As seen in New York Magazine, Glenwild Mountain Home is a luxurious 5 star home located on Peak 8 in the historic town and mountain resort of Breckenridge, CO. Ideal for gatherings of family and friends or a corporate retreat, this exquisite home has plenty of space for families and groups to entertain, relax and socialize. This 4 bedroom house sleeps up to 16 people and is nestled among pine trees with views of the slopes and is 400' to the Peak 8 Base. Amenities include four fireplaces, brand new Bullfrog hot tub, and state of the art theater room which is wired for gaming and streaming.

Breckenridge is a year round resort with skiin...g and riding, as well as nordic trails, sled rides and more in the winter. Summer has even more activities including road and trail biking, hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, fishing and golf. The Peak 8 Fun Park with alpine slide, mountain biking terrain, and other attractions is steps away from Glenwild Mountain Retreat.

Glenwild Mountain Retreat offers European elegance combined with Rocky Mountain ambiance. The rich wood finishes, thick granite counters and massive stone fireplaces give this home a timeless appeal.

Featuring 4 bedrooms (3 with en suite baths) this house comfortably sleeps up to 16 people. Four stone fireplaces and in-floor radiant heat make for a cozy retreat after a day enjoying the outdoor activities that Summit County has to offer. Entertainment amenities include a full home audio system, free wireless internet, a media room and flat screen hd tv's throughout the home.

The lower level of the house includes an entertainment area consisting of a family room with fireplace and day bed which converts to king size bed, media/theatre room with huge screen, game table, and full wet bar. Also on the lower level is an en suite master bedroom with large walk-in closet, plus the kids' bunk room which sleeps 6 and has its own full bathroom. From the lower level you can walk out to a flagstone terrace to soak in the custom made hot tub, enjoy the view or start a hike to local trails.

The main level includes a gourmet kitchen with slab granite countertops, hammered copper sinks, and upscale appliances. The kitchen sitting nook seats 6. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and includes a table that seats 10 plus bar seating for another 4. The dining area opens out to a spacious deck with built in gas grill. The living room is luxurious - sit in front of a Vail stacked stone fireplace and savor fantastic views of the mountains and woods through floor to ceiling windows.

Upstairs are two en suite master bedrooms, both with king size beds, thermostatted fireplaces, walk-in closets, and views of Peak 8. The primary master also has a flat screen TV, a separate jetted tub, and double steam shower.

The home is located in the Glenwild subdivision just off Ski Hill Road on Peak 8. It is a very private setting on a cul-de-sac shared with only 1 other home. Walk 400 yards to Peak lifts and ski home at the end of the day. Catch the free shuttle bus just steps from the house to get to town.

  Recently stayed at the house with a big group and we had a terrific stay. The house is high end in every way and had plenty of space for us all. We did a lot of cooking and lounging but it was also a short walk to the lifts so a perfect mix.

  This fabulous home is an easy walk to the peak of base 8 and a quick drive into town. Wonderful, homey feeling with all the extras you dream of. There is a great theater room (or "man cave"), 2 dishwashers, a kitchen filled with high end appliances, and private luxery bedrooms with their own bathrooms - have you ever seen toe warmers in a bathroom? Plenty of room for people to hang out but also space for privacy. This home topped off our awesome family weekend in Breckenridge!

  The entire family came, grandchildren too, and we had a very special Christmas holiday ! Lori's home is so beautiful and equipped with every special feature imaginable. The heated floors keep all of us cozy everywhere, but especially in the kitchen where we ended up spending a lot of fun times cooking and visiting together. The downstairs provided the perfect atmosphere for our grandboys (5 and 8 years old) who, when not skiing, played games, watched Christmas videos, and basically claimed it as their own space. They loved the big log beds and must have tried them all. This is a marvelos home, location, views, quiet, and beauty make it a special retreat for any visitors. We look forward to returning. Thank you so much !

  We stayed at the Glenwild house in November and loved every minute of it. We had 10 in our group and it easily accommodated everyone. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is top notch and the whole house is great for entertaining. There is something for everyone. They just put in a new hot tub, there are tv's everywhere and a huge tv in the movie room. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The house is filled with extras and lots of technology. Most importantly it was clean, someone was close by in case we needed them and it was an easy transaction. We absolutely loved it and will definitely stay again.
