lincoln, neWorst condo stay in 30 years
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We had to clean one of the bathrooms upon arrival. stair rail was broken. carpets are dirty and stained. couch was also dirty. patio doors upstairs did not work properly along with screen door. one of the lower level patio doors did not open at all. grill was dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. we where unable to use it. We reported all this to Condo Management office and the only thing they did was repair the stair rail.Layout of condo was great. But it has not been maintained. To bad it could be a really nice place.

Dear L.Roberts -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have forwarded this on to our Maintenance Department to make sure the patio doors are all fixed for the future guests, as well as Housekeeping to ensure that everything is cleaned thoroughly – bathrooms, carpets, couch, grill, etc.. The good news is that the unit will be undergoing a complete deep clean this fall, so that all these items are taken care of before the winter season.
Your review of your stay in One Breckenridge Place #31 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Wynnewood PAThis house needs attention
Left on 07/31/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The location of One Breck Place is amazing. The unit needs help. We arrived to find a toilet leaking (that took 2 days to fix). The kitchen sink leaked, the stairs' handrail was broken, the kitchen was missing amenities like oven mitt, a home that sleeps 6 - 8 had seating for 2 outside on the deck. Any one of these problems would not have distracted from the vacation but the accumulation of several problems was extremely disruptive.

I have forwarded this on to our Maintenance Department to make sure the leaks and handrail are all fixed for the future guests, as well as Housekeeping to ensure that the kitchen is fully stocked. The Homeowner has been contacted about the need for additional seating on the deck, as that would be really nice during these nice summer days.

Melanie
Atlanta, GeorgiaGood Location for Peak 9 area
Left on 01/09/2011 for a stay in January 2011
Our family of 8 stayed over New Years 2011. The lodging folks were easy to work with, and nice to accommodate us when there was a mix up in the reservation (the owner & this company rented out the same condo to different parties). So, we were given this unit as the resolution. While the set up wasn't as perfect as we wanted (the 3rd bedroom had 2 twins and a loft area had 1 twin and a futon -- we were trying to rent a unit where the 3rd bedroom had with a double/twin captain bunk and queen, with no loft), it worked out fine.
The location of the unit was close to the free complex hot tub and heated pool, so we went there at least twice. The unit is in the back of the complex, so it is further off the main street, but it was close enough to walk to the Quicksilver lift and ski schools, so we didn't mind (everything is relatively close anyway).
The unit was spacious, so we never felt like we were all on top of each other -- the dining table sat 8 easily, the L-shaped couch was large, and the kitchen bar had chairs as well. The kitchen was a bit small for more than 2 people to be there at once, but it wasn't bad at all.
This unit had several things the rental agreement said it didn't have (which was very nice, but we had bought these things & didn't need them) -- hair dryer, coffee filters, salt & pepper, and laundry detergent. The unit also provided lots of board games, some legos, a DVD player, and a few movies, which the kids really enjoyed in the evenings.
The garage is supposed to be heated, but we didn't experience that -- take your boots off outside, but bring them just inside the door to dry well overnight. It was large enough to accommodate our Expedition, just not much room to move around after it was in - lol.
Our biggest complaints are 1) the lack of lighting (there are no overhead lights in any of the bedrooms, and the lamps are pitifully cheap and breaking). When we changed the light bulbs to higher wattage, they just burned back down to the dimmer light (i.e., the 3-way lamps burned out the highest wattage). The lamp in the master just stayed leaning sideways because it was broken. There were also a couple of light bulbs out in the high ceiling as well. (Note that the lighting in the main living areas was great) 2) The cheapness of the furniture and dishes used in an otherwise nice unit. The plates were those really cheap, plain white style, with the bowls so tiny it was hard to enjoy a bowl of oatmeal or cereal. The drawers in all the furniture were so bad that if you got them out, they either flew out of the dresser or you had to budge them back and forth using both hands.
Overall the condo was nice -- spacious for our large family, enough goodies for keeping the kids busy, and convenient location for the slopes, ski rentals, & ski school. We would recommend, but will try another unit next time (probably one with a hot tub on the back deck!).
