Breckenridge Travel Resources
One of the highest ski towns in the country, Breckenridge is a winter wonderland at 9,000 feet above ski level. The four peaks' slopes extend all the way down into the town, and the lifts service acres of terrain for skiers of all levels. For those who prefer lower grade winter fun, Breckenridge has plenty of options for non skiers. Snowshoeing trails and dogsled rides take visitors to some of the most breathtaking views imaginable. Back in town, luxury awaits: Breckenridge offers great spas, shopping and comfortable accommodations - no matter how adventurous your outdoor pursuits.
Fortunately, Breckenridge doesn't disappear when the snow melts. The mountain town may have even more opportunities to play outside in the summer than it does in the winter. Hit the links at the only municipally-owned Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, take in the scenery from horseback, or just go for a hike. Breckenridge has over 300 sunny days a year, so you can't miss if you want to go and enjoy the outdoors.

The historic Main Street is worth the trip by itself, with galleries, shops and restaurants that are fun both inside and out.
