      A Wonderful Getaway!

Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in August 2009

My Wife and I spent our honeymoon in this Log Cabin and I can truly say that I can truly say the entire experience surpassed my expectation.

First off anna & David were such a pleasure to deal with in securing the reservation. Very friendly and laid back, you feel like family! The Information given regarding the premises, sightseeing ideas, Wifi locations (along with availability info), etc. was complete and very carefully put together. This really helped initially as both of us were unfamiliar with the are and have never stayed in a solitary home like this before.

Upon arrival through a winding road in the woods, we were struck by how charming the cabin is. It was very well kept, everything you could possibly need was at our grasp. The surrounding area was peaceful, private with not a single sight of civilization except for a route across the lake. There's the beach less than a mile away, a restaurant close by, a supermarket about 4 miles away, and a quaint downtown area nearby were you will find small local shops, pubs, and cafes.

What I liked best about this home was that it really delivered what you ask for. A private getaway surrounded by a serene natural environment. I strongly recommend this site for honeymooning or for anniversaries for busy couples looking to refresh their relationship and escape everyday life. Also for families who would enjoy a good, wholesome time camping together. This experience gets one in touch with our natural world, we are very much looking forward to visit again!

      Jewel in the rough

Left on 08/10/2010 for a stay in June 2009

My family and I stayed at this cabin two summers in a row. We really loved the location and simplicity of our stay. Webber pound is wonderful for swimming and the proximity to the ocean was perfect for our day trips.

My Favorite (and Repeated) Vacation Spot

Left on 08/03/2010 for a stay in August 2009

David's log cabin is my favorite vacation spot in the us. I've stayed there five or six times and it's still not enough. The cabin is both beautiful and comfortable and here was plenty of room for all of our guests (ranging from nine to 60 years old). The view of the lake gets even better when we jump in and the ocean is just a mile away - something for everyone in our gang. With amazing privacy and David's hospitality, I hope to return there every summer. Enjoy!
