We are located in SW Branson off Hwy 165. We are only 2.7 mi S of the strip. We have easy access to the attractions in Branson. Branson is very spread out with hilly and winding roads which can become congested. We provide driving directions, not only to our condo but to vacation necessities (grocery store, ATM, pharmacy, etc), restaurants & attractions using alternate routes to make your driving around Branson easier.

We loved the comfy king beds and queen couch, the gorgeous wall hangings,the recliners and glider, the screened in porch, flat screened tvs and wifi, the washer and dryer, kitchen pantry, large windows, supply of dishes and cookware, cool air conditioning, labeled switches, and the great info guide that was provided. The check in was terrific--none--just entry by keypad. The walkin was great--no stairs and easy parking. The condo was immaculate. Terrific experience--hope to stay their again on my next visit. Many thanks from all of us.

We enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was like a 'home away from home' with all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient for the concerts and museums we visited. We would have liked to have seen more concerts, museums, etc., but our 'vacation ran out'. It was nice to come 'home' and relax after being out all day.

We had a wonderful time in Branson. This condo is extremely clean and the beds were wonderful. I rarely sleep well in a new location, but I slept like a baby in the king-size beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we really didn't cook much. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be that we did not have more time we could spend there. The location was good; close, but not on the busy strip. We will return.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the condo. It was a good size and had all the room we needed to stretch out. Everything was well laid out and the owner had a wealth of information, so you weren't spending a lot of time trying to find anything.The location was a perfect distance from the sights we wanted to see. It was a nice setting and well kept property. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this condo for other travelers.

Condo was beautiful and most accomadating. Special tips and info left by Sandy was very helpful. This was a 4 ladies weekend to enjoy shopping, spa and winery. We have done a girls weekend for many years (have been at Branson a couple times too) and this was the best place we have ever stayed at. Thanks so much to Sandy.

We loved our stay at Brookside Condo. It is large and roomy, with comfortable beds. And a really nice screened in porch. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed,and was really clean. Sandy has it decorated nicely. Next time we are in Branson we will be staying at Sandy and Gene's Brookside Condo!

Even traveling from the Netherlands with minimal luggage is possible if you stay at this condo. Everything you could possible need for your stay is here. Close to all the atractions with excelent directions to get everywhere in Branson. We stayed with two couples and each had a bedroom and own bathroom. A t.v. in each room is wel een extra luxury. The wi-fi worked perfect. We took turns cooking and eating out. A great place to stay with a more personal touch than a hotel could give.

You have such a nice condo and you have obviously put a lot into it to make our stay above and beyond. The condo was extra clean, the furnishings were nice and updated, and your service was superb. There were so many details and small things that you included in the condo, which were appreciated. We also really appreciated your guide book, which you emailed prior to our arrival and had in the condo. We referenced the book multiple times a day prior to and during our stay. It was very helpful.
Thank you so much for everything. The condo was perfect for our family, especially with our little kids. My 2-yr-old was vacuuming the condo with your toy vacuum all weekend. It was nice knowing the carpets were clean for the baby to sit on and all the furniture was nice and new feeling. The pool was great and the patio was nice in the evenings. We had a wonderful experience and were so happy with your condo. We talked about if we came back to Branson we would look up your condo specifically to stay in! Thank you! -

We recently stayed in this lovely condo. When in Branson in the past we have stayed at hotels. This time we wanted something a little more relaxing so we searched vrbo.com for something comfortable. After much searching we found Gene and Sandy's condo. We were so pleased. It was very clean, in excellent condition, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the recliners. We didn't watch them much but it was nice having TVs in both bedrooms as well as the living room. This was just what we were looking for. We will definately stay there anytime we are in Branson.

We were very pleased with the layout of the condo, two private bedrooms with baths, roomy kitchen & living area, and the children liked eating out in the screened porch.

