Description from the manager
Alpine Retreat is a beautiful 2400 sq. ft., 4 bedroom + loft, 3 bath home secluded in the woods above Breckenridge. It sleeps up to 18 people and a lock off downstairs which includes one of the bedrooms, baths and a kitchen and living room of it's own. It has 1.2 acres of land and is surrounded by National Forest with trail access. There is a fire pit in the back for fires with seating.

For our group, this was the third year staying at alpine Retreat. Each year was an amazing experience from reservation to check out. The staff at 5 Diamond Lodging makes the booking process super easy and they gave us a discounted rate, just because!
Alpine Retreat is super spacious, with a cozy cabin atmosphere, but not lacking any modern amenities. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies, and there are plenty of bathrooms for all the guests.
Overall, it's a perfect getaway but not too far from downtown Breckenridge. We will be booking here again in the future for sure! -

We had 5 diffferent families coming from different places meet up and stay at alpine Retreat. We really enjoyed the house. We liked how big and open it was and that it had such a large dining room table. We used the hot tub and the grill and spent a lot of time sitting out on the deck. The fect that the downstairs used to be separate was a nice feature, some of use could stay up late and make noise but if we were downstairs we didn't disturb the rest of the house. It was great to have a bathroom on each level too. We were looking for a place that accepted pets so our options were rather limited, but this place was great and we didn't feel like we had to settle for something less to accomodate our dog. My only warning would be that not only is this place pet friendly but it seems to come with a dog. There is a neighbor dog that spends a lot of time there. The first time we opened the door she walked right in and was with us a lot of the weekend, hanging out on the deck or coming into the house. If you don't like dogs, this isn't the house for you.
