Lovely people, great place to stay in beautiful area! Very relaxing place to stay with lots to see and do.
Our son really enjoyed seeing the animals and playing with Michelle and Roger's children.
Much recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing break with helpful friendly hosts.

As soon as we arrived we were treated like part of the family, nothing was too much trouble even though we turned up much earlier than planned, we were welcomed straight away and michele and roger made sure we had everything we needed.
The gite was very clean and comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed.
The location couldn't be more perfect for families there is plenty of space for kids to run about safely and an abundance of toys and activities to keep them occupied the whole of your stay also there are 2 very special chidren there, hannah and william who are extremly polite and friendly and are more than happy to share their toys with any children who stay, which was a gosend on our holiday as we have an only child who always worries about having someone to play with while we are away, our daughter loved getting to know them, as did we, if you want a completely relaxed holiday with plenty to do and more importantly plenty for the kids to do if you decide not to go anywhere for the day, then rest assured gites de kerlun is the place for you. we wouldn't hesitate going back again and again. There is lots to see and do in and around the local area and there are lots of activities locally which the children can sign up for (michele helped with all aspects of this) and a brilliant family freindly sandy beach at the lake (5 mins away) with a resturant, park and lovely walks.
We felt completly at home throughout our whole stay, we have stayed in many gites as a family, none of which have been bad by any standards, however this one easily stands out as the best one we have ever stayed at and it would take alot to even begin to compare to the experience of staying at gites de kerlun.

We stayed in July 2011, and could not believe the hospitality that was extended to our party, the Gite was well equipped and comfortable.
Brittany has a charm that has luckily remained unchanged, and the Gite de Kirlun is central to some of the best bits!!
Michele & Roger were great hosts, what more can you say

We have stayed twice with Roger and Michelle and have experienced both thier wonderful gites, each full of character which makes for an ideal holiday.
Whether its relaxing with a glass of wine watching the children playing with all the equipment available at the gite or being dragged up on to a pair of ski's on the lake, we found that thier was something for everybody.
Roger and Michelle were brilliant hosts, always on hand with information, and even helped me trace a part for my boat, and helped to fit it! what more could you ask.
We will definately return to see our friends Roger and Michelle and looking forward to seeing all the new amenities!
Incredibly relaxing, family-friendly holiday in beautiful gite a

Immediately you are made to feel at home when staying on Michele and Roger's farm! Such a friendly welcome from the whole family and the animals of course! Our children, all boys, aged 8,6 and 18 months, absolutely loved helping out with the care of the animals and even witnessing the birth of a new arrival to the menagerie (a kitten). My parents were also with us, so we had a real mixture of holiday demands and I can hand-on-heart say that we all had an absolutely amazing time during our two week stay. The accomodation was spacious and comfortable, with all toddler equipment provided (including stair gate!). Michele and Roger bent over backwards to ensure we had all we needed! The situation of the gite was incredible with wonderful views over unspoilt Breton countryside and in very close proximity to a beautiful, quiet lake with safe-swimming beach, restaurant, ice-cream kiosk, boat hire and play ground. We tended to drive the five minute route but there was never a problem parking! Although we didn't venture far (mainly due to the very child-friendly on-site amenities and beautiful surroundings!) the gite is comfortable driving distance from many towns and local attractions. The thing that made it for me was seeing all 3 kids so happy playing with Michele and Roger's children, Hannah and William (Michele and Roger even babysat on occasions!) and being able to watch them while relaxing on our outside patio area with a glass of wine (or Breton cider) in my hand!

We stayed at Poire cottage and it was womderful. Everything was clean, cozy and there were plenty to do in and around the cottage! There were two reception rooms so if you are a big group (it will easily hold 8) there is plenty of space for all. My two girls enjoyed themselves and the owners and their children were so accomodating to us and they even made my 4 year old a birthday cake! Nothing was too much trouble with them and we had a proper relaxing holiday ( which is rare for parents with a 4 and 2 year old)! At the end of our stay, they had an informal BBQ and it was lovely chatting with Michelle and Roger who are such nice people!
The location of the gite is great for places like Josselin, Pontivy and the Pont Scarf(sp??) zoo which was awesome. We will definitely go back there when we travel to Brittany again.

Stayed in pomme for a week, very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished, all the equioment you could want for a home from home stay.
Great location very quiet and plenty of room for the children to run about and play, nice outdoor furniture and great BBQ area.
The children loved the animals also the owners own children were a great pair of fun loving children.
The Gites were about 1 mile from the Lake, a good walk for the lazy ramblers like us, not too far.
We received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners and lots of information on attractions and places of interest in the area.
All in all, a great experience, will definitly go there again.

Such a lovely place to stay! Michele & Roger were so welcoming and the accommodation was just as we expected. Lots & lots of local knowledge that makes a stay here so much more.
Loads of "outdoor" things to do and to see in the area - Pontivy was a favourite for me.
The views across the lake is stunning and it's such a relaxing place.
Would definitely stay here again - just brilliant!