Gene and Sandy have taken vacation rentals a step further than most. From the time we chose this property until the time we departed, we had a direct line to Sandy. No surprises here. What they tell you, they deliver. Our family has stayed at several rentals over the years and this one has taken the top spot. It truly felt like you were home away from home. Conveniently located to pretty much everything, but off of the strip in a quiet complex. Our family of six had plenty of room and slept well on the high quality mattresses. The living room furniture was very comfortable which is rare in rentals. The kitchen was better stocked than any other rental we have experienced. No extra trips to Wal-Mart while you are there for kitchen or bathroom items. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the pool in the evenings. Our kids could swim and we could watch them from the porch, enjoying the evening without bugs. A bonus is that you get a personal travel guide with your rental. Gene and Sandy have put extensive work into a Branson guide exclusively for its renters. They have ideas, reviews, and insider tips on shows, restaurants, amusements, etc. They also have back road directions to avoid the traffic. Bottom line- If you are treated with the same professionalism, courtesy, and help we received from Gene and Sandy(and something tells me you will), you will have a great stay at this rental.

We absolutelty loved staying at the Meadow Brook Retreat condo. It had all the conforts of home and spacious enough that we where all able to relax. We saved so much money fixing our own meals at the condo that we where able to do more and shop more in Branson. It was a perfect place for us to meet up with our grown kids for a family vacation. We enjoyed it so much that they decided while we where there to make this a yearly event and that we will be returning sometime next summer! We had an amazing time and hated that it ended so soon.

This condo was perfect for our stay in Branson. It was a walk in which was a big bonus for our needs. Also, the screened in back porch that over looks the pool was just icing on the cake. Our girls had so much fun swimming in the pool and when we wanted to go out it was close to all attractions.

My husband and I stayed here on a little get-away to celebrate our anniversary. This place was better than we expected; very clean, lots of room, privacy, and cheaper than most hotels. Can't say enough great things about this place, and the helpfulness and hospitality of the owners. Sandy went above and beyond with her list of things to do around town for the best value, very helpful! We're already planning on bringing the kids here this summer, I know they will love the pool and all the room to move around in the condo, much much better than a cramped hotel room!

We loved the condo from the moment we walked thru the door. It felt so "homey" and comfortable. Sandy was such a great help in telling us about the condo and all the wonderful travel tips she gave were wonderful. We try to go to Branson at least once a year, but will plan to go more often now we have found this place. We would not even consider staying anywhere else since we have had the opportunity to rent this wonderful place.
The weather was perfect during our visit. We spent plenty of time on the back screened in porch area. It was so relaxing.
The location is so handy to everything.

On our arrival, we found the condo to be in immaculate condition. The furniture and furnishings were very comfortable especially the two recliners. We enjoyed using the screen porch to play cards. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (4 days). The location is far enough from the hustle of the strip but conveniently located to all access roads. The units (we rented both) were perfect allowing togetherness and privacy when desired. Everything was perfect for the 8 adults and one child. We've already selected some dates beginning in December through next October. Great units, location and owners!!!

From the time we made our reservation to the minute we walked in, we knew this was going to be our best vacation in Branson ever. The condo was beautiful, sparkling clean, very functional, and everything we had been promised. The rooms were very spacious and the recliners in the living area were the most comfortable we had ever sat in! The location was perfect too. We had never stayed on Hwy 165 before which gives you a feeling of being away from the city while still being very easy to get to the shows, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to all of our friends.

This is a lovely condo conveniently located in a beautiful vacation spot. We brought our daughter and her family from England and everyone really enjoyed our stay; would have loved to have stayed longer, but our schedule didn't permit an extended stay. We went to Silver Dollar City which is different from the amusement parks in England and they were impressed with the park. My daughter remembered going there with her grandparents as a child and wanted her teens to have the experience too. The kids liked the pool and we all enjoyed the screened porch both morning and evening. The condo was very comfortable and well decorated. Many condo that sleep six do not have seating for six and I was impressed that was seats for all in the dining room, living room and porch. Sandy is very easy to work with and her instructions and guides extremely helpful. In the past I have had a problem finding groceries, so directions to the grocery store were most helpful. She also includes every place you might need from medical to Redbox. Well done!

