This was our second time at this home and we came back because we enjoyed it the first time. The place was just as great this year! I would like to recommend a few amenities: towel hooks in the lower level bathroom (4 people use that bathroom, but there is nowhere to hang your towel), recycling container in the garage (preferably something that has dividers that accommodate Breckenridge's recycling system), and literature that explains the recycling system (e.g. all materials are sorted, glass by color, plastics by #, etc.). Thank you!

Sugarland, TX, United StatesNoe Review of Park Forest Property
Left on 04/01/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the duplex which is in an excellent location. The place was clean and nice and close to the shuttle bus stop providing a very short ride to Peak 8. However, given the price to stay there, our expectation was to see more "high-end" decor and appliances in which the place fell a little short. One example is the cheap kitchen faucet/sprayer that was used a lot because we cooked a number of meals during our stay. Also, granite counter tops and better quality appliances would have been nice to have. Finally, the toilet paper provided was so cheap that we immediately ran to the store to buy our own. Overall the stay was fine and provided us with a nice place in a great location for a family that likes to ski. Improvement on some of the things mentioned above would increase the probability of us providing a very positive recommendation.

We had a great stay in this chalet, which was well equiped, and really well located for the bus to peak 7 and 8. I would definately recommend it to others.

Our group of 6 stayed at this house and it couldn't have been better. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Very close to a shuttle stop to take you right to peak 7&8. Garage spot with ski storage.....fully stocked kitchen(except for food) for stay at home meals.....great hot tub.....extra humidifiers for almost every room. Again, I couldn't be happier with the stay.

United StatesNice Place, wrong location
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Back in the day (early 90's), Ski Hill Road was a small, neighborhood road leading to the base of Peak 8. Today, that same road feeds a mega-complex and entertainment center. Any house along this trail is hit with a barrage of delivery trucks and other traffic going to and from. The property was very nice, but is located right along this now crowded, busy road.
If the street noise is not a problem, the property is otherwise excellent.Response from Summit Mountain Rentals - 08/15/2012

We enjoyed having you and family back in Breckenridge. We are glad to hear that the unit itself was excellent, as owners have furnished it with many upgrades. The house is located just off Ski Hill Road giving it a fantastic close access to the Free Ride shuttle stop right to Peak 8 or to Main Street Breckenridge. We hope to see you back soon!

Chicago, IL, United StatesGreat space, recycling could be improved
Left on 03/12/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Our entire group loved the space! There was quite a bit more there than I expected, in terms of cookware (baking dishes) and extra blankets and pillows. I was disappointed that recycling was not available at the property, but appreciated that the rental packet included directions to the recycling facility. In the future, you should add a brochure or handout of sorts that details the recycling system. I live in a city with single stream recycling so I was surprised when I arrived at the recycling center that waste was sorted down to the plastic type and glass color. It took some time to sort through our recyclables to get everything into the correct bin. I would have liked to have known this in advance. Finally, to go a step further, Summit Rental could supply bins in the garage for sorted recycling. A fee could be applied to renters who do not empty the bins before their departure.
Thanks for a great stay! -

I couldn't have been happier with our Park Forest condo. Everyone was great as we were going through the process - from lift tickets to where to eat the night we got into town. Everything was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the hot tub clean and hot. All in all a very good experience!

Blue Springs, MOPark Forest 32 Ski Trip Condo
Left on 04/15/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This was a great place to stay for a winter ski trip; close to the bus stops, only a couple minutes from Peak 8 base, and a mile from downtown. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing and its convenient location next to the kitchen window. We had 12 people in our group and had room for the four grandkids and adults. One drawback; the futon in the third "bedroom" was not very comfortable and no privacy for this bedroom. People sleeping on the futon are awakened by the early activity in the kitchen/living room area. Parking is limited to two vehicles; one in driveway and a small space opposite the condo. Beautiful view of the mountains from the living room. Overall, a great place to stay.

Thank you for taking time to post a review of your stay at the Park Forest townhouse. We appreciate your feedback. The futon is actually located in the family room den with a brand new 55" LCD TV and a gas fireplace. There are three bedrooms in the townhouse - king master upstairs, queen bedroom downstairs and a third bedroom with two Captain's bunk beds. We hope you will return and stay with us again at the Park Forest townhouse.

Ashville, NCExcellent home and location
Left on 02/28/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We had a large group of adults (8 to 11) who all stayed very comfortably in this home. There was enough space to spread out. The kitchen was equipped better than other places we have stayed (read: big coffee mugs!) and the location was very convenient to the slopes, bus stops and the Nordic Center for those in the group who weren't downhill skiing.
Overall great place and we will definitely be back! -

This property worked out wonderfully for me and 7 other friends. Just a bit of traffic noise off Ski Hill Road, but loved the short walk to the free shuttle into town. Good space, very clean, nicely decorated.
