This vacation home is located in the historic Gaslight District of Breckenridge at the end of a cul-de-sac on Highland Terrace just above Harris Street and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Highland Terrace is within walking distance to Carter Park where there is a sledding hill, dog park and playground.

This beautiful 1,280 square foot home features a nice cozy living area with wood-burning red brick fireplace and an open concept design allowing for the larger parties to spend quality time together. Savor a family movie night on the flat screen TV in the living room with comfortable seating and the warmth of the wood-burning firepl...ace.

The suitably stocked kitchen features all the necessary appliances to enjoy a home cooked meal from the comfort of your vacation home. Take a seat for a quick grab-n-go meal at the breakfast bar for three or get personal at the dining table for six. With the kitchen and seating set-up, cooking and dining is a breeze in one cozy location.

The large master bedroom is a comfortable King bed, ski themed with wood furniture and a TV. The second bedroom is mountain inspired with a King bed that is encased in traditional quilted bedding. The third bedroom is equipped with two Twin beds and an attached private bathroom. In case you need additional sleeping space, there is a Queen sofa sleeper in the house that completes the house to sleep eight people.

Other amenities included in the house are a full-size washer and dryer, wireless high speed internet, private outdoor hot tub, and a one car garage. The interior is obviously a selling point but one cannot forget the large wooden deck with ample outdoor seating, a barbeque grill and views of the Breckenridge Ski Areas. This house is also located just three blocks to a Breckenridge Free Ride shuttle stop at the corner of Washington and French Street and five blocks from Historic Main Street. Enjoy easy access to restaurants, shopping and nightlife.   Have you ever been to a rental house and found that thing like cable/satellite didn't work, a funky smell, beds uncomfortable? This is not that place! We have stayed at many rental houses over the years and found that this house met all of our expectations. Everything worked. I would stay here again.

  In a quiet hillside cul-de-sac, 3 storys, 3 BR/2bathrooms, you'll be very comfortable and everything works, including hot tub and grill on deck with views of Peak 8 to Quandary. A few blocks from Main Street, you can hike or bike on numerous trails from the front door.
  (The review about the ground floor heater: it works, but you have to figure it out: very toasty!)

  The house was cold on arrival and took two days to heat up. The third bedroom was referred to as the dungeon because it never heated up. The toilet upstairs was blocked. The electrics were suspect offering sparks when plugging an item in. My hair dryer blew up. The appliances were antiquated. The coffe machine did not work and the pot again was broken. The property was tired. During our stay we uncovered a host of cracked glasses ....dangerous. A broken glass candle and the upstairs light was hanging from the ceiling.
  
  on a positive note we laughed at how this was the worst accomodation we had stayed in in Breckenridge!

This unit is an older unit in the Historic District and as advertised as on older quaint unit. We did work with the guest very closely to resolve the heating and electrical issues and we able to resolve the problems. Our units are individually owned and work tirelessly with our owners to continually update and upgrade their units. Please understand that not everybody is always happy with everything involving their stay but we are always available to work with all of our guests to ensure the best experience possible.
