Dinas CrossFantastic discovery.

Wow, we are regular visitors to Bristol for work but have only just discovered Clifton Towers, what a gem. Fantastically comfortable bed in a beautiful large room with everything you might need, all in Clifton Village, which has a huge choice of places to eat out should you wish. Marie Walker couldn't be more helpful, knows Bristol like the back of her hand, so is full of useful tips, even to people like us who thought we knew the city well until we met her. She is the perfect hostess, happy to go the extra mile for those of us who have special dietary requirements, couldn't be more helpful, without being in any way intrusive. The room is near to the front entrance of her house, so you have total privacy, which is lovely. Couldn't recommend it more highly, we'll be back, and are busy telling all our friends about it.

LondonExcellent, quiet & comfortable B&B; in a perfect location.

This was the perfect B&B; for my son & I. The room was airy & spacious, the bed was really comfortable, & Marie provided an extra bed for my son. Everything was perfect for our needs - quiet, nearby shops, restaurants & on-street parking.
We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts - wonderful bread, eggs, etc, & making it as & when we wanted was really great.
Thank you for making us so welcome, Marie - I look forward to my stay on my next visit.

Large comfortable room with compact ensuite shower room. Excellent choice of breakfast items in the room. Perfect location for Clifton but steep walk up Constitution Hill (you need a strong one !) to walk up from the Harbour area. Room even had a vase of fresh roses - much appreciated.

CarmarthanStaying at Clifton Towers
Left on 03/15/2013 for a stay in June 2011
I have stayed at Clifton Towers a few times now and have really enjoyed it. Clifton Towers is located in Clifton Village, which is one Bristol's most attractive little areas, next to the Downs and Gorge. The venue is run by Marie Walker - a friendly humerous lady who goes out of her way to accomodate any particular needs you may have. This is not your average guest house, it is infact something quite personal and rather special.

Nice warm welcome, very spacious room with a great view. Quiet location and well sound proofed as I couldn't hear the gale force winds! Clifton is a fantastic 'village' with loads of places to visit and Clifton Towers is in easy reach of some decent pubs!

Marie offers the perfect blend of hospitality and space, in the nicest part of central Bristol. In your bay-windowed period room you've got your own ensuite and kitchenette (where you make your own breakfast from the yummy ingredients provided) so it feels like you're in a studio flat! Ideal for the independent traveller who values their own space and a friendly welcome.

Olgiate Olona- ItalyThe real Clifton experience
Left on 12/26/2012 for a stay in August 2012
I went to Clifotn Towers b&b; a number of times. The landlady Marie Walker has always welcomed me in such a warm way that I've always missed my stay there. The room is very well furnished and the building is in the heart of the wonderful Clifton Village and within a five minutes walk to the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
I have always liked my breakfast there. A couple of times I was so lucky as to get some home made marmalade, which I found fantastic. Marie has also a very good taste and knowledge of different kinds of cuisine and wines from all over Europe.
I will recommend the Clifton Towers to anyone who wants to treat him or herself with a calm, warm and comfortable stay in Bristol.

Very spacious room which is tastefully decorated, bed was comfortable and there were all the mod cons that we needed. The choice for breakfast was extensive and with the microwave we could have eaten in in the evening too. Lovely views over the park and to the surrounding hills. Great location for exploring the city or even some of the local countryside. Although it is in a city it is in a quiet area so we weren't disturbed at all. Marie was extremely welcoming and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Clifton is a nice village with lots of options for eating out and some interesting shops. We'll be back!
