Stayed in Breck before and we were well aware that this was the end of the ski season so had expected the place to possibly look a little 'jaded' but to our delight it didn't. We had a marvelous stay and there was everything to hand that we could have wanted. Situated at the brilliant Beaver Run with views that were unrivaled and the convenience of being part of a bigger resort meant we had the shuttle bus at our fingertips as well. Be warned that two of the bedrooms are downstairs and therefore feel a little bit cut off from the rest of the sleeping quarters, fine if you are all adults but may cause a problem if you have children.
The agents were also great (especially Katie)patiently answering our many questions before we arrived from the UK and offering a whole host of recommendations this saved us wasting time once we were in Breck big thank you Katie. Have already recommended this to two other families. The only reduction to a 4 star was the attitude of a couple of staff at Beaver Run that just weren't customer service orientated, which had no relflection on the standard of the apartment or the rental agents. -

Urbandale, IowaBeautiful condo, wonderful location & plenty of room for group o
Left on 09/07/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We chose this condo for a recent family reunion and we were not disappointed. The condo had enough rooms/beds for our large group, plus a large dining/living area. We were able to be together, but have our own space when needed.
The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Tons of dishes, pots and pans. Obviously you're not going to find everything, but we were able to prepare meals fine with what was provided.
The bedrooms were all very spacious and included their own TVs and bathroom (only one did not have a bathroom, but there is a huge bathroom in the main hall). The washer and dryer worked well, also. We did have to contact maintenance for the washer--we couldn't change the load size. They told us the unit we were in was privately-owned, so they could not provide maintenance. We walked downstairs, borrowed a screwdriver and moved the load size to large for all loads of wash.
The use of the Beaver Run Resort shuttle was wonderful. We would call and the shuttle would arrive at our location within 5-10 minutes. The resort is also close enough that you can walk to town. The kids loved the availability of the pool at the resort, plus the use of 6 hot tubs (3 were closed when we were there, but still plenty of room). Only disappointment--the sauna was not working. The kids also loved the arcade! Not something we planned on doing, but it did provide entertainment for about 30 minutes!
Overall, this is a great condo, with a lot of nice features. Our family had a wonderful time in Breckenridge. The condo and Beaver Run Resort were a huge part of the reason. Already my kids are saying when we go back, they want to stay there again! -

We were looking for a ski in and ski out condo that would hold three families on our spring break ski trip. This condo was perfect! The rooms were spacy and spread out where we never felt like we were on top of each other. Two rooms were actually across the hall but connected via a walkway on the second floor. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the slopes (very close) and easily came home for lunch. At peak times, the shuttle service to go into town was very slow which was frustrating.

San Marcos, TXAwesome vacation

A group of friends and I took a short ski vacation and stayed at the Black Diamond Penthouse. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I must say the best part about the condo is location location location. Nothing like getting up in the morning and making a quick breakfast before walking across the sky walk to the ski lockers (which are awesome and amazingly close to the lift). The Beaver Run Super Chair is maybe 50 yards from the lockers...we couldn't have asked for more. The free shuttle to and from anywhere in town was an added bonus when we decided to go to one of the many restaurants and bars. Definitely worth a stay if you are going to Breck with a group of friends and/or family.
Oh...one more thing...the "grocery" store on site leaves a great deal to be desired. If you plan on cooking meals in the condo you will definitely need to take a trip into town and go to the real grocery store there. Luckily we had a car for this excursion as carrying a cart full of groceries on the shuttle would not have been fun. Although, this was the only time a car was needed the entire trip. -

The only small problem we had was there was a broken chair in the living room. -

This uniquely designed penthouse was a delight to stay in. Lots of space and updates to make the whole gang feel comfortable. Three long days of skiing and a few good home cooked meals were just what our crew needed this past presidents day weekend. Definitely considering a return trip next year.

The views are spectacular and the location is ideal for getting right out and skiing. The only drawback was no daily house keeping but otherwise it was the best vacation and Breckenridge village is amazing! We just loved it!

Loved the condo in Beaver Run. Traveled with 2 other families...so the 6-bedroom unit gave us plenty of space to spread out. Pricier than I would have liked, but other than that, great. Kitchen was especially well equipped (much better than most condos we've stayed at). Very clean.

Black Diamond condo in Beaver Run Resort was spectacular __the views of mountains skiers and evening horse drawn sleighs. The condo was extremely clean and comfortable with easy access to the pool, sauna and hot tubs. The convenience of ski lockers a few feet from the slopes and lifts made the experience even better. Thanks for a memorable liofetime experience.

We stayed in the Black Diamond suite with another family, a total of 11 people.
The suite was everything we needed from sleeping arrangements to ease of
cooking and storage. The ski lockers were especially convenient. The free
shuttle to town was great as well. We will be back to Beaver Run for future
family ski vacations. -

Murfreesboro, ARFantastic Room and Location
Left on 01/22/2010 for a stay in January 2010
The home is absolutely one of the best locations at Beaver Run...it is right around the corner from the elevator that takes you to the skywalk. The home was great, as were the furnishings. We only wished the furniture was better positioned to see the fireplace and TV. The beds were very comfortable and the chairs in the bedrooms were such a nice touch.
We did have problems with the heating system though. We had been told not to turn the heat above 65, but when we got there, the heat was on 80 on all of the downstairs thermostats. And it took 2+ days to get the heat to go off, no matter how low we set the thermostats. We called the number on the fridge, but never got a call back about it. After 2+ days, the heat went off finally, but then it would not come back on, no matter where we set the thermostats. The upstairs heat worked like it should.
Despite the heating problem, which was mainly only a problem in the mornings (because the sun warms the rooms by midmorning), we will stay here again.
