New Boston, TXAll of the amenities to make you feel right at home...
Left on 03/23/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We booked our spring break skiing vacation about three weeks before actually going, and we found this condo through Breckenridge Rentals at a fair price. We took four adults and four children, and it slept our families comfortably. We arrived in one van, so parking was not an issue. However, the vehicle did not fit inside of the garage, because of the low clearance.
The kitchen was fully stocked and equipped, the entertainment center was second to none, and the TV room off the main living room was perfect for our group. Plenty of videos and Dvds to choose from in the condo, there was never a need to rent a movie. The washer and dryer certainly came in handy on the trip, and the hot tub was used every night of our stay.
The stay was not without its issues, but most of them were resolved quickly. The wireless network did not work in our unit, but we were able to connect to the next door neighbor's network and conduct our business. A few electrical outlets were not functioning when we got there, but a quick call to maintenance resolved that challenge as well. We did run short of hot water a few times, but I am not sure if the issue is long showers or just too many showers at one time. Nothing a tankless water heater would not solve. The xBox system was not functioning, much to the chagrin of our younger children, so that might need to go into storage before the next group gets their hopes up about a gaming system. Make sure that you have enough paper goods to last your party three to four days when you check into the unit, because we did run short of paper towels and tissue paper.
Just a short van ride to Beaver Run Lift, and we parked our vehicle in the lot behind Beaver Run Condos. Made it convenient at the end of the day to ski to the van and load all of the gear up quickly. We never did take the shuttle, but it is only a short distance to the stop.
For the money, a great place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Village Point 319 in Breck!!

Dear Tim -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I will let the owner know about the Xbox and look at getting it put away until fixed, as well as will let the owner know about the recommendation for the tank less water heater. Good to hear the neighbor’s internet worked, we did have Comcast come out and get everything fixed for the unit, so all is good now with the free wireless internet.
Your review of your stay in Village Point #319 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Omaha, NEGreat Place, but Better Cummincation is Needed
Left on 03/22/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We enjoyed the condo. It is spacious in the living areas and the bedrooms are all a comfortable size. One drawback is that there are no bathrooms on the main level and two of the three are within bedrooms. But for the most part it is nice and very aesthetically pleasing. It is also less than a 10 minute walk to the ski slopes for snowboarders and about a 10 minute walk for those with ski boots on :-). Many in our group enjoyed the hot tub. The condo was also very well supplied with paper products, pots, pans, dishes and cooking spices.
We had some maintenance issues which were repaired. Two or three may have existed for a while, but the property management probably didn't know about them if no one reported them.
The biggest complaint we had was a lack of communication between Breckenridge, which booked our reservation, and the property management company. Breckenridge said there is wireless Internet, but there is no wireless Internet. Breckenridge never mentioned to us that we could only park two cars. Obviously, with a condo that fits 12 people there should be more than two car spots! The only way we found out is that I asked a few days before our arrival. Even still when Breckenridge looked into it they said there was free overflow parking. In reality, the overflow parking had a daily fee. Breckenridge also told us the condo sleeps 12, but they did not mention that one of the beds is a sofa bed. It is not very comfortable.
Overall it is a nice condo. Just ask the right questions, especailly if you are booking through Breckenridge.Response from Great Western Lodging - 03/25/2013

Dear Pat -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have wonderful news – Village Point #319 has wireless internet now! We are very excited that the owner has now installed free wireless internet into their unit!
The miscommunication though is upsetting and I will follow up with the company who booked your stay. The homeowners association of Village Point only allows 2 cars per unit and the overflow parking lot at the Ice Rink is $5/day to park. We are always striving to provide as much information on the properties to our guests prior to arrival, including even pictures of each individual unit, so it is very important to us that our travel partners forward this information on. Thank you for noting and I will be in touch with the booking company to make sure all is resolved for future guests.
Your review of your stay in Village Point #319 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

OmahaNice place but double check the details
Left on 02/25/2013 for a stay in February 2013
The condo was as it looked in the photos, but it had several items that were either incorrect or not clear when we booked thru Breckenridge Resorts.
Pros - The condo was very nice, clean, nice linens and towels, great hot tub, Tv's in most rooms, gas fireplace, surround sound in living room, kitchen was good size and had all the plates, cups, pans, tableware, etc. that we needed. We had a couple of minor maintenance items that they took care of quickly.
Cons - This is a 12 person condo - we had 3 vehicles - you can only park 2 of them at the condo. The third had to be parked at a public parking lot about a 1/3 of a mile away and cost $5/day.
We were also told we would have wifi/internet - but that was not the case.
There are 3 bathrooms, 2 are with bedrooms, leaving only one that has 'public' access, and it is in the basement - there are no facilities on the main floor.
I think most of the mis-communication came because we booked thru a third party - so it is best to contact the rental management company directly and don't assume anything.Response from Great Western Lodging - 03/06/2013

Location was awesome walking distance to the slopes and the bars. Everything was in great condition. Only parking for 2 cars, but that wasn't an issue for us. Surround system was clutch, and everyone at the rental office was nice. Good value if you get a big group (we had 12). I'll definitely use them again if I go back. Had a great stay.

