lake orion, miRelaxing, good location, nice accommodations and suited our stay
Left on 04/24/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We appreciate the two young ladies that worked in the office over the weekend, we had extra needs during our stay for administrative items - printing documents and faxing, and they were more than happy to assist us and allow us the time to come in and take care of these things. Also - they were both very friendly and pleasant to interact about our trip and make recommendations of things to do.

FloridaFantastic Ski in Ski Out Experience!
Left on 02/16/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We had a great time at this condo, loved the updates and decor. Renting through Great Western Lodging went smoothly. The location and ease to the Quicksilver lift and back to the condo is about as good as it gets. You ski downhill to the lift and ski downhill back to the condo. It is also just a short walk to enjoy all that Main Street has to offer. One parking space comes with the condo, we parked the other car at the Ice Rink Lot. The kitchen is really well stocked for cooking and there is a gas grill on the patio that worked well. There isn't a hair dryer at the condo but GWL has loaners. Bring quarters if you plan on doing laundry or storing your skis on the first floor. There is a humidifier at the condo that was great since we Floridians aren't used to the dry air! The only thing that would have made it better is if there was an instant hot water heater. The water tank probably isn't very large and so spacing of the showers is required to not be in frigid water! Other than that, we loved this place and would definitely stay again.

Dear Jnet -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I will follow up with maintenance about the water heater, as well as with the owner to see if a larger water heater for the unit is possible. Always good to see if items like this are possible!
Your review of your stay in Trails End #316 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Condo was very comfortable. The grill on the balcony was a plus. The outdoor hot tub was great at the end of the day, and the location was a minute walk to the Quicksilver.

Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012
This is the place to stay. If you want convenience thien this is your spot. We could not have asked for anything better other then a hot water heater that worked better. Better schedule showers though out the day and not back to back at the end of the day!!

Nice updated unit 316.
even though mother nature didn't cooperate with the first wk of Dec 2012, there was enough man made snow to make this a true ski in/out experience.
Bed was comfortable.
The TV in the bedroom doesn't have cable, it is only for Dvds or VHS tapes.
Kitchen was well stocked.
Hottub on site both an indoor and outdoor.Response from Great Western Lodging - 12/13/2012

I have contacted the Maintenance Department to check on the cable in the bedroom to see if something is not hooked up or if we need to contact the homeowner about running cable from the living room. This is great information to look into for our future guests!

The condo was clean, up to date, and right off the hill as described. The only issue we had was that the gas fireplace wouldn't light. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Te #316 was such a nice surprise. The docorations were nice, the floor plan was good, and the location was the best.
There was a grill on the patio and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook.
Bed was comfortable as well as couch/chairs - that was nice after a long day skiing.
Location was the best. Went out the back door of condo and there you were at the lift! Then ski right back to the back down when you're done for the day.
Also enjoyed the hot tub!!!
What a great stay. -

Indianaweekend trip to economical ski in ski out
Left on 01/20/2011 for a stay in January 2011
The building is convenient to the slopes and town. True ski in ski out. Nice Hot tubs. The unit itself is nice although a bit small for two adults and two teenagers for more then a couple days. Everything worked and it was nice to have gas grill on the porch. The only complaint we had was no hair dryer in the bathroom. A minor issue but with the luggage costs of todays travel with ski/board equipment, it seems most everywhere we stay has one so it is one less thing to pack. Overall a good value and great location.

This was the 5th time we stayed at Trails End and unit 316 was one of the best. The location of the condo is ideal because it offers ski in/ski out and easy walk to town. The unit was nicely furnished and up to date. The issues we had were that the heating unit in the bathroom did not work, and the hot water runs out very quickly. The gas fireplace stopped working one day, but Great Western was responsive and was able to remedy the problem temporarily until it could be fixed after our stay. Also, the coffee maker did not make good coffee and we had to modify the method significantly in order to enjoy a cup of coffee that actually had taste. Those were all fairly minor issues and did not interfere with our enjoyment of the vacation. We would rent this unit again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. we took our 2 young kids. It is walking distance to ski school and easy to get to the lifts. We walked over to look at the snow sculptures also. It was perfect for our family, but it would be crowded with 4 adults. There was no hairdryer. this is the first place I've stayed in years that didn't provide a hair dryer.

St. Louis, MO.Great location, but small for 4 people.
Left on 02/23/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Check-in and out from Great Western Lodging's office on Main St. was fast and easy. No problem finding the building and unit. Underground parking was reserved for owners, unfortunately, so we had to park outside, where our car got covered by 18" of snow during our stay. Ski in/ski out was nice, and only a short (5-10 min) walk to Main St. in Breckenridge for shoppong and dining. Condo was somewhat cramped for 2 adults in the bedroom and two teens on the sofa sleeper, but otherwise tastefully furnished and supplied with all necessary ammenities. Gas fireplace worked great to keep us warm. Next time we will probably rent a 2 bedroom unit in a building with available covered parking (for a winter ski trip).

Left on 06/06/2009 for a stay in March 2009
We spent spring break at this rental property (Trails End Lodge) for the 5th consecutive year, but the first time in this unit. It is located an easy walking distance to the children's ski school just out of the back door of the building, past the hot tubs. The unit appeared well-maintained. There were even some DVD's and VHS tapes for us to watch, which was a nice added touch. It appeared well-managed, as the overall quality of the unit was better than some other ones we've stayed at in this building, all of which, however, have been perfectly acceptable. The furnishings appeared new. We have 2 young children and we were perfectly comfortable. We definitely recommend this unit!

Raleigh, NCVery Nice Place, Great Location
Left on 06/04/2009 for a stay in March 2009
The condo is a small but well laid out place. Everything was clean and very comfortable, not much of a view, but the location could not be beat. Ski down to the lift, Ski in at the end of the day, perfect. Town is about a 3 minute walk away down the hill and across the road. Only issue was that the wireless did not have very good coverage and would only sporadically work in the kitchen, and would not work in any other room. But I was on vacation, so that minor inconvenience gave me the excuse not to check email, so you might see it as a good thing. All in all, I will be returning to this unit if I can.