Our stay was Perfect in your very comfortable Condo! You filled every need we had, mostly a comfy place to relax! We enjoyed having breakfast on your balcony overlooking the brook, so peaceful especially for us escaping from Tornado scenery over the past few months. The location of your Condo was perfect yet close enough to everything we had planned. We saw the Legends in Concert show, rented a Pontoon @ Scotty's Trout Dock & Marina, shopped at Branson Landing & Grand Village. Meals out were good, we visited Florentinas, Shorty Small's, Waxy's Irish Pub, also tried Fall Creek Steak & Catfish unfortunately wasn't a hit for us. Thank You for a wonderful Condo, we had a peaceful & relaxing time. We definitely plan a return visit! We Loved your Condo!!!

We loved the time we had in Branson. Even though it was very hot, the condo was a perfect get-a-way. Just off the beaten bath but yet it was very convenient to all our activities. We enjoyed the pool, cleanliness of condo, and the washer/dryer was much appreciated after we were out in the heat during the day. Sandy's Travel Guide was very helpful and we used several of the restaurants and the laser tag that she had mentioned in the guide. Her directions were the best! We will definitely be back!

We had a terrific time. The condo is very clean, convenient, and comfortable with everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. Sandy's tips and directions were most helpful and made getting around the traffic a snap. When we visit Branson again, we absolutely will stay in Gene and Sandy's condos. We stayed here over the Memorial Day Weekend. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable for 6 of us from 3 generations to have a great stay. Sandy was very responsive to my emails and took extra care to address any questions we may have had.The condo allowed us to use the exercise room (decent) and the pools. There are a few activities that the adjoining Wyndham property arranges that seem to add variety to the options, though we didn't try them. If you're looking to be right next to the strip, this is not the place. However, we were able to get there despite the traffic in 10-15 mins. I'd recommend this property with no reservations

We had a wonderful time in Branson, thanks in part to the accomodations at Sandy and Gene's condo. The condo was nicely decorated, well equipped, and clean. What sets this condo apart from the others was Sandy's personal touch. She is very thorough throughout the whole process, providing helpful information about Branson in general, in addition to the condo itself. My only complaint is that the nearby pool was closed for maintenance most of the time we were there, which is why I gave only 4 stars for service. We would definitely go back and would not hesitate recommending this condo to anyone.

This was my second time in condo #4, first time renting both condos, side-by-side. Everyone in my family was delighted with their private king-size beds and private bathrooms. Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone in the living rooms. I loved listening to the babbling brook and the tree frogs while sipping my morning coffee in the enclosed porch. The location is perfect - just 10 minutes from everything, but away from the hustle and bustle. Mom (87 years old) did well on her walker, only two small steps to get to the front door, and no steps inside. Ceiling fans kept things cool - never needed the air conditioner.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was exceptional. Great beds, even the pillows nice. The recliners were awsome. Loved the screened porch. I have nothing but praise for your unit. It was especially nice due to no steps.

We wished we could have stayed longer -- quite one of the nicest condos we've rented in recent years. The recliners were a real plus, especially after a day of walking around SDC. The screened in porch with tables and chairs was great for eating "out" and just relaxing. The location was away from traffic and quiet. Would like to come again sometime.

We stayed at this beautiful condo for a week in March 2011. They had all the ammenities we needed for my wife and I and our three children. It was a great place to stay and we will look to renting again the next time we come to Branson (hopefully the next time it'll be a little warmer, though it was March!). Sandy's guides were an excellent source for us when deciding different places to visit and shows to see.

My parents and sister and I very much enjoyed our stay. We would have enjoyed the porch more but it was just a bit too chilly. Sometimes we come in april in stead and probably will next year. Very comfortable, great beds, good location. Will stay there again.

