This Is the Second review I post... wonder who is removing it!!
Everything was broken...the Ice maker had duct tape all over it holding the broken parts in place, oven wold not heat more then 100 degrees, two of the heating elements on the cooktop did not work, not enough pot,pans,forks or storage containers. Washing machine was not working and missing knobs. Vacuum cleaner was from the 1940's are blew dirt out! I could go on forever! Bottom line we Spent $4800.00 + on this house and nothing was as described. Ski Country said owners offered $ 400.00 refund... still haven't seen it and that does not cover the 40 mile commute to the closest wash-a-teria. They also promised to repair everything that was Broken... As soon as we left!

I'm sorry that you had so much trouble during your stay. I know there were an unusual number of issues with your stay and do feel like we made every possible effort to take care of you during your stay, as well as offer you the refund.
The appliance issues were ones we could usually have fixed same day, but by the time we were notified of them on Christmas Eve, we were unable to have them repaired til after the holiday. Due to the fact that you were without a laundry facility, we did also offer to do your laundry for you daily, which you declined. There are laundromat facilities here in Breckenridge as well, so I do not know why there was a 40 minute commute. The last we spoke, we offered the refund and you refused in order to seek additional compensation from the travel agent. In order to ensure their review integrity, FlipKey also does not provide Property Managers with the ability to remove posts, so I would not know what happened to any previous review.
I do apologize for the problems we ran into during your stay. As a majority of our reviews do show, they are unusual. I do feel as though we made every effort to be accomodating and resolve them.

First, Debbie handled our reservations without any hitches. Second, she fielded many questions by me with facts and suggestions that helped our family make decisions on timing our plans while in Breck. 227 PF was great (thanks Deb!), newly remodeled, close to the transit stop, and well equipped. We rented our skis at Ski Country for the first time. The equipment was fairly new, the staff fitted us very well. Overall, this latest visit (our 7th in Breck) was by far the best. Many thanks to Ski Country and staff for your professional demeanor and courteous support

Enjoyed our stay at PF227 over Christmas 2009. The unit was large and comfortable with some recent updates and fresh paint. Carpet is a bit dated, dining table had an annoying wobble, and living room love seat back support appeared to be broken, but overall unit was generally well maintained. Would consider staying in same unit again given its convenient location to Ski Hill Road and Nordic Center.
