The Brookside Getaway's view of the pool and brook allows you to enjoy listening to the babbling brook while you relax and unwind. Or relax at one of the pools, in a hot tub or inside on a recliner. Rest well at night on either of the king sized beds before another day of fun. Nestled in SW Branson on a low traffic street with parking in front; it is conveniently located only 2.7 miles south of the strip off Hwy 165.

    We are located in SW Branson off Hwy 165. Only 2.7 mi S of the strip. We have easy access to the attractions in Branson. Branson is very spread out with hilly and winding roads which can become congested. We provide driving directions, not only to our condo but to vacation necessities (grocery store, ATM, pharmacy, etc), restaurants & attractions using alternate routes to make your driving around Branson easier.

      Thank you so much for the use of your condo.
      All the comforts of home, we needed nothing. Sandy gave so much helpful information to plan our trip.
      The location is great. Just far enough from the hustle, bustle of the strip, but a short drive to anything you want to see and do. Enjoyed the screened porch , sat out there to unwind and plan the next day's adventures, so peaceful. I would recommend Gene and Sandy's place to anyone.
      The price was great. We could not have stayed at a hotel and have gotten the privacy and comfort we treasure and enjoy.
      Will certainly be at the top of the list of places to consider on our next trip to Branson

      Stayed the week of 16-23 March 2013 for spring break with my daughter, the condo was very comfortable and clean. We both like different softness in beds so each loved the one we chose. Was very convenient to most places, especially using the short cuts. Mo76 was very slow moving when we did have to use it. We had unexpected snow, which gave us a little appreciated down time. It was nice to have a starter supply of napkins, salt/pepper, etc., and not have to run out immediately and get it. We were able to save considerable money by eating in the condo for some meals, and it was more relaxing not having to rush. Definitely better than a hotel room.

      Sandy was wonderful to work with and gave us so much information and helpful hints. The location was very close to everything but far enough to stay away from traffic and easy access to colored routes to avoid busy "76". Condo was very comfortable and would fit anyone's needs I am sure. Lots of extra's. Will not hesitate to recommend to anyone else and we will use her again in the future.       Wonderful stay. Could not of asked for a better place. Just the right distance from all the traffic on the strip but still close enough. My elderly in-laws really appreciated it being all one level. With 6 of us in our party, we had more than enough room to spread out and find a place to ourselves when needed. My in-laws have already asked when we can go back. Thank you for a great, clean, comfortable "home".

      Pictures on the website did not do the condo justice! It's an awesome condo --- so clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfy! Especially enjoyed the screened porch in the early morning and after returning at night from the shows. Unfortunately we kept a busy agenda to enjoy it during the day time hours. Location is perfect. Away from the strip and nice and quiet but yet it only took 10 minutes to get to most of the theaters. I will be sure to recommend your place to friends.

      The condo is conveniently located for everything we wanted to do, yet away from the busy-ness of the strip. Sandy's information-filled pre-trip emails and the notebook at the condo made it clear how much she cares about guests' having a great experience. She pays a great deal of attention to detail-- including traffic-avoiding driving directions; information on shows, restaurants, activities, and attractions; where to find anything and everything we might need. The condo itself was roomy, bright, comfortable and well outfitted. We especially liked the screened porch for morning coffee and a view of the beautiful grounds. It was also nice that the condo is a walk-in so we were able to move our things in and out without climbing stairs. We will definitely book with Gene and Sandy whenever we return to Branson.

      We rented both condos at Meadow Brook Resort. These were by far the most welcoming, well-stocked condos we have rented. The care and thought that Gene and Sandy put into their rentals is obvious and we will definitely rent from them again. There were 9 of us, and all agreed it was fantastic!

      We rented this condo and the one next door (also owned by the Kalvelages) for a "mini" family reunion. What a wonderful place! The condos were spotless, well stocked with everything needed, and located in a quiet spot away from Highway 76. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms and the living room. The condos also have screened-in porches with ceiling fans. The complex where the condos are located is very well maintained and has several pools. We spent many hours just relaxing with our family members and reminiscing about "old times." Thanks, Sandy and Gene, for providing us with a great place for a wonderful reunion!

      Fantastic Place to Call Home On Our Vacation!

