Located in the heart of the countryside Brecon Beacons National Park in the foothills of Pen y fan. Ideal for walkers, cyclists or just a peaceful 'get away' break. Ideal for any time of year (feel the warmth under your feet with the cosy underfloor heating!)
The cottage is within the grounds of the owners historic grade II listed property. It has been renovated to a high standard incorporating oak beams, oak and welsh stone floors.
The lounge is comfortable with free view sky tv, dvd, hi fi, free internet connection. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker etc.

Set in the parish of Cantref, an area of scattered farms and houses in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The cottage is in the heart of the countryside in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful scenery of fields, hedgerows, woodland with the highest points of the Brecon Beacons (Pen y fan) in the background. The Brecon Beacons has been designated as an International Dark Sky Reserve. So brush up on the stars and view the fantastic night skies!
The Historic town of Brecon is just 4 miles away with its Cathedral, Museum including the South Wales Borderers Museum, the Theatre, the Cinema, Individual shops etc. A good choice of local pubs and restaurants. The book town of Hay on Wye is just 10 miles away.
There are an abundance of outdoor activities within the area, scenic drives, National Park Visitor Centres, Waterfalls, Big Pit Coal Mine, Dan y orgaf Show Caves, St Fagons National History Museum, Cardiff Bay, A day at Wales beautiful coastline is less than 2 hours away.
The cottage is easily reached by road being about 3 hours from London, about 2 hours from Birmingham Airport, 2 hours from Exeter or just over 1 hour from Cardiff Airport. The nearest train station is at Abergavenny and then there are bus connections from there to Brecon. Transport from Brecon can be arranged (the nearest public transport is in the village of Llanfrynach - just over 1 mile from the cottage. Collection can be arranged from here too. Once here there are plenty of walking routes from the doorstep. Both Asda and Tesco Supermarkets can deliver to the cottage. Cantref Adventure Farm with Horseriding is a few minutes walk away.
