Bedford, United KingdomLuxury catered chalet
Left on 04/14/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Stayed here for 2 weeks catered in both of their master suites. The chalet is beautiful and looked just how you would expect a luxury ski chalet to look. Both suites we stayed in were huge and had there own fireplace. Moulton Browne goodies in the bathroom too, which were replenished throughout our stay. I looked at all the bedrooms and apart from 1 double room were all twice the size of your average ski chalet room in Europe. The catered side of things was excellent with imaginative food prepared and cooked by Eileen and husband mike. Daily shuttle to the slopes was also a bonus although the free bus is at the end of the road too. I would deff recommend this place to everybody and if we venture back to breckenridge would try and stay there again.

Northumberland National Park, United KingdomAbsolutely Fabulous!!!
Left on 02/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We stayed here with a large group of friends earlier this year. Absolutely first class!! James (the owner) picked us up from the airport armed with drinks and a vast array of local knowledge to share with us. Everything was organised to the letter for us and we literally just skied straight into our holiday. The Chalet itself is absolutely first class. Incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, free wi-fi, an open fire, iPod docking stations, heated boot rack and the Chef's...well the fantastic Eileen & Mike are about to get a paragraph of their own.
Breakfast was different every day and ranged from classic Eggs Benedict to a Breakfast Burrito.
Every afternoon we returned to Chalet Chloe after a days hard skiing to the most fabulous smells of home baking...without fail Eileen had trays of scones, cakes, brownies etc...fist class care from her and Mike
Dinner was a class of its own! Catering for everyones needs, likes and dislikes they prepared the most fantastic array of fayre - again no two nights were the same. Soups, stir-frys, classic roast dinners, curry, home made ice-cream (on request I might add!) and waffles...all that, yet not so much you couldnt move. The dining table became the focal point for the group, seconded quickly by the open fire and iPod docking station.
Their care, attention and consideration for us not just a group but as individuals was fantastic.
James came religiously every day to check if we needed lifts, advice or anything else that crops up when there are 9 of you on holiday together- fantastic customer service all round.
We would not hesitate to return given the opportunity!! -

186338Christmas in Breckenridge 2011
Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We normally ski on a bit of a budget in Europe and this year decided, with friends, to push the boat out and stay at Chalet Chloe in Breckenridge.
The chalet and all the staff are fantastic, we couldn't have wished for a more enjoyable Christmas.
The party of 14 ranged in age from 9 to 50. With such a spread of ages you would have thought that meals would have presented a problem to our hosts Mike and Eileen, not a bit of it, they were just as happy to knock up a meal of beans on toast for the youngsters as they were to prepare some fantastic meals morning and evening for the rest of us. James and amanda were equally helpfull, running people into town when needed, collecting people from the ski lifts...no task was too much to ask.
As for the chalet itself, it is extremely well appointed and has everything you might possibly need. I'm struggling to think of anything that we were disappointed with...erm...I didn't like the colour of the napkins!...Ok I'm only joking, the napkins were fine too.
Not only that...it is also only 30 staggering yards from the free shuttle bus stop if you fancy a few drinkies in town where I can report that all the natives are very friendly!
I would wholeheartedly recommend chalet Chloe. -

Chalet Chloe combines 5* luxury with the personal touch. The chalet is stunning and in a great location close to the slopes and the town. We travelled as a couple on our own and joined other small groups staying at the chalet. The atmosphere was was relaxed and sociable and everyone gushed over the delicious meals served up by Ken and Don. (very very very talented chefs) I have never eaten so well, luckily we had plenty of time and fabulous skiing terrain to burn off the calories on the slopes before returning back to a relaxing hot tub. The skiing at Breckenridge is extensive and the snow conditions were consistently amazing... every day was a powder day!! The scenery is breathtaking and with access to other resorts on our pass we also enjoyed great days skiing at Keystone and Beaver Creek during our holiday. This is the first time we have skied in USa and we were not disappointed and will definitely be back. The service is excellent with the highest praise going to James and amanda to deliver great tailor made holidays at a great price. Definitely worth travelling the distance to enjoy the experience.

