Beautiful log home just five minutes from town and the slopes.Just a short drive from Main Street Breckenridge and the lifts this beautiful log home offers a perfect getaway. This home is surrounded by the national forest and has a creek running through the south side of the property. A wide open pasture offers a serene setting as well as possible wildlife viewing. Some friends and I take an annual ski/snowboard vacation out west, and this year we settled on Breckenridge, CO. We stayed 4 nights in the Snowshoe Lodge and couldn't have been happier with it. The hot tub was large enough and comfortable, the lodge itself was well-appointed and had plenty of beds for everyone (we were 6 initially, with 3 more friends visiting in from Denver for 2 nights only). The main floor was large enough to accommodate everyone for meals, Tv-watching, apres-ski beers, etc., and the radiant heated floors were a nice bonus. It is a little bit outside of town but only about a 5 minute drive to the Peak 8 Gondola, overall it was an awesome place and I'd definitely consider staying there again if we go back to Breckenridge.