We loved our rental. Plenty of room, plenty of hot water.
The only issues we had were that the fire alarms went off at 5 am one morning for no reason and the dishwasher did not clean well. Minor annoyances.Response from Great Western Lodging - 12/31/2012

Dear Dan -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have contacted both the Owner of the unit and the Maintenance Department about the dishwasher not cleaning well to see if something needs to be fixed or replaced to get everything clean. That is very strange about the fire alarms in the unit going off for no reason as well, so we will look into that situation to make sure it does not occur again.

Rockville, MDLovely stay but bunks are not for teens
Left on 08/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We had a large groups and put the teenagers in the room with bunks. There was not enough headroom to sit up in either top or bottom bunks. The rest of us were comfortable but were sometimes woken up at night by a mystery noise(maybe gutters overflowing). The condo was lovely but the carpets were do for a cleaning and the blinds were broken. The kitchen had everything that we needed.

I have forwarded this on to the Homeowner to note the issues with the bunks beds and the need for a thorough carpet clean, as well as the maintenance department to investigate the blinds and see if they can be fixed or if they need to be replaced.

Left on 01/25/2012 for a stay in January 2012
The condo was very convenient to downtown and the slopes. It is an end unit so it was very private and quiet. We really enjoyed the private hot tub in the evening after a long day of skiing. It has a garage which was nice to keep one of the cars but also gave us a place to store our ski equipment overnight.
The condo itself was clean, well kept and had everything you would need. It is also large enough with 4 bedrooms to give everyone some space.
There were only a few items that we had to work through, but none would prevent me from renting the unit again. We reported them so they should be fixed for the next guest. Light bulbs had blown, oven needed to be cleaned, gas grill wouldn't start and hot water tank was beginning to leak.Response from Great Western Lodging - 02/08/2012

Service from Great Western was excellent.
The home (condo) was perfect and in perfect shape on the day of arrival. Had everything we needed.
Location was perfect; close to everything but not
in the middle of the crowds, or congested areas.
BEST: Location, hottub, lay-out of condo, amenities. LEAST: condo lacked heat output in a couple of sleeping rooms

we had 3 families in this townhome. 12 total people. it was tight, but for the price, it was the best place we've stayed at between Vail, Aspen, Snowbird and Breckenridge. We also loved the location with a 10 min or less walk to the slopes, and 10 mins into town. Overall, we really liked it and would go back.

We attended a wedding in Breck, so family from CT and MA were flying
out too, and we all thought the townhouse was a much nicer option
than hotel rooms. It was comfortable, beautiful, and spacious. There
was more than enough room and the extras (playstation, videos...)
kept the kids and adults alike entertained. We wish we were there
longer, and agreed to meet there again next year! -

Hamburg, PAGreat Townhouse for a Group or Big Family!
Left on 12/02/2008 for a stay in March 2008
My husband and I looked and looked for accommodations for our destination wedding in CO. We wanted to keep everyone together but didn't want to stay in a hotel. I looked online and saw good rates from Great Western Lodging, I called to see what they had available and Cole was able to help me out! We had friends in Village Point 319 and family in Village Point 309. We stayed a little closer to the slopes at Powderhorn A204 but a quick walk (less than a 1/2 mile) to the Townhouses. This worked out GREAT since the townhouses were right across from each other! I enjoyed the walk to town but for those that didn't there was a bus stop nearby.
We were told at check in that there was a problem with the hot tub in one of the units but was reimbursed as noted in the agreement, they were able to get it working a few days before we left.
309 was recently remodeled before our arrival and was beautifully decorated and lots of extras. 5 couples stayed in this unit, so everyone had a room with a bed since we used the "den". Great big dinning table too.
319 was very nice too and was able to accommodate more people with two sets of bunks in one of the rooms, great for the kids and singles that made it out! Both of the townhouses had garages which were great for ski/board storage and washers/dryers to wash towels.
The Powderhorn A204 condo was a short walk over the bridge to the slopes. This unit was nicely decorated with a Western theme. Powderhorn units had ski/board storage right outside the door.
Everyone had a great time! I am grateful for Cole's help in finding a place for everyone to stay! I'm ready to go back and would definitely recommend these units and the staff at Great Western Lodging!
