Washington DC, District of ColumbiaPeaceful Sleep and Walking Distance to the Lifts
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Six of us stayed at here last week. We dealt directly with the owners, and they were extremely flexible with check-in and check-out.
The house is not a luxury apartment by all means. Its a cozy apartment, with everything you can possibly need for your weekend skiing/snowboarding: comfortable beds, fireplace for late night board gaming, and the best part of all... walking distance to the lifts. You can walk 10 minutes to the bus stop that will take you there, or you can walk 15 minutes to the lift yourself... we walked to the lift. The main advantage is avoiding to drive, pay for parking, and everybody can go home whenever they want.
If you have questions, feel free to contact me.
I'll definitely rent this apartment next time I go to Breckenridge. -

CTLate Christmas in the Mountains
Left on 11/18/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Our family is spread out between Ct-al-co. We chose Breckenridge as our family reunion location. After reading all the excellent reviews of this property, we decided to stay for 3 nights. What a beautiful, well maintained home. The views were spectacular and the house fit our needs perfectly. The owner is the most pleasant person to deal with and the price was very reasonable for the property. Close enough to town and gondola by car. Top notch!

Cypress, TexasPerfect house for family getaway with panoramic view of the moun
Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We, a family of four, stayed at this house in late June 2012. We really enjoyed our stay here and will endeavor to return when we get a chance. The house is well equiped, with flat screen Tv's seemingly everywhere, and with very comfortable furniture - could not get my son to budge from the recliner next to the fireplace. I can't think of anything that we needed that was not provided for and everything was clean and well maintained. The view from the main balcony, which stretches the full legth of the house, is magnificent with a full panormaic view of the Breckenridge ski slopes and mountain peaks. The house is in a quiet, easy to find and access location and only minutes from a supermarket and the downtown area.

The house was in a great location and the views stunning -It is very comfortable and was great for us and our 2 adult children. The internet was spotty at times and we had a hard time getting a comfort level in the sleep comfort beds. I would stay again and reccommend for others. The weather was perfect.

Austin, TxPerfect base for a family of explorers
Left on 09/15/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This was our first trip to Colorado, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of accommodation. The house is well-equipped and spacious, and the perfect base from which to explore Summit county. We particularly enjoyed grilling or enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck - the view is incredible. We have two small children, and even though the bedrooms are downstairs the thick carpets meant that I was never worried about someone taking a tumble.

This mountain vacation home is one of the best ones we have ever stayed in during our many years of traveling. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. Everything was so well stocked and we couldn't think of one thing we were missing. Buff was wonderful to work with. He always answered my e-mails promptly and was very patient with all of my questions -- he provided great customer service! Please don't hesitate to rent this wonderful vacation home. While visiting, make sure to hike Shrine Mountain and take a whitewater rafting trip with aVa in Brown's Canyon (ask for Pepto for a guide). Best vacation ever!

Left on 01/22/2011 for a stay in December 2010
From our first enquiry Buff was a pleasure to deal with and did all she could to make everything easy for us. We were given great recommendations for things to do and places to eat which were really helpful.
The house is set just outside the main hub of the town so is very peaceful and has the most spectacular views which we enjoyed most from the hot tub!
It was extremely well equipped with a kitchen that had everything you needed to prepare a gourmet dinner. The DVD and book library were a thoughtful touch as were the board games and binoculars.
Would love to return in the future and would definitely recommend to others. -

The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. The decor, ambiance, and furnishings made us feel completely at home. It exceeded our expectations and was the best rental of this type that we have ever had.

Kansas CityOutstand Summer Stay in Breckenridge
Left on 08/03/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We were a group of four women getting together for a reunion trip as we all were sorority sisters in college. We found Buff's home very clean, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the recliners and the hot tub. Breckenridge was wonderful, as usual, with lots of activities and great restaurants. We hiked and rented bikes and biked to Dillon Lake which was beautiful. Would like to visit again!

Left on 07/02/2010 for a stay in June 2010
The home was clean and ready when we arrived. Had no trouble finding it or getting in. Can't think of anything lacking that we needed or wanted during our time there.
My only (slight) disappointment was, even though there are supposed to be a couple hiking trails near the home, we never found them. We always drove to go walking or hiking.
Response from Buff Toulon - 07/07/2010
Owner
We're so very sorry that you couldn't find the trails. There are two trails that begin right at the road where CR451 meets our road CR452. We will leave a map of these in the house when we're next there. The lower flume trail runs right through our lot at the bottom of our hill. If we can make a good map of these, we'll post them to our website. Thank you for sharing this information.

The home and location were good for us. We all had problems with the sleep number beds. Not a good idea for us. Our children were much more comfortable on regular mattress. All kitchen supplies wre labeled and easy to use.
Response from Buff Toulon - 07/01/2010
Owner
We're so very sorry to hear you had trouble with the Sleep number beds and would like to know what problem you had so we can help future guests who may have any difficulty. We've never heard this expressed before but perhaps we can give better guidance on how to use them. We have used Sleep numbers in our own home for years and love them. We have always thought these were a great solution for all different sleep needs, as they enable two people to share equal comfort whether they need firm or soft mattress (or something in between.) We definitely encourage all our guests to make suggestions to us that will make their future visits more enjoyable. Every dollar we earn from this house is put directly back into improvements and maintenance. While it is lovely to receive each guest's nice reviews, we are truly interested in what we can do to improve your experience so you'll return in the future.

What a spectacular view! Of course, the house was lovely and spacious, with comfortable beds and furniture. The hot tub and the gas fireplace were perfect for the chilly autumn nights. But, oh what a view! That was my favorite part of the stay - sipping wine from the recliner placed in front of the huge windows facing the ski mountain.

We stayed at Buff's home in Breckenridge for Christmas, 2009. We loved the home and found it to be a great place for a winter ski get-away. The radiant heat made the temperatures very comfortable, and the hot tub being just a few steps out the door was really nice. The bedrooms were comfortable and plenty big enough for us for a weeks stay. The kitchen was very nice and stocked w/everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner. The heated garage was really nice when coming home from a long day on the slopes, as was the large ski room where we could store all our gear.

From years of renting many vacation properties, this one is truly the best one we have ever found. The house is perfect in every way. We spent four wonderful summers at this property. We love to cook and never had a problem making "big" meals as everything is there. The town offers many wonderful restaurants, the Beckenridge Music Fesitval, great hiking. Only family commitments have kept us from getting back as often as we would like
