Aztec Room has CA-King Bed w/Rollaway available can sleep 3, French Room with Queen bed (rollaway available) with private bath few steps down the hall+your own private steam sauna - can sleep 3. My wife and I had a lovely 2-night stay at a Country Retreat Bed and Breakfast. Evelyn was a very thoughtful, personable host, and made our stay delightful. Her breakfasts are practically worth the price of the stay, and are different each morning.
We stayed in the French room, which was plenty of room for the two of us. The decorations in the room (and the rest of the home, for that matter) were dazzling (and bountiful). The room opened to a deck which overlooked the backyard, complete with a Jacuzzi. The grounds were serene, peaceful, and well kept.
Should we find ourselves along the western Oregon coast again, we will not hesitate to stay at a Country Retreat Bed and Breakfast.

My wife and I have stayed three times at the Country Retreat B&B; & each time Evelyn has taken great care of us. She is a kindhearted host and enjoys serving her guests. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the last time we stayed, the jacuzzi was practically outside the sliding glass door.
The home is set up on a hill, and feels secluded with the surrounding trees and bushes. It's just a beautiful setting. We love sitting on the deck on the back side of the house, sipping some cold/hot tea/coffee, and enjoying the views.
The breakfast each morning is fabulous and trust me, you won't need lunch...it's a big country breakfast! Eggs, sausage, bacon, homemade biscuits, fruit, juice, coffee/tea are a few things I remember having. Evelyn attends to dietary needs and cooks to please :)
For activities, we enjoy heading into town and exploring. We also typically head north of town and walk the beach. There is a great seafood restaurant just south of town (just over the Ca/ore border) that we love that is reasonably priced. We also had ribs once at a place on the south end of town that was good, too.
All in all, for a quiet getaway, staying at the Country B&B; has been a great experience for my wife and I. We have pleasant memories of some of our anniversaries there.Response from Evelyn F - 06/13/2011

Evelyn's home is nestled amongst trees, very private, secluded environment. You can overlook the Chetco river as you sit on the expansive deck that spans the entire length of the home. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, of which there were only 2. The home is beautifully decorated, with one room containing a Billiards table. While we had our privacy, Evelyn's service was impeccable. She thought of our every need and was always available to us if we needed something.
My Fiance (boyfriend at the time) had planned a marriage proposal and Evelyn was in on it. She made everything so special, down to the most minute details.
Her breakfasts are to die for! She is a wonderful cook, and every breakfast was a 4 course meal.
Our 3 nights there were 3 of the most memorable nights I have ever had. We plan to go back soon after we are married!
