Pros: Best price in town that we could find for a quick weekend get away.
Pretty clean
Close to town
Cons: Needs some TLC. Blind vain missing letting light in, Cracking wall plaster, paint around window gone from water leak.
Wife did not like the mattress on the bed
Felt we were lucky to get a parking spot even though we had a pass
Hot tub off site
I would stay again for the savings, my wife would only stay if they upgraded the mattress.

Grand Forks, NDFour O'Clock Lodge #6: Very Good, but could be better with a few
Left on 02/21/2012 for a stay in February 2012
First off, the staff was very helpful and friendly upon check-in. They gave great directions to the condo as well as explaining the Free Ride bus system and schedule and some attractions around town. The location of the lodge was great, about a half-block away from the Snow Flake lift and ticket window and ski-in off of the Four O'Clock run. About a 10 minute walk to Main Street and great scenery so we took advantage of not having to hassle with parking.
The condo itself was small, but nice. Definitely would say that the room is for 2 people MaX. The room was a little dated (don't think they need the VCR anymore) but clean. The biggest issue my wife and I had was that the bed was terrible! If I moved at all she woke up, if she moved at all I woke up, and we actually got up earlier because we couldn't take it any more. This was not ideal since my wife was there for a multiple day conference and she has a bad back. The pillows were bad too. The bathroom was ok, a little cramped for space. The shower head water pressure was about 1 million PSI, so I didn't so much as lather up, as get pressure washed. Contrary to other reviews I have read, we really didn't have an issue with noise from other rooms, except hearing people walking on the steps and wooden walkways in their ski boots (noisy no matter how soft you tread). Another issue we had was with the hot tub access, the person at check-in said it was "just down a short walking path," however it was closer to 5 blocks, which makes it tricky if you are just panning on going in your swimsuit. We just drove there and parked in the lot (probably not supposed to, but no one said anything)
Bottom line is that if you are looking for a reasonably priced ski-in/ walk-to-lift condo, then the Four O'Clock lodge is a good option. I would have rated it much higher if the bed was better, and would probably stay here again if the bed was replaced.Response from Ski Country Resorts - 02/29/2012

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Four O' Clock lodge. When you start venturing a little ways up the mountain, studios are hard to come by. Four O' Clock is great as it provides economy lodging just steps from the lift. It is also good to hear that our staff was helpful in guiding you about town. Breckenridge always has something going on and our staff is usually quite knowledgable.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble sleeping. I will have the bed checked out and see what we can do to make sure it is up to par.
Thanks for taking the time to write the review and we hope to see you back with us soon!

Not really the fault of the reservation company, but the place was so noisy that the people coming home from the bars at 2:30 woke everyone up. They were nice enough to keep the music down, but it's the building that's at fault.
Location is good, outdated building, but you get what you pay for.Response from Ski Country Resorts - 02/17/2011

I spent 5 days at the 4 O'clock Lodge and was quite satisfied. The studio unit was very clean and furnished quite well. It was very close to the snow flake lift (1 block)giving me access to the entire mountain. The ability to ski to the unit at days end was definitely a big plus. The staff at Snow Country Resorts were extremley helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend the 4 O'clock Lodge and Snow Country Resorts.

We rented a studio that had adequate space but would have enjoyed a King rather than Queen sized bed. This was a nice, clean unit, nicely furnished and supplied. It's conveniently located on the shuttle route and near the Riverside Performance space, making it within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We definitely would go back again, only please lower the microwave. It should be at eye level, NOT overhead.