      The condo was very clean and well kept. None of the furniture was worn or stained. It was close enouph to all the attractions but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The screened lanai was fantastic. I sat out there to relax as often as I could even though it was so hot outside. We would stay there again if we have the opportunity to come back to Branson.

      We have never rented a condo before and now I believe for destination trips we will never rent a hotel room again. Gene and Sandy have you so prepared with information before you leave home its like walking into your own home. It was so peaceful and quiet the week we were there at the end of april. It was handy to get to the things we had planned to do. The screened in deck and the sounds of the Brook made it so relaxing in the evening when we were done with a busy day.       We have been to Branson many times, but this was our first stay in a Condo. We were so impressed with the experience, I don't think that we will ever stay in a Hotel again! We paid almost exactly what we would have for a Hotel, and essentially had a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. The kids loved the pool right outside the screened in porch. We loved the comfortable setting. It is only about 5-10 minutes away from the 76 strip of Branson, so handy to everything. All of Sandy's tips are very helpful. You will see us again!

      This is what our kids said when they walked in the door! From our 1st inquiry, to arrival, we couldn't say enough good about this condo. It was roomy, homey, clean as could be, and in a quiet resort off the beaten path, but close enough to so many restaraunts and activities. The neighbors(other owners) were very friendly, and Sandy's tips were so very helpful. We had a fun filled week, and can't wait to return~ Of course our favorite place was the screened in porch. It was a piece of heaven on earth for sure!

      We visited Medow Brook Resort in May 2012 with my 2 year old and my mother-in-law and father in-law. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The condo
      was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. It was wonderful to have a
      place to eat a meal or a snack for our 2 year old. Much more comfortable than
      staying in 2 hotel rooms. We loved the screened in back porch. The weather was
      perfect. Sandy even had a few toys to entertain the little one. Sandy's guides
      and advice e-mails and phone calls were very useful. There wasn't anything I
      wasn't prepared for when it came to booking our activities and I pulled out
      Sandy's emails for directions several times. Her directions were very easy to
      follow. As a side note, if you need to put a child in a pack and play to sleep
      the master closet is large enough to easily fit a pack and play. It has accordian
      doors that still have a small space between them when closed. Don't judge - our
      child loved sleeping in the closet and asked us to come back and close the doors
      when we left them open. It also gave us the bonus of a little extra privacy
      since we were sharing a room with her. We were very happy with our stay and
      will likely book again the next time we decided to visit Branson.

      We got back from Branson and staying at this great condo on Saturday, May 26. This is the best condo we have ever stayed in!! Sandy thought of everything. We will definitely be back! Very clean, homey, beautifully decorated, it was the best!!! Well stocked, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, we wanted for nothing!! We all had a wonderful time!! Saw Yakov (Live and Dinner Show), the Texas Tenors, Tony Roi shows, they were all great!! None of us wanted to leave!!

      There are many choices. We chose this one because the owner was very responsive, the price was right, and cleaning was not extra. The recliners are super comfortable and the condo is immaculate. It was main floor, which we needed for physical limitations of one of our members. There are many little touches such as movies and high speed Internet. The bedding, towels, and mattresses are first rate. We wanted to be a few miles away where it would be quieter from the strip.

      We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed many walks around the place. The condo itself is very easy access and is in a great location. The furniture and decorating is very nicely done, very clean and relaxing. It felt larger inside than the pictures tell. The outdoor room was a great place to spend time by the brook, so relaxing!! The owners were great, taking care of our every question and every need was met. They made this vacation so easy!! I recommend this to anyone. In our situation, we brought our elderly mom on a vacation and she found it very easy to get around with just a few steps in front. She was able to have her own room and attached bathroom, while my husband, daughter and I had ample room to find our own "space." The Internet connection was great and we appreciated the owners' attention to detail to make the place so very user friendly. We felt very relaxed and at home. Everything was great and we have many fond memories. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Branson after this perfect experience!

      Once we first contactd Gene and Sandy, the rest was easy! They have a streamlined process of clear communication and expectations, great photos that are exactly what you get,easy arrival and departure, and convenient payment options as well. Our family of six (mom and dad and four kids 14-22) fit easily and comfortably in this home. Since it was the Christmas season, we brought our premade cookie dough and baked cookies, had hot chocolate, and watched a holiday movie. It was convenient to get to the condo and was within easy traveling distance to College of the Ozarks and Silver Dollar City, which were our big events for this trip. What we liked best about staying in their home, was truly the fact that it felt like home...what we liked least...having to pack up and leave!

