drive to anything you would want to do.

We travel a lot and once a year we try to stay in a cabin like this one. This was one of the better cabins we've stayed in. It's very quite and peaceful. The view out the back glass doors is spectacular. We'd definitely stay here again.

Smaller than expected. One bedroom was seperate with a seperate entrance, which
was also unexpected. The fireplace was so large it took up a lot of space in the main
room. Bedrooms could use some updating. Had trouble with getting the fireplace lit.
Never could get connected to Internet even though there was a router and was told
cabin would have Internet. Somewhat disappointed in the facilities for the price we
paid. -

This home was perfect for our family. We were only able to stay for the weekend, but wished it had been much longer! The kids loved having the fireplace and the fire pit outside to roast marshmallows. The setting is beautiful and everything was supplied that we needed. Thank-you for a wonderful place to stay during our vacation, we will definitely be staying again when we come back!

This home is very nice and the view was great!! If you enjoy the nature this is the place. We sat on the deck until bedtime, no bugs!! The beds were very comfortable, unlike the hard beds in a hotel. This place makes you really wish your own home was just as nice!! We will be back!!

First of all, I have to say that the cabin was very nice. It was clean and the view was spectacular. We had some problems with the directions but found it. The only problems we had were: 1. the storm door going into the house almost came down requiring members of our party to do some hasty carpentry work. 2. There was no soap for the dishwasher and 3. Although I really enjoyed getting the discount coupon for Tanger mall, it would have been even better if it hadn't expired on Monday before we got there on Friday.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely use your business again. We would probably even stay in the same cabin. We liked having one bedroom downstairs as it made it easier for us early risers to have our coffee without disturbing the rest of the group. -

Completely secluded with a beautiful view of the lake but just minutes from Branson. Great outdoor amenities. Saw deer, chipmunks and an armadillo! Plenty of cookware, dishes, linens, detergeant with modern appliances. Clean. Unlike a previous review, there were NO bedbugs! Only 2 downsides: 3rd bedroom entrance only accessible via steep outdoor stairs and thin walls/floor so every noise, step, and tv/conversation/alarm can be heard throughout house. Although 3rd bedroom accessible only from outside, it was like a little apartment (without kitchen amenities) and serves well for added privacy/seclusion. Living room isn't as spacious as pictured and the round fireplace is in the center of it and takes up lots of room. Hard to see who you are talking to when spread out around living room. Kitchen table will only seat 4 and stuck in a corner. If pulled out and tv stand moved, might accommodate 2 people on the ends but the fireplace gets in the way.
All in all, not a bad place for the money. Would probably stay there again.Response from Sunset Realty Services - 10/28/2009

This couldve been an enjoyable stay, but when we got there we had to wash the bedding because it was dirty (hair on it). there was dried food in the hide-a-bed when we unrolled it. ALso, there were SEVERAL centipedes in the downstairs bedroom, which made my parents decide to end their vacation a day early and go back home. Our family is separated and dont get to see each other very often so it was highly disappointing. Thank you!

My family and I came to "our place in the woods" for a special occasion, our daughter was getting married we could not have chose a better place to stay it was like home. We enjoyed our stay and the scenery was beautiful, especially the deer...the only thing that was alittle disappointing would have been the chigger's we all got... but then again the name says it all... I would return to "our place in the woods" because of the peace and quiet and we enjoyed it so very much.... Thank you so much Jenny Corbin for making our daughter's wedding such a joy.....

The location of the house and the view was magnificent. We were within minutes of a marina as well as the Branson Strip but the location afforded a sense of seclusion and privacy. The house was very comfortable and clean. We had a couple of days of cooler weather (cooler to a Texan used to temps in the 100's)and were able to enjoy the fireplace.
The only negative we experienced was during a exploration of the trails around the house. As we explored the woods we came upon a black top road and continued our trek. We spent about 10-15 minutes admiring the view of the water and some of the magnificent homes before returning to the trail. As we were heading back up the trail we were confronted by a very rude and angry man. He was very condescending and stated how dare we come down there. He stated in no uncertain terms that we could not come down there as it was a "gated community". It was not so much in that we could not go down that way but the way he expressed himself. (no signage regarding gated community/ no acess) It was quite an upsetting experience for me and my children as we have never faced that type of rudeness before.
We persevered and did enjoy the week we spent there and would definitely return to the house.

Overall, we had a great experience. There were 6 adults and 2 kids, and we felt we had plenty of room! Loved that we had a full kitchen and a washer & dryer (a must with 2 small kids!).
The view was spectacular! Right when we arrived, there were two deer lying by the bench in the back. We had a great time sitting on the deck and overlooking the lake.
We only have one slight complaint and that is that the dead bugs kept accumualting in the downstairs room!

Overall was a good place. However, was deceiving about the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upsatirs and 1 bedroom and 1 bath downstairs. Can not access the downstairs without going outside and down the outside stairs. Therefore, our kids did not want to use it so they slept on the couch. Also, had some bug issues, but you are in the woods.

Our experience at Our Place in the Woods was terrific. The house was rustic with all the modern amenities. The views were absolutely fabulous and the screened in porch was so relaxing. The fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows and the pond with a fountain added that peaceful and serene touch. We will definitely be going back and we can hardly wait!!!!

We got this home, on a special and got it for a great price. It was smaller than we thought. The outside amenities were great. The worst thing was we all got ate up by bed bugs. That was a deal breaker. We will not be back.

You bring up a good point for future guests. Bring bug spray! This house is in the woods and unfortunately, bugs go hand-in-hand with being in the woods. If you go hiking or go off the designated trail, you run the chance of getting into a batch of chiggers. Chiggers are extremely tiny bugs that get under the skin and tend to be very itchy. If you do take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, be sure to dust off and take a shower immediately to get rid of any little critters that might try to go home with you.

We absolutely loved everything about this house. It was private with an awesome view of Table Rock Lake. Plenty of room. We felt very comfortable and at home. The front screen porch was great when it rained. We played cards, ate, and had coffee in the morning from both the back deck and front porch. We really hated to leave! We would definitely stay at Our Place in the Woods again.
