OntarioGreat little apartment
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The apartment was very clean and big enough for all of us. Liani was very pleasant and went out of her way to accomodate us. There were a couple items missing and we requested them from her and when we got home that night they were waiting for us! A very lovely lady to deal with. She definitely made our stay more enjoyable. We did not spend much time in Brooklyn but the neighborhood seemed quite safe. The subway line was just across the street. Little food places were on every corner. The price was right!

Pensacola, FloridaIntimate, well-equipped and centralized
Left on 12/18/2011 for a stay in November 2011
From the first second I arrived, everything was well-organized. Liani met me at the door, explained the nuances of the apartment, gave me all the neighborhood tips and was always available at the other end of the phone line for questions. I thought it might take too long to get to Union Square, but with the subway entrance almost in front of the front door, I got there faster than from uptown Manhattan. This is a cutting edge neighborhood, lots of beautiful brownstones and ethnic restaurants, but most importantly, this apartment really works well...equipped kitchen, good mattresses, a sunny patio and laundry. Tv channels limited, but I am no TV watcher, but WiFi was fast and reliable. I am coming back in January. I traveled alone to visit my daughter in grad school, and she love the quiet neighborhood to sleep and study. Kudos for a great place.

VersonnexGreat base to explore Brooklyn and New York from
Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in August 2011
From the first moment of contact Liani was prompt efficient and professional - questions and emails were answered clearly and thoroughly, even restaurant recommendations in advance - very understanding of us being international travellers (arriving quite late, delayed in customs).
The apartment is very comfortable, we were 2 adults and 2 kids. Great to have the fully kitted kitchen so you can choose to eat in and loads of home delivery in the area and also for the kids to have breakfast when they wanted. good café and fine epicerie next door, practical supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. The wifi was also a bonus (even if it meant i could work...)
The location is very convenient for public transport into brooklyn and downtown (subway is 10 metres from the door, really!) and there is a swimming pool within 300 metres. The neighbourhood is lively - a typical: "mixed" New York neighbourhood; people of different colours, races, religions and languages. There is a nice park (Fort Greene) less than 10 minutes away on the bus and lots of good restaurants over there.
We liked best: easy transport links, the breakfast bar to chat over while eating(!), the aircon when it was too hot, Williamsburg neighbourhood is only 15 minutes away by subway- cool cafés there
We liked least:nothing we feel strongly about: you have to be ready for some lively language in the neighbourhood; welcome to New York!

DCPerfect accommodations’, Lovely Host
Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We were visiting NY to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. I've stayed in the Bklyn apt a few times before so I knew the apt was beautiful. It is always impeccably clean, with nice amenities and Liani is always a lovely host so, I knew that my friends would enjoy the experience. The private backyard was extremely peaceful and a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. There were a variety of restaurants within walking distance and the train station was just at the corner. Liani knows so much about Brooklyn and was very helpful in terms of finding activities as well as the best way to travel. I would highly recommend the Bklyn apt if you are looking for top-notch accommodations and a prime location.

five star host. five star apartment. location was great for me. i was trying to stay near a friend, and he was only 3 blocks away. but getting farther out was also no problem, as the place is next to the G train subway station.
Liani really went out of her way to be helpful. she helped me located a jogging stroller to rent while i was in town. she even offered to pick-up and return it. this was a great place for my two year-old. Liani even left a few toys for us. she's very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. -

Oslo, NorwayA perfect alternative to a hotel
Left on 05/11/2011 for a stay in May 2011
A very cosy apartment with plenty of space enough for the three of us and our suitcases. Liani is a very friendly and serviceminded person, which made us feel comfortable from the very first e-mail. She recommended a couple of restaurants in the surroundings, which helped us enjoy exploring the neighborhood. We were very happy with the opportunity to cook and refrigerate, and also took advantage of the possibility to wash clothes during our stay.
The metro is just across the street (G-line, Brooklyn).
