The traditional mountain cabin - think thick log construction and furniture and elk horn chandeliers - gets an upgrade at Barton Cabin. This spacious, 2,500-square-foot Breckenridge vacation home is decked out in rustic furniture, vaulted ceilings and high-end finishes.
Located just a 5 minute drive from the ski gondola and Breckenridge's Main Street, this home offers a gorgeous mountain setting with a convenient location. And for après-ski you'll have plenty of ways to enjoy this property: Three fireplaces (including one that's a traditional wood-burning fireplace) means there's ample opportunity to gather family and friends for h...ot chocolate and conversation. Renew old rivalries with friends or family on the pristine, red-felt pool table, or enjoy the deck with a private hot tub that indulges your need for a rejuvenating soak.
In between all the fun, be sure to stop and admire the brilliant views of ski slopes and the surrounding Colorado landscape.Read more

Our stay at Barton Cabin was fantastic. It's close to downtown Breckenridge and large enough for the family to play and be noisy without anyone noticing. It included all the amenities of home and a fantastic wood burning stove/fireplace that kept us warm on those sub-zero mornings. Easy check-in and check-out.

I had friends visiting from australia for the holidays. They wanted their 8 & 10 yo boys to enjoy a "Western" ski experience. Living in CT, it was up to me to make it happen.
I literally spent an entire weekend looking at 100's of rentals in Colorado, Utah & Lake Tahoe. Finding the right balance between number bedrooms, location, cost, look & feel. Eventually I found the Barton Cabin & when I did, I knew I'd found the right mix of all. The owners had exquisite taste in furnishing the cabin with a real western/mountain feel. Check out the bed frames - just beautiful! Its location made access to the town of Breckenridge & lifts incredibly easy. Access to Vail, Keystone, Copper & Abasin is also incredibly easy. The drive from Denver airport was just under 90 mins and amounted to a couple of turns - a snap even if the weather is foul. One of the most magnificent aspects of the Cabin is the view of the mountains. In fact, on New Year's Eve we sat comfortably on the couch, with a warm fire in the wood burning stove as we watched the fireworks display at Breckenridge with a totally unobstructed view. A million $ view indeed!
The VisitBreck people were great to deal with and its location in a ski shop made rental of gear for my guests easy & a 1 stop process. The office is located a couple of hundred feet from the Gonadal on one side and the food & liquor stores on the other!
The cabin was clean and well stocked. The dishes were great quality & carried through with the western/mountain theme which made our New Years Eve dinner extra special. On the day of our departure the Hot Tub guy came by to drain and clean the tub for the next group which made me feel good that we got a super clean tub too!
With all the little touches you get the feeling that the owners really love & use their place vs most other rental properties. I'd rent it again & highly recommend it. My friends visiting from australia were thrilled, it was beyond their expectations.
Enjoy your stay!
