Description from the owner

This bright south facing space is full of charm, style and sunlight! There is a sunken living area, high ceilings, old warehouse industrial details, 4 piece luxury bathroom with a vintage claw foot tub plus a glass, rainfall shower, pedestal sink and white marble custom tile. Sleep in a queen sized bed complete with over-stuffed down bedding and also relax in a comfy couch/sitting area. Make coffee in the morning or what ever you desire in the excellent kitchenette. The building is a robust industrial structure with massive brick walls and is fully automatic fire sprinklered for occupants safety. This is as private a space as you want but I...Read more

Great loft in a great area

Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in August 2012

We did not stay in this exact loft, but in a larger one in the same building. Simply but tastefully decorated, a feel of an artist's studio, wooden floors, high ceilings. The building is just a few steps from Bedford avenue and L-train with an easy access to Manhattan - although there is enough great restaurants and things to do in the neighborhood itself. The owner is very nice and helpful, and gave us lots of great hints about places to visit in the area. Warmly recommended! If there is a downside it is that the bed was a bit on the soft side to comfortably sleep two. That did not bother us too much, though.

      location location location!

Left on 09/22/2012 for a stay in September 2012

My gf and I recently booked a week at this loft and found location to be the highlight...staying in manhattan is quite pricey, so we looked at places closeby...this loft is one block from the l train and only one station stop from manhattan...the loft is next to bedford avenue where restaurants and bars are busy even weeknights...it is quite safe travelling from manhattan to brooklyn and back because of sheer numbers of commuters going out for entertainment...the loft has a mini kitchen full bath and generous living space...fyi this place is not for the couch potato or elderly...there is no tv and no elevator for this top floor loft...the owner was very fair and respectful of our privacy and the deposit was returned in a timely manner

      Great Flat. Great Location.

Left on 06/03/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This loft flat is in the perfect location. Williamsburg is a great location to stay for a holiday in NYC, lots of great bars, shops and restaurants and a short subway ride straight into manhatten, and this flat could not be in a better location in Williamsburg, 1 minute walk from bedford avenue and 1 minute walk from the subway.

We loved our stay here, the flat has everything you need and the owner was very friendly, made us feel welcome and also let us get on with our holiday without any troubles. thank you!

      Highly recommended.

      good taste, space, convenient

Left on 07/24/2010 for a stay in December 2009

I will never stay in Manhattan again.
Williamsburg is the place to be in NY. Food, drink, galleries, book shops, atmosphere.
The loft is just beautifull, the owners are intelligent and bright.
Manhattan seems to artificial now for me, i go for museums and other turistic atractions but stay there for the night, never again. come back and have dinner in the neighborhood, tranquile and lifely, to see the sky, blue, grey or dark right there above your head

      excellent location / super space

Left on 07/23/2010 for a stay in September 2009

We stayed in the larger loft with a family of 5...3 teenagers and mom and dad. There is vast space to relax, sleep and eat. The loft was very clean and had all that we needed. The bathroom was cool and had an excellent shower.

The vista out our 4th floor windows was superb. The Empire Sate Building catching morning and evening light in the distance was a great reminder of the city at our door.

The subway is a short 3 minute walk away...and one stop to Manhattan. Williamsburg is bustling day and night. Restaurants, bakeries, bars and funky shops are just up the street. Every morning we would head out to get fresh fruits and baked goods to start the day.

There were concerts and art shows to occupy us in Brooklyn. Spending hours exploring Manhattan we could pop back to the comfortable loft for a nap and then head back to the city for more NYC.