There is not one bad thing to say about Chalet Chloe, apart from the fact you'll put weight on!! From the moment we were picked up from the airport by James, our wonderful holiday experience began, the house is so comfy, clean and every little detail finished off to a remarkable standard. The bedrooms are the best we have ever stayed all with ensuite. The chefs Ken and Don were so nice even sharing recipes, It's truly home sweet home, a 2 minute walk to the bus stop which runs several times the hour, a coutsey bus which takes you to the most amazing slopes, with 155 runs to cover! The town Main street is lovely relaxing shopping and plenty of eating houses, We were a group of 9 and all of us do not have 1 bad word to say.

Stafford, United KingdomChalet Chloe - Simply The Best
Left on 02/25/2011 for a stay in February 2011
Was fortunate enough to come with friends in 2/2010 & again in 2/2011 to ski in "Breck" & stay at this great and hospitable chalet location. Make no mistake, having skied in many European destinations, chalets & hotels - this is a class above. James & Amanda + 2 new additions make you feel instantly welcome. The food is always superb & if chosen, cooked to order by your caterers.
Chalet Chloe feels like home from home just near base of Peak 8 & stones throw from bus stop [ which is usually not needed as their guys kindly transport you all upto the slopes in 3 minutes ]. Note it is located well up Ski Hill road, up on the right at North Woods & 2nd chalet in ( as there are no house signs visible ) .
I would recommend you hire a 4x4 from Denver. Let James order you ski passes & if necessary book you a great deal with your skiis & boots also. The ski passes include 5 areas - Breckenridge, A Basin, Beavercreek, Vail & Keystone. We spent as much time in Keystone as Breckenridge [which is 20+ mins away] as this is also a fantastic resort for skiing with amazing long vertical descents. Do the "Flying Dutchman" a few times & you will understand !
If you are flying from the UK really there is only 1 way to do it & that is via Ba - Heathrow /Denver direct 9 hours as all other routes are much much longer & you get more jet lag [ you will awake at 2/3 o'clock in the mornings ]. By return the Ba flight usually leaves at 5.30 pm - so get an extra days ski pass & ski until midday !
So what more can I say other than you pays your money & you takes your choice. In this instance it is money well spent at Chalet Chloe. -

This was one of the best skiing holidays we have had in a long time. A very well organised and extremely friendly set up. Chalet Chloe is beautiful and luxurious, exactly as it looks in the photos. We were all very well looked after and the staff always helpful. The food was great too!

Dwyran, United KingdomThe best family chalet holiday we have yet experienced
Left on 02/15/2011 for a stay in January 2011
As this was our first trip to the States, we were more afraid of the travel than the benefits of the skiing. By the time we left, the travel was simply a welcome rest after one of the best trips, never mind skiing trips we have taken.
We are regular visitors to the alps and so the chalet concept is not new to us. What was new was the simplicity and sincerity of the service we received. By simplicity, I mean the ease with which every dumb request we made was dealt with and sincerity in the fact that James and the staff never let on how needy they thought we were.
If Chalet Chloe is anything to go by then there is only one way to describe an american one - Huge and really nice. The bedrooms and living areas are bigger than our in home (actually, I think the living room is bigger than our house!!!). The food was better than great and the facilities a very welcome distraction for the children.
If you haven't yet experienced skiing in the us, then my advice would be simple. Get over the travel, get over the cost because its worth every minute and every penny. James, we will be back and sorry once again about what Osian (our 4 year old boy) did with the poker.

Left on 01/24/2011 for a stay in April 2010
2010 was our 2nd year of staying at Chalet Chloe, Our first trip we were unsure of what to expect, but from the time of arrival we were made part of a family, everyone was from different walks of life, and we all just got along great with each other. So on our second trip 2010 we were so looking forward to the whole trip, and just as we had hoped it was a new family and we just had a blast, thanks to James and his Staff we were treated like Royalty.