We were celebrating our 15th Wedding anniversary and wanted something different than a typical hotel room. We even explored nice hotel rooms with a breakfast included in stay. We found this condo to be ideal for our situation. Just my husband and I. Bed was very comfortable. Condo nicely furnished. Recliners had my husband trying to figure out where they purchased them because he was so "comfy". Very relaxing place. Not much open in January, but we stayed 4 nights and were never at a loss to find something to do or enjoy in Branson. Titanic exhibit has a discount if you get your tickets online - still a bit pricey, but better none the less. We happened to be there for the ice sculpture day at Titanic. Absolutely gorgeous and amazing. Outback restaurant (not part of the chain, but very good food - may have been the original idea for the chain) awesome. Landry's was also outstanding. Ruby Tuesday had an awesome salad bar, but I understand that is pretty normal for them. We will definitely be back to this condo or their other one. Thanks Sandy!!

My daughter, granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town for a Christmas shopping weekend. We really appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleaniness of the unit. It was also nice to have the washer and dryer as well. Great location and the owner's tips were useful. We hope to make this an annual event and would definitely consider staying here again.

This place was perfect for our family to spend Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed to made our dinner feast, and all the extra touches of home. Toys for the kids, movies, and an open floor-plan made this a great experience for our family. The location of the condo to the Branson activities was also great...not right on the strip, but close enough to get wherever you want. Thank you Sandy!

We have stayed here before and hope to schedule our future vacation outings with Sandi and Gene. The condo is "home-comfortable," tastefully decorated and a peaceful place to spend time. It has always been very clean and well stocked. We now consider it a home away from home and would not consider staying elsewhere on our Branson visits.

What a great place to spend a vacation. The condo was one of the nicest places we've rented from Home away...and we've rented several. The place was comfortable, spotless and made you feel like home. Sandy has done a beautiful job decorating. Everything was as they presented it in their description of the property and condo. We will definately recomend this to our friends and family. Can't wait to come back again!

We are glad our condo provided you all of the comforts of home. We apologize for the rules and fees. But our experience with our first condo taught us several lessons. Unfortunately fees became necessary. Our no smoking & no pet policy was not enforceable without a fee for violators. To encourage bookings by guests with definite travel plans, we added the cancellation fee. Because we like to keep our condo well supplied versus offering our guests only the minimum necessities, it was necessary to charge a fee for taking the excess supplies home (paper products, detergent & soaps). I’m sorry these bothered you.
It is sad a few guests made us add these fees & our rules, but the benefit is most of our guests are like you. They take care of our vacation home as if it was their own which is good for all of us. When you are comfortable enough you feel like home, you can’t help but leave with fun filled memories.
If you come in the fall when the leaves are turning the mountain view you are talking about is beautiful.
We would love to have you come back. If this condo is full our condo the Brookside Getaway right next door is a mirror image of this one. I’m sure you would enjoy staying there too. Thank you for staying with us.

We were very happy and impressed with the condo unit we stayed in. Very clean and all the basics provided. Not like it's hard enough to pack up your baby to go on vacation, it is nice to know the simple things were there to make our vacation easier. Great location. We will definitely come back.

We so enjoyed staying at the condo. It was more than inviting and homey. We stayed at their other condo last year with our sons and totally enjoyed it so this year, there was no thinking about it. We had to stay Meadow Brook retreat. It was fun and so clean. Plenty of room and the fully supplied kitchen is really nice. We like to take our time in the mornings and had wonderful breakfasts on the patio. Thanks again for letting us rent it. We will return sometime and we will be calling you!

This condo was an excellent choice. It was immaculate, nicely decorated and very convenient. Pool was great. Very easy access to the unit (no stairs). Owners were great - very accommodating and concerned about our needs. Can't wait to go back next year. Would not stay anywhere else!
