Our luxurious 4 bedroom 3 bathroom golf home (sleeps up to 8 people) is situated in the exclusive gated community of Hernando Oaks on the outskirts of Brooksville. The villa is fully furnished and equipped for all your needs; and is very spacious with 1880 square feet of air conditioned living space. To the rear the extensive south facing screened pool deck with spacious lounging area with its own private heated pool which overlooks the 4th fairway and green of the championship golf course Hernando Oaks.

Our villa is situated in a quite secluded location on Hernando Oaks Golf course overlooking the 4th green. There are many things which you can do in our area, walking around the nature reserve, and we are not far from the beach. There are many golf courses in our area.

My husband and I stayed here for the month of February! We've vacationed at other homes but never found one we wanted to return to until this year! Very comfortable living quarters and the Gated Community is an added bonus for us! We felt that we were in close proximity to many golf courses as well as grocery and misc. shopping areas. The screened in patio/pool area allows you to enjoy the Florida weather and watch the golfers as they pass by on the course in your backyard.

Just wanted to let you know what a lovely time we had on our holiday
in your villa. We were very impressed with it and would definitely
recommend it to others. I loved the fact that the pool area was not
overlooked just so peaceful out there. Location was perfect as we had family just down the road, but for others the villa is close to plenty of supermarkets, restaurants. A little bit of travelling is needed if you want to go to parks, but having the right villa compensates for travelling. A big thank you to John and Lesely for the professional service given to us.

We enjoyed John and Lesley's house in Brooksville very much. If you are looking for a real value that still includes all the ammenities, this should be your choice. The house itself filled all our demands and the grand kids just loved the pool (couldn't hardly get them out). The area is very low key but a short drive can bring in the beach areas and excitement. We were very happy with our choice.

This is the second time we have stayed at Hernando Oaks Villa. We are very impressed with the high standards of this villa. The cleanliness, quality and space the villa has to offer is excellent. The furnishings are to a very high standard, and you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
It is situated on a golf course with great views and we saw lots of wildlife from racoons to deer and multi-coloured birds. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the pool deck watching the golfers go by. The villa's pool area has excellent privacy as you are not overlooked. The pool was also a decent size and we enjoyed taking a swim to cool down!
My husband was delighted to find so many fantastic golf courses within easy reach, and that the golf course the villa is based on, he found to be very enjoyable.
You do need to hire a car to stay in Brooksville as many of the tourist attractions are a car ride away, but we have found that to be the case in many parts of Florida so were not surprised.
We would definitely recommend this villa and look forward to going back again! -

We had a great vacation staying at this house. Our whole family, 17 of us, were vacationing with one other family at Hernando and 2 others staying nearby. The Hector's house had everything that we needed to cook and live comfortably during the week. We enjoyed the pool very much. Shopping was very close and we took advantage of this. The house was clean and well laid out as my mother stayed with us and she occupied the front bedroom and was able to have her own bathroom. Would recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks stay at the Hernando Oaks Villa. The villa was fantastic, very clean and well equipped and extremely spacious. It is in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed many hours by the pool with nothing to disturb us except the odd raccoon walking past on the golf course
However we were a bit disappointed to find that the nearest beaches were further away than we had thought and were not as good as we were expecting.
We also felt that there was not enough local information provided at the villa, not even a map of the local area to help us to orientate ourselves and find out nearest facilities such as supermarkets, shopping malls, attractions, local tourist office etc. We came across a wonderful crazy golf course by chance and had a great time but wouldn't have known about it if we hadn't driven past it.
Once we had found out where things were we had a really lovely holiday. There is plenty to do but you need to travel to find it.Response from John & Lesley Hector - 08/16/2009

My family is originally from Brooksville and we were very excited with our time spent at this villa. It is in a great area, wonderful neighborhood and a beautiful home. I would recommend this villa to anyone. It is super clean and I felt like I was at my own home there. We've made plans to stay there again in June 2010.
