This was our first trip to Breckenridge so we had no idea about the area where we would be staying. It was great and we have already decided if we go back , we will try our best to get in the same condo! Riverbed Lodge is very reasonably priced, very pretty with amazing views, and best of all is located right next to a ski lift that there was never a line to wait in to get on. We also loved the fact that there was a heated paring garage so you don't have to worry about scraping ice off of your windshield every time you get ready to go somewhere! Great Western staff was also very helpful in answering any questions we asked.

My family and I had a great time in Breckenridge and we picked a wonderful condo. It was roomy enough for everyone to relax and have a good time. Very clean, and it was nice that each family had their own bathroom. We will for sure be back!

We were greeted so warmly and the condo was so clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and the condo was equiped with everything we needed. It's in the perfect location and we'll definately go back.

For someone who wants to walk to a lift and be close to town (and at a reasonable rate) this condo fit my needs perfectly. Everyone in our group slept comfortably, we were able to find enough utensils in the kitchen to cook most of our meals and the heated garage kept everyone comfortable and safe before venturing out.
The only negatives: there were no hairdryers in any of the bathrooms (we were given one by request and had to return at checkout), no kitchen linens (and the dishwasher was out for 2 days, so we resorted to bath towels) and the owner's overuse of private storage and the lack of bedroom drawers made everyone resort to living out of their suitcases.
Other than those minor issues I'd stay here again if we visit Breck again. But, the "we really don't care" attitude of most of the Breck resort staff didn't make me anxious to return.Response from Great Western Lodging - 03/07/2012

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed.
I have forwarded the information on to the Owner of Riverbend #107 to note the need Hair Dryers in each of the bathrooms and that there is a significant lack of storage in the unit for guest’s clothes. Housekeeping has also been alerted about the kitchen linens and they will make sure all future guests have these items.
The note about the resort staff is especially upsetting and I am very sorry to hear about this. I will be in touch with the Breckenridge Ski Resort, as we are all in the customer service business together.

We stayed with 4 other friends in the condo and it was wonderful. We each had our own private bedroom and bath. The condo came with everything we needed from kitchen equipement to the DVD to watch movies. It was spacious enough to accomodate us all. The scenery was great and it was very relaxing.

Gw was great to work with and very accommodating. Riverbend condo's are in very good condition very comfortable and in a pretty good location as to the lifts. The maintenance people on site were very helpfull and polite.

I would highly recommend Riverbend 107 as well as Great Western Lodging. Everything we needed was furnished and the unit was very clean. You can walk to main street in about 5 to 10 minutes. Our whole family had a great time and we hope to stay there again on a future vacation. Great Western Lodging provided excellent service before and during our trip.

Riverbend 107 was the best condo we hav stayed at in Breckenridge. Three king size beds for three couples! Recently renovated with nice appointments. Ski to Snowflake lift right out the back door and ski home right to back door. Walk to town! Location, location, location!

I was really impressed with this unit. It was very refined and spacious. The bedrooms were big, the bathrooms were big, and the common space was a great place to hang out with friends. The finishes, decor, and furniture were all high end and new. This really was ski-in, ski-out at the snowflake chair. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives, which are that there was no private shuttle service like some other places so we had to rely on the public bus stops (not too bad because it was right next door), and the common hot tubs were nothing special (though there was a steam room and sauna that were nice).

This is our second time staying at the Riverband lodge and both experiences have exceeded expectations. The first year they even facilitated a florist to come into the apartment and decorate with flowers for my girlfriend who turned fiance that day. This second visit was with three couples and all had a great time. We highly recommend Riverbend for its great location to the lift and Main St.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at River Bend. The accomodations were just what we were hoping for - comfortable (ample size, arrangement, etc. except maybe Bedroom 3, which is noticeably smaller - understandably so - but has totally inadequate ventilation on summer evenings, even using multiple fans - and note that we had "normal" summer tempertatures during our stay). Our condo was well-appointed, conveniently equipped and well-kept, which we all appreciated and enjoyed. Nikita was a joy to work with - she happened to be the person on duty when we arrived - and she made our stay and the transaction both enjoyable and quite easy (this was my first experience renting a Colorado Ski Country condo, ever!). I just recieved GW's "thank you" note (with a discount offer!), and we do appreciate that. We'll probably be returning, certaintly by 2011, and pln on making our accommodation arrangements with Great Western Lodging. have a great Winter Season!

When you book a three bedroom condo, that sleeps eight. You take two cars
unless you have a 14 passenger van, right who does but you only get one
parking space with this condo go figure meaning you have to park in Brecks
overnight parking a mile and half away and it cost. Nice. PARKING is a
problem. -

The condo was beautifully decorated, clean and with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the big screen tv as well as having a tv in each room. And, it is just feet away from the lifts. The only thing we didn't like was the parking garage. There was not enough room to pull in and out without having to make corrections. We saw others having the same trouble.

We had a wonderful long weekend -- 3 guys, perfect with 3 separate bedrooms and 3 baths. Very nicely decorated -- comfy, had everything we needed. Perfect location next to Snowflake lift, on the lift immediately, and skiied home at the end of the day. Heated garage with easy access -- not tight quarters like most of the underground garages. I would definitely stay here again, including our next family ski trip.
