Cheap, comfortable, clean and convenient, Abbey Cottage welcomes you home after a long day out...

A short set of stairs leads you down to your front door (see photos below). Abbey Cottage opens up onto a sunny double bedroom with built in cupboards and separate bathroom and toilet in the first section. Down 2 stairs into a cozy lounge with TV and dvd player. This opens up onto the second bedroom with both a double bed as well as a single bed and a functional kitchen which has all you need to put together your meals. A large covered balcony overlooking a growing garden with leafy surrounds is j...ust outside the lounge.

Situated in a quiet street off Latrobe Terrace, it is just 2.5 km to the city. Vibrant Paddington shops, art galleries and restaurants are just a 6 minute stroll down the road.

1 Queen bedroom in the main bedroom (plus trundle bed if necessary)

2 Double bed in bedroom 2

3 Single bed in bedroom 2

4 Portacot available free of charge for those with a little one (on request)

Parking: On-street parking is available on the street above the house. There is no charge and there is always space available.

  There must be something about the place - having stayed there for a week, we are now hooked. My wife in particular has grown very fond of the place, as well as its surroundings. We are already talking about the next holiday to be spent 'there'. When you travel, you usually like the city or the country you visit. But the house in which you happen to stay? - it's nicely unusual.
  
  For wireless geeks out there, here is one note about internet connectivity: it's a cable connection. There were two ethernet cables provided, one of which worked for us. I got my MacBook air connected there (because my airport Express didn't work), from which internet was shared wirelessly with my iPad etc. Just so you know.
  
  Once again, it is a lovely place, and it is very likely that we will be there again.
