Our group of 13 greatly enjoyed our stay at Rubywood. We have rented homes in many locations and have never stayed in a place as beautifully furnished and decorated, truly unusual in a rental property. In addition we have never dealt with a rental company as responsive and professional as Paragon Lodging. The view was spectacular, the shuttle was convenient, the kitchen was a dream to work in. The younger members of our group used the hot tub daily and the media room got a workout as well. The beds were all comfortable although it was a bit warm and noisy in the loft area. Our group would definitely return.

We rented Rubywood to work as a venue for our destination mountain wedding, as well as lodging for the immediate family. It turned out to be the perfect pick and completely complimented the look and feel of a mountain celebration. I looked at listings for several beautiful luxury homes, but I chose Rubywood because of the natural flagstone patio for our outdoor ceremony (as opposed to a deck),the spectacular view, and the mountain decor with lots of stone and exposed timbers. Also the large open gourmet kitchen worked fabulously for hosting our rehearsal dinner, as well as a hot cocoa/cider bar after our wedding. Rubywood's size/layout worked great for our 50 or so guests and all were impressed. We ended up having a blizzard on the wedding day, and Paragon was quick to keep our driveway and walkways blown out.
In addition to being the perfect venue for a special event, we also loved the home for our post-wedding family time. The heated stone floor made it so comfortable, and sunshine poured in the wall of windows with the backdrop of a gorgeous view. The outdoor hot tub location was charming. The master bathroom with the glass shower overlooking the mountains was a favorite extra. It couldn't have been a better mix of rustic beauty and understated luxury.
Paragon was easy to work with, and our events went smoothly. Our only glitch was the internet being down throughout our stay. I dream of being able to return to rubywood again. It is a very special place....I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't agree. -

The service we received from Paragon Lodging was extremely professional and accomadating. We had toured several homes on our previous trip and Rubywood was definitely our first choice. We wanted a unique, private home with a wonderful view of the mountains and ski areas. The home was very clean and everything we needed was provided.We absolutely loved staying at the home and enjoyed all the many amenities.The kitchen and media room were to die for, we particularly enjoyed the extensive movie library to watch on the extremely large screen. We loved the location as it was very scenic and private, but someone that wanted to be close to town might not enjoy the drive and distance from town. It was only about 15 monutes even with the nightly snow fall that we had during our stay.The only thing that might be a problem for some guests in the winter is the narrow steep drive that can be a little hard to navigate in the winter. The snow removal service provided by Paragon was very prompt and efficient and was needed almost every day during our stay. We would highly reccomend Paragon and are planning on staying at Rubywood again in the future.