      We loved everything about this condo. It was very clean, had everything we needed and they even had a little welcome snack pack which was a nice surprise. We liked the location which is only about 10 minutes from the strip. Unfortunately it was a little to cold for us to enjoy the screened in deck but hope to come back another time and have the opportunity to sit out on it and enjoy the brook. Beds were very comfortable and we also liked not having the hassle of having to check in. Will definitely recommend this condo to others. Had a very comfortable stay.

      Great place to stay

      Enjoyed our stay very much. Best things were the comfortable beds, chairs (inside and on the porch), cleanliness, listening to the waterfall from the screened in porch, walk-in condo (only two steps for 85 yr old aunt to navigate), having all the comforts of home, convenient location, and all of Sandy's advise/tips. The step-in shower in the front bath was helpful for my aunt, also.

      I was somewhat hesitant to rent this condo because of 1) the cancelation policy, 2) the deposit not being applied to the final payment, and 3) paying by electronic check instead of my preferred method, by credit card. Cc was an option, but increased the cost. I took the chance because of the excellent reviews on Ta and the need for this particular set up for traveling with my aunt. If you have any of these concerns, don't worry. Sandy is very easy to work with. I think if we had needed to cancel, her excellent condo would have been rented by someone else on short notice. Our deposit was refunded to us right away.

      We can also highly recommend the tram ride at Dogwood Canyon (make reservations, even for mid-week), The Duttons (2for1 tix), the Titanic museum, and the surprise to us, the Museum at College of the Ozarks.

      A big thank you to Sandy and Gene for providing such a comfortable and convenient place to call "home" for our stay in Branson. My husband and I loved sitting on the enclosed balcony having our morning coffee and our teenagers loved the pool. We all enjoyed Sandy's tips and suggestions that were sent before our trip. They helped make our trip so much better. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We made some special memories and hope to return soon to make more!       Great vacation condo experience. Clean, with obvious work by owners to make every guest confortable. Kitchen was well stocked and even had some snacks available. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Laundry and cleaning supplies were outstanding. Recliners were nice, but seemed well used and mechanism was not always smooth. It would be nice to have some hooks avaiable in bedrooms or bathrooms to hang nightwear, towels, or swim suits.

      Sorry the recliners mechanism wasn't always smooth. We decided to replace the recliners now because we actually had new ones bought. We tried to coordinate delivery during our May and June vacations so we could take new photos for our ads but neither time worked out. We decided to go ahead and have them delivered at the end of July even though we were not there. Though it's been a while since I've sat in the new recliners, I remember they are very comfy and the rocking mechanism is a glider versus a regular rocker. Of course they recline in too.       We (my wife and I, my parents, and my two children 11 & 9) stayed in this condo the week of memorial day 2011. We found it to be well appointed and maintained. It was very clean. The location was very convenient, just a short drive from the strip in Branson. Great pool that my kids enjoyed just a few feet away. It was the first time visiting Branson for all of us, so we appreciated Sandy's helpful tips. We had absolutely no issues or problems with the condo, but my impression was that if we did, she would have done everything she could to correct it. She is very conscientious. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

      We stayed here over the Memorial Day Weekend. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable for 6 of us from 3 generations to have a great stay. Sandy was very responsive to my emails and took extra care to address any questions we may have had.The condo allowed us to use the exercise room (decent) and the pools. There are a few activities that the adjoining Wyndham property arranges that seem to add variety to the options, though we didn't try them. If you're looking to be right next to the strip, this is not the place. However, we were able to get there despite the traffic in 10-15 mins. I'd recommend this property with no reservations

      My husband and I brought my parents here. My (80+) father had had surgery four months prior and neither he nor my mother had traveled for many months prior to or following the surgery. When they were able, they would make trips to Branson/Eureka Springs annually. When my husband suggested this outing, I knew we would need to find more than a hotel room for our overnight accomodations.
      Searching the internet, this was the first condo I found that this would be perfetct for our immediate needs. In speaking with the owner, any hesitations/reservations/questions were answered sincerely/truthfully and shortly thereafter, I began the booking process.
      Although the weather was uncooperative, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner supplied information regarding attracttions/shows/eateries/etc. that was extremely helpful and was referenced throughout our stay.
      I would highly recommend this "home away from home" for you and your group should you be in the Branson area. "/

