Superior, CO, United StatesLoved our stay!
Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Our family of 6 had a great stay at The Snowshoe Chalet. Plenty of room for everyone, nicely decorated, and well-stocked. We couldn't find any hotpads, and as another reviewer careful lighting the gas firepit. It almost singed my husbands eyebrows off when it lit! Other than that, it was a great place to stay and we will definitely stay again! Thank you!

The only suggestions I have is that the downstairs bedroom TV does not have cable and really should. There is no pizza cutter or oven hits. The pull out sofa is not that comfortable. All in all myself and the rest of the party really enjoyed our stay. The hot tube was GREAT!

We love that you enjoyed your stay in the Snowshoe Chalet--it truly is a unique property and a favorite of those that stay there. We also appreciate your feedback and have worked hard to correct the issues you mention--please come stay with us again soon.

Left on 01/29/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Overall, the property was nice, but be aware when lighting the fire ring. It has no ignitor switch so you have to turn the gas on then bend down and hold a flame to it. We nearly had an explosion! Also, the dishes in the cabinets were filthy, the pots and pans are relics and the jetted tub jets in the master hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Response from Summit Mountain Rentals - 03/11/2013
Manager
We certainly appreciate the constructive feedback with response to your stay in the Snowshoe Chalet! I am happy to let you know that all of the pots and pans have been replaced with new ones and that the master bath jets have all been adjusted and cleaned. Thanks again for choosing Summit Mountain Rentals and the Snowshoe Chalet for your vacation-we look forward to hosting you again soon.

Condo was as advertised, great setup and nicely furnitured. While it was not on the mountain and required us to drive to the slopes, it was very nice to be away from the crowd.

We had a wonderful time. The drive was very short to town and the property was just perfect. The hot tub was beautiful in the snow. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware. The trade off of not being able to walk to the bars was well worth it for the beautiful place to stay!

My friends and I were amazed with the property. Great location, clean, comfortable beds, professional staff. The toaster not working and the running toilet on the main floor were minor issues.

Thank you for bringing the toaster and toilet to our attention. They have been repaired. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.

Left on 08/15/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We loved our stay at Snowshoe Chalet. The house worked out perfect for our family of 6; lots of room for everyone to have their space. It was quiet and peaceful and an easy little trip into town. The furnishings were great and we had everything we needed
to prepare our meals each night. Loved the hot tub and used it after our hiking and biking each day. Since we are from Texas, our favorite part was being able to open the windows and enjoy the cool mountain air. Wish we were still there! -

Snowshoe Chalet is a great house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The hot tub and gas firepit were a great way to end the day.
The only thing that would've improved our stay would have been having a gas grill. The charcoal Weber grill provided worked fine, but was very small and wasted a lot of valuable vacation time when preparing dinner. Please get a gas grill!!! -

The home was very beautiful, spacious and clean. My family loved the outdoor space. The outdoor furniture needs some TLC. Other than that it was such a fun time in the "cool" country. Thanks again!

We stayed in Snow Shoe Chalet last Christmas also. It was just as wonderful this year. We love the decor and quality of Snow shoe. It has a great view of the outdoors. The trees are beautiful covered with snow. It is a short drive to town, which we didn't mind at all. We totally enjoyed our stay.

We were in Breckenridge July 2009. We were very happy with the accomadations. Very clean! Mountain views were somewhat obstructed by the trees, but was very quiet and peaceful. A nice distance from town. Away from the hustle-bustle, but close enough to shop & dine. Loved the gas firepit on the cool evenings. We would definitely choose this location again.

This house was beautiful, clean, and fun. The fire pit was great, and the hot tub, was nice in the afternoon. All appliances are new, lots of space, perfect for 2 families. My only complaint is the location. This is nestled off of peak 7, and walking with kids into town is not really an option. It's not much of a drive, but it would have been nice to ba able to walk into town.

We rented Snowshoe Chalet for the 2nd year in a row, and we had a fabulous time. Everything was as perfect this year as last year. The place still looked brand new-and we had plenty of trash bags, towels, soap, etc. The employees at the rental office were lovely! Thanks for a great stay!

Left on 07/30/2008 for a stay in July 2008
Overall we had a wonderful experience. The Snowshoe Chalet far exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with all the appliances in the kitchen! The hot tub outside was a definite plus. The only somewhat negative comment was that we didn't realize the third bedroom was a twin size bed with a trundle. We may have just misread the description. But it worked out well and we had a great stay.

Left on 07/29/2008 for a stay in July 2008
We have rented in Breckenridge for the past eight years. This was one of the top two properties we have rented. This property was very nice and extremely clean. The furnishings were good quality and it was decorated very nicely. This was our first time to stay on peak 7, but we wanted to give it a try. We decided we liked staying closer in to town better, but the price was good for the location. The deck was a wonderful addition to the home. And, the entire home was extremely clean compared to previous rentals in the area. I would stay there again and recommend it to someone else as long as the price was in line with the location. Very nice rental property!
