Lovely cottage, couldn't fault it. Extremely well stocked kitchen, thoughtfully arranged by the owners. Everything we needed and more. The owners are not just out for making money from the property, they genuinely want people to enjoy their stay and feel at home. They also were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
excellent value for an ideal location to tour north norfolk from

Having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The cottage was very well equiped with all any family or friends would need.
The only down side was the fact that the single beds were only 2ft 6inches wide and should really be 3feet wide. Having looked at the room 2 fullsize beds could go in the room if re arranged.
However the whole experiance was very good.

I have already completed a review. The booking was made in the name of my husband Richard Charles Tennant who died in June 2010. Because of the stress we had all been under, we decided to go ahead with the holiday to give us a break. My brother-in-law and wife accompanied me. It was just what we needed with no interuptions or upheavals.

Fred's Cottage is excellently equipped with just about everything you could wish for, even down to a bath for the baby! The property is well furnished and comfortable and Briston is a very good central village to access the North Norfolk coast and the beautiful town of Holt, it also has its own bakers and butchers plus supermarkets - so everything on the door step. The only downside was the noise from the local pub at closing time, and the small garden. Would certainly stay here again.