      We loved the condo! It was spotless and very open and welcoming. Our little twin grandsons loved the screened porch so they could be "outside." The kitchen, living and dining areas, as well as the master bedroom were much larger than other condos we have stayed in before. It really felt very "homey" and accommodating. And we were on a cool, cloudy weekend! We didn't get to take advantage of the pool or hot tub or playground, but hope to next time! You will not be disappointed if you stay at Meadow Brook. And Sandy's tips are invaluable for show and attractions in Branson---and we've gone there occasionally for 30 years!

      Wonderful place to stay! We stayed here with our triplet 19 year olds and a 17 year old friend for two nights and wish wish it had been a longer stay so we could have enjoyed both the condo and Branson more. We have traveled to Branson/Silver dollar city for almost 30 years and this was our first stay in a condo. No comparison to camping or staying in a hotel! The privacy of having 2 bedrooms/ bathrooms was very nice, especially as our children have become adults. We enjoyed having a dining room too although we only used it once to eat take-out food together late one night. Recliners were extremely comfortable and one of our boys may have slept there one night instead of the sleeper sofa bed. I didn't hear any complaints about the sleeper sofa bed-but didn't ask.
      This is where we want to stay next time we return to the area. This condo was well built, furnished, taken care of, and exceptionally clean. All of these things are important to us. We loved the screened-in balcony. The condo was in "like new condition" although I think it was built in 1992/3. Although we planned to cook breakfasts, we didn't end up cooking at all; but the kitchen was exceptionally clean and appeared to be well furnished for cooking. The kids were looking forward to the hot tub but it closed at 10:00 PM and we were never back in time. Pools were closed since it was mid October. Location was good because you did not have to go through the Branson traffic to get to Silver Dollar City and could easily get to bypass roads to get into Branson. It was a very quiet area. We all loved everything about this condo and hope to return soon. I don't think you could ever run out of things to do in Branson!

      The condo was easy to find, close to great restaurants and the shows. It only took us a few minutes to get everywhere, including shopping. It was clean and spacious. I felt like I was in my own home, with most everything provided, such as hairdryers, a fan, extra pillows, covers, a coffee pot, etc. We've stayed in far more expensive places in Branson, but this is the best. We will definitely return. We most enjoyed the screened-in porch overlooking the brook. Very peaceful.

Our 2 friends from Pittsburgh, pa were blown away. They were expecting our trip to Branson to be motel stays but when Lynne found your Condo and showed Jim and Darlene the pictures and the value for our money they were sold. Again, what comfort, 2 minutes to 76, the main drag of Branson and all its entertainment. Another great feature of your Condo was how well stocked it was. We just brought food, drink, clothes and Wa-La we were set to go. Your unit was very clean and the screened-in porch, setting there got our mornings and days started. If we had to kill time between shows we didn't have to go back to a cramped motel room, just headed to your condo for open relaxation. Thanks for all of the Show and area Information. and the "six" show suggestion was the Greatest.       The condo was so clean and inviting! We loved just being able to spend time together without worrying about anything! The kitchen is well stocked if you plan on cooking! The walk-in shower was terrific and our son loved the jacuzzi tub! Having three televisions was a nice touch so that everyone could watch what they wanted!       Most Pleasant Branson Stay We Have Ever Had!

      We have had the pleasure of visiting Branson on several occasions. This time, we decided to look into a vacation home rental rather than motel rooms to save on having to eat in restaurants every day. We were honestly a little bit skeptical about renting someone's home - something we have never done before.

      Our concerns were quickly put to rest the moment we walked through the door. I can only describe our first impression as an experience similar to walking into a brand new home for the first time, ready for us to "move in."

      It didn't take us long to feel like we were right at home in the comfortable recliners, although most of our time was spent on the screened-in deck overlooking the beautiful courtyard out back. We had many quality family conversations on that deck!

      Everything that would make a stay there complete was taken into consideration, as well as a few amenities one would not normally consider, such as movies (just in case you can't find anything on the cable TV to watch), games, magazines, etc. But of course, nothing beats just relaxing on that deck!

