Loved the location; easy walk to town, gondola, hiking trails. Great accommodations for reunion of 21 family members. Lounge was perfect for being together inside. Grills were perfect for preparing group meal. Only downside to room: intolerably dry and warm. Fans provided with the room helped, but no secure outside ventilation at night if you're on the ground floor.

Everything with reservations, check-in, check-out went smoothly. We were a late arrival and Great Western took care of us. The accommodations and location were perfect for our family. We were able to come in for lunch and get right back on the slopes without having to catch a shuttle or walk. We appreciated the spacious bathroom. We had a concern with the television at the condo and the repairman came by quickly. We had a great stay.

The accommodations were consistent with the photos reviewable online. However, there were several maintenance issues that were significant, and which were not immediately or successfully addressed. Those issues greatly affected our stay in an adverse way. The unit would have been perfect, but: the sleeper sofa was unusable - the mattress would not stay on the frame; the ground level patio door lock was defective, and would not stay locked. When we called for maintenance, attention was prompt, but issues were not fixed. We were instead left a note explaining how to pull out the sleeper sofa and lock the door. After a few more phone cals the issues received appropriate attention, but the sleeper couldn't be repaired, and a temporary fixed was implemented for the door lock. We were provided a brand new aero bed on the second night of our three-night stay, but the bed did not retain air - it had a leak, so for two nights we only had accommodations for two people. Great Western ultimately gave us a $100 credit and late check-out as accommodations.

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and we have forwarded the information on to not only the Owner of Riverbend Lodge #104, but also the Maintenance Department.
We have had the sleeper sofa mechanisms completely replaced and the door lock fixed since your stay, but I am very sorry to hear about the experience overall, especially with the brand new Aero Bed having a leak. That has been returned to the store and exchanged for one that does not leak. We are now double checking all Aero Beds to ensure that they have no problems retaining air before given to our guests.

If your objective going to Breck is ski/snowboard, this is a great place! Our objective was more about establishments on main street and there was quite a wall from the lodge to get there. Parking was free in the public parking areas during the month of October, so that made driving to main street or elsewhere easy. Room was great, living room was big, flat panel tv with dvd player, bathroom nicely sized, and hot tub area was average. All in all, good value for the money!

We have been using Great Western Lodging to book our annual trips to Breckenridge since 2004 and feel the service, accomodations, and value consistently provides an excellent experience. This year, we liked the extra room that the interior studio provided at Riverbend but the room temperature was hard to titrate (very warm) and the lock on the exterior door did not always catch. Other than those items, we were extremely pleased with the large refrigerator, extra burners, and the wonderful jacuzzi. The staff at Great Western is always very accomodating and it was great to have them already book our lift tickets and help out with ski rentals for one of us. Terrific value!

This was one of my best ski trips ever! The condo was very nice and very close to the ski lift. It was the perfect size for a couple, but would get small if you had more than 2 people in it. Service from Great West was excellent throughout the entire process, and the price was great. Thanks!

The outdoor grilling area and indoor social room were such an asset to staying at Riverbend. We were able to accommodate more people than the rental unit itself would allow. The staff at Great Western (Ryan in particular) were very helpful finding the right location for our stay as well as providing for our needs while visiting Breckenridge. We'll be back !!

the studio was fine with a few wear and tear flaws. The property hot
tub was not hot enough to be a public hot tub, the room did not smell
fresh (and it was something that our ski-fouled stink could not over
come) and the sliding glass door didn't lock--which we discovered
after locking ourselves out during a ill fated hot tub trip. So for us it
was a good thing that the door didn't lock, since all we had to do was
yank on it to get it open. -

We loved the location and interior of the room, however were dissapointed with the view from the room. We stayed in a similar room two years ago and loved the view toward the lift and thought we would get the same. However when entering the room we found that our view was that of another unit and we could not open the blinds to see outside if we wanted privacy. We would rent in Riverbend again, but know to specify wanting a room facing the woods/lift. This is what we had originally rented but there was a conflict after the fact forcing us to be bumped to another room.

We stayed at this property for Spring Skiing. It was great. The Snowflake lift is right around the corner, literally 20 feet to the lift. You can also ski directly back down Snowflake or take the Four O'Clock Run and cross the street back to Riverbend.
There are two hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoors. They also have community grills which was nice to grill our steaks on for dinner.
This particular unit has a double sink and a large bathroom. The full size refridgerator was also a plus. The fireplace kept the room nice and toasty. A big plus, was the wireless internet.
I would highly recommend this property. -

My wife and stayed here on our honeymoon. We were VERY satisfied with the property and the surrounding area. The condo we rented was cozy and warm. It had a beautiful interior and all the amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was nice staying right next to the ski left as all we had to do was put our gear on and walk over to the lift. The town (which is a very short bus ride away) was absolutely fabulous! There is a lot to do there from restaurants and shopping, to sleigh rides and skiing, not to mention that you are surrounded by gorgeous mountains! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would, without a doubt, recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great get away or family vacation! Thank you so much to Great Western Lodging for an incredible stay!

We enjoyed the condo. It was clean, compact and great for a couple. Breckenridge was within walking distance. We had great fishing in a nearby rown. Shopping was great.

beside the lift to get right on the slopes and you could ski back to it at
the end of the day. Would stay here again!
