Nestled in a wooded area, these units are right next to the Blue River that runs beneath towering Blue Spruce trees. Feel the true Colorado experience with the river running by your unit. There is a connecting door to the next apartment. The dor is thin and lets the slightest noise through. The people in the next room were not making excessive noise but I could hear them as if I were in their room. Plug sockets were very warn and scary to use. Window blinds are warped so do not give great privacy. All other aspects of the apartment were ok.
Checkin is not at the Tennenbaum! You get your keys from Ski Country Resorts which is at the other end of town. Once I discovered this and found the store, checkin was easy and pleasant.Response from Ski Country Resorts - 04/11/2013

Hello Stu- Let me begin by saying that I am glad to hear that despite a few undesired qualities, you enjoyed your unit. I apologize for any noise that you experienced, we are working on a solution to remedy these situations. Also, I am sorry that expedia did not relay the information that you were supposed to check-in at our central location before going to the complex. To avoid sitautions like that we always encourage our guests to book direct so there are no surprises at arrival. This unit is the third bedroom lock out. You feel as though you are part of the unit next door and it was noisy at times. The unit needs a face lift, carpet is worn and dated, window treatments are old, the tv is from the 80's and the bathroom is tiny. The saving grace is the proximity to downtown ( 10 minute walk) and a lift ( 7 minute walk)

The location is top notch for Tannenbaum. The units are far enough away from the late night crowd and close enough to walk to and from town or the lifts.