      Both bedrooms were simply immaculate, complete with comfortable king beds and ceiling fans (a combination you never find in a motel room!). Something that really impressed us was how even the "guest" bedroom had direct access to a bathroom.

      The location is far enough away from "the strip" so you don't have to deal with the hustle & bustle of the show traffic, yet is easily accessible. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where everyone is friendly.

      If you are considering a trip to Branson soon, let me recommend this: While the area offers a lot of great entertainment and attractions, consider a visit that focuses on enjoying and appreciating the beauty of the Missouri Ozarks. And, in my opinion, there's no better place to do that than at Brookside!

      We love Branson, have been about ten times, the first time was in 1996. It has changed so much. This was the first time we stayed at the Kalvelage's condo. Our son and daughter-in-law and her mother went with us Aug 2-6,2009, their first time to Branson. Everyone loved the condo, it is a beautiful condo, the back roads makes easy access to everything in Branson, and a comfortable place to come home to in the evening. I love the screened porch for coffee and breakfast in the mornings, so quiet. I will recommend this condo to anyone staying in Branson and Sandy makes the renting process so easy.       This was a great place to stay!

      The condo has a light and airy feel, with good use of floor space and design. We enjoyed having a "home" to come back to after an activity and not just a room with two beds and a bathroom.

      The pool being right behind the condo was also great. We could view the pool from the screened in sunroom, which also had a ceiling fan, light, and furniture. we spent time each day at the pool and the location was very convenient.

      I really didn't think I would enjoy having a washer and dryer, but when I thought I could do a few loads there and not have so much to do when I got home, it made it quite a wonderful benefit.

      I also enjoyed the full kitchen. It was nice being able to get a cold beverage or a snack out of the pantry. We were able to eat two meals a day at the condo and only one out so that saved on food costs.

      We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We will definitely consider staying here again.

      Enjoyed staying at Meadowbrook. Close to all of Branson. Very quiet and enjoyed staying at the condo very much. Plenty of room, sofa sleeper extra comfty. If possible would plan on returning next year. Enjoyed having outdoor pools close by. Loved having an outdoor screened in porch. Stayed with 4 boys and had plenty of room. They wanted to stay the condo and swim vs visiting Branson. Thanks so much for a great vacation rental.

      Hudson's Yearly Branson Stay

      We had a great time at SDC even though it was very warm. The condo is always great. It has enough room and is spotless! We love having the washer and dryer because we travel with a 1 yr. old and a 4 yr. old. "messes happen" We can also pack lighter.
      This is not our first stay at the Kalvelage's condo and will not be our last. We love coming there! Will probably see us next year when we get our schedules together!

      Vacationing in comfort

      We were very happy with the condo and returned to it in the evenings like it
      was home. Everything was so neat and clean. The quiet after a busy day in
      Branson was just wonderful. We were close enough to all the attractions, yet
      were not out on the strip where all the noise was and the directions that we
      received were easy to follow. Walmart was a 15 minute drive and Silver Dollar
      City was a short trip too. All in all, our family LOVED our vacation and we will
      be calling Sandy again in the future! Thanks for allowing us to use your
      beautiful condo.

      How fantastic it was to be able to come back to a wonderfully peaceful place after participating in all the great things to do in Branson! The condo was exactly like described, but better! The beds were so comfortable, the jaccuzi was great, but the back porch was the best! We played Monopoly at night out on the porch where it was cool and out of the rain!       Comfortable Condo, Serene Screened Porchh

      All of our family really enjoyed the very clean condo. It had everything that we look for in a place to stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. The screened in porch was very nice as there was a glider and a very nice place to drink your coffee in the morning and to be able to sit outside without getting bit by mosquitos was a big plus, also the sounds of the brook and frogs at night was very serene. Our kids liked playing with the toys and games supplied by Gene and Sandy. It also was a very quiet place to stay and right near a pool so we didn't have far to walk to get there. The beds were very comfortable as well as the 2 big chairs. This is a very roomy place. I would again highly recommend this condo.

      Relaxing adventure

      The condo was extremely clean and comfortable. Reservations were easy and things were ready when promised. Sitting on the screened in porch and listening to the babbling brook was so relaxing and the furniture inside and out was very comfortable. We were close to everything in Branson with a country feel. Though our visit was short it was so enjoyable that if we can ever find the time to come back we would make it a point to stay at this condo.
