Casa Encantadora is a 1400 sq ft open beam bungalow located on the Northwest Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in Potrero. Located in the quiet subdivision of Surfside, it is a quick 2 block walk to the beach of Playa Potrero with a variety of restaurants and shopping in the area.

Our home is fully furnished, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, is air conditioned, and has its own large pool surrounded by a lush garden all on a large, private lot. Our home has municipal potable water and hot water for showers and laundry, telephone, wireless internet, and cable. The International airport located in Liberia is 45 minutes away and West Jet now flie...s into Liberia.

The area of Potrero offers an array of activities from pool side siestas in the sun to snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, deep sea fishing, sailing, hiking, exploring the vast array of pristine beaches, zip lining, and golf at the world class golf resort of located at Conchel..... everything minutes from our home. The average annual temperature is 25-30+ and the ocean is always a warm 25-27. All this makes Costa Rica an attractive and favored vacation destination.

About 8 km north of Flamingo, Potrero offers a quieter atmosphere for vacationers who prefer to be away from the hustles and bustles. With just a few condominium communities spread out along the broad beach, there is plenty of privacy and room to enjoy sunbathing, swimming or simply walking on the beach and admiring sunsets. Other activities offered by tour companies here include snorkeling, scuba diving, sportfishing, horseback riding and kayaking. For nightly recreation, hop over to Flamingo where you can move to the beat in the disco, roll the dice in the casino, or slip out to the terrace for a romantic dinner and drink under the stars.

Potrero is an easy 40-minute drive from the Daniel Oduber International Airport. However, coming from San Jose it could take up to 5 hours by car. If you have to land at the international airport near San Jose, consider taking a 45-minute commuter flight to the Tamarindo airstrip, followed by a 20 minutes’ ride by car or taxi to Potrero.
