What Past Guests Are Saying
Wonderful location, shabby condo
My family of 5 and I booked this condo through a travel agent thinking it was part of Beaver Run completely, but it is not. While this unit is inside Beaver Run, it is privately owned and is in serious need of updates and repairs.
The rental agents, VisitBreck.com, made a decent effort to improve our stay once we realized we were not receiving housekeeping for our week's stay, but they and our travel agent need to figure out how to better communicate. We were told we booked within Beaver Run, but that was not accurate and made for a frustrating vacation kick off.
The unit has a remarkable location. 5 starts for that aspect. But it is quite run down, from broken radiator covers to missing kitchen utensils, no working humidifier in one of the bedrooms (it was there but not operational) to a completely unacceptable master bathroom. This bathroom was not clean, its tub peeling and vanity falling apart. In addition, the entire unit was not fully cleaned upon our arrival -- there was a Band-aid on the floor, used toothpaste container under a desk and an open grape jelly bottle in the cabinet.
So just know that this is a beat up ski condo and not part of the premium Beaver Run accommodations. However, as a guest, you do get to take advantage of the resort's amenities -- sans housekeeping -- so it is worth the stay.

Thank you for the review. The new owner is in the process of upgrading the property and we have addressed all current concerns.
There is every other day maid service for this unit.
Ski-In and Out is a Great Experience
I chose Beaver Run Resort because it is located at the base of Peak 9, right at the Beaver Run Super Chair. This turned out to be an extra blessing for us, as my son was sick the first two days, and my daughter and I were able to ski and periodically check on him. The location helps this get a four-star rating, as furnishings are a bit dated, and both bathtub drains backed up easily. Kitchen was minimally equipped, but adequate for simple cooking. Service was pleasant and beds comfortable.
Location was great - rooms needed a remodel
The service at Beaver Run was great. Breckenridge accommodations being a separate business and location was strange. The suite was okay, but needed a lot of updating. The coffee pot didn't work, so they brought us up a new one. There were lights out that needed new bulbs all over the suite. Maintenance came and changed a few for us. The bathrooms were kind of gross. Our bathtub didn't drain while we were in the shower, and the water filled up to above our ankles. We also thought it was strange that there was a charge to use the wireless internet in our room. That was disappointing and surprising in this age where wireless is normally accessible almost anywhere. The location was great. We enjoyed our view.
Fun in Breckenridge
Stayed in a nice 2BR/2Ba condo. Love the location, especially the access to the great town hiking trails out the back door! The one really negative thing was that our room faced the pool and it was loud in the evenings when trying to go to sleep.

bad info about checkin and no maid service
Emailed info and phone conversations told me to stop at lock box. When I did, welcome package was not there; had to wait 20 minutes at midnight for help. When lady came, she said I should just go to Beaver Run and check in anyway. This was a major inconvenience! Then the condo had no maid service which was not mentioned earlier; even though it was very expensive, I had to empty garbage or be fined. I would hesitate before using this service again.

Good location, average service.
Since the property is located inside a hotel, we could use all hotel facilities, but we had absolutely no service (i.e. cleaning, fresh towels, fresh bedding). Whenever we needed assistance we had to call Breck accomodations. One of the toilets flooded and hotel reps came to the room and used our towels to clean up. We called Breck accomodations and 2 days later they brought new towels. Of course we had to beg the hotel to lend us some towels in the mean time!
