Sea Turtle is a private oceanfront cabin at White Rock Resort, located 5 miles south of Brookings, Oregon and 17 miles north of Crescent City, California. Brookings is a quaint, harbor town with the Chetco River running through. The marina has restaurants, shops, sport fishing, crabbing, and farmer's markets. The village of Brookings Harbor has shopping, cinema, golf, laundromat, bowling, and library.
One half hour south of Sea Turtle, you can visit the Paul Bunyan Redwood Park with tram or the Crescent City Ocean Aquarium. Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park is approximately 20 miles to the southeast on Hwy 199. Two miles to the north is the Oregon Redwood Trail -- a beautiful hiking trail where you will experience majestic redwoods and vistas. Just a few miles north of Brookings is the beautiful Harris State Beach Park with hiking trails and gorgeous views.
You can take a walking tour of Azalea Park in downtown Brookings.
Five minutes south of Sea Turtle is the Lucky 7 Casino/Restaurant.
Thirty miles north of Sea Turtle, you can enjoy a Jet Boat Excursion on the Rogue River.
You have the Chetco, Winchuck and Smith rivers to fish, hike or raft within 10 minutes by car.
