Additional Location Information
Bradley Harbour is a quiet little neighbourhood along the waterfront. Even as you walk along the road you most often can hear the peaceful sound of waves lapping against the shores. Although other homes and cottages line the shores, they are spaced really well and surrounded by trees the provide a great deal of privacy.
About 25 mins from Tobermory and Lion's Head, and 40 mins from Wiarton, it is a great central location for many local attractions from hiking the Bruce Trail, visiting Farmer's Markets, National Parks, etc...

Halto HillsPerfect for luxurious quiet

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bear Hollow Cottage. I was looking for a quiet, private, secluded weekend away and this location exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well appointed so cooking was pleasurable, the living room was cozy with the wood fireplace and the views of the water from the floor to ceiling windows were inspirational. The beach was ruggedly spectacular. But the thing I remember most was that the bed was so comfortable I was determined to buy the same mattress when I got home. I came home from this retreat feeling completely refreshed and I look forward to the next time I stay at this delightful cottage.

Ancaster, OntarioPeaceful, relaxation on the shores of Lake Huron

Recently my wife and I stayed for a week at Bear Hollow Cottage which is roughly half way between Lion's Head on the southeast and Tobermory to the north. Aside from all the cute bears figures everywhere, my first impression was how fantastic the view of Lake Huron is from the huge window overlooking a large deck at the back of the cottage. There are pathways leading down to a rocky shore that is great for walking. There are several kayaks available and the Lake Huron area is great for kayaking as long as it isn't too rough. The cottage itself looks very new inside, with beautiful pine floors and pine furniture, 3 good size bedrooms and a small loft with bed and a clean modern bathroom with shower. The kitchen, and indeed, the whole cottage is very well equipped. There is even a central vacuum system! There is an excellent indoor fire place and an outdoor fire pit. Garbage and recycling is very close off highway 6 which is really useful. This is a wonderful place if you are looking for peace and quite.Very comfortable setting with amazing waterfront views.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bear Hollow. It is a beautiful location - very private, with pretty garden areas , and an easy drive to reach. The cottage is very nicely decorated , with two large bedrooms , a pretty smaller room, and a loft which any boy would enjoy.A very well stocked kitchen and a nice fireplace to enjoy on a chilly day. The view from the floor to ceiling window is lovely and a door leading out to a large deck where we could sit and enjoy the view of Lake Huron and the beautiful sunsets. We certainly enjoyed our stay and hope return here in the future.

My time spent at Bear Hollow was amazing! This warm and welcoming waterfront cottage is the ultimate retreat that offers everything - and more - as described on the website. The view is impressive, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The calmness of the area is inspiring - very quiet and a great place to relax and have fun. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the waterfront, and a wood burning fireplace if needed for cool nights. There were many outdoor seating areas, some with fire pits. The owners are very pleasant and easy to deal with.

Ancaster, OntarioA wonderful cottage

I have stayed at Bear Hollow on several occasions and it doesn't get any easier to leave such a pristine location. The cottage is close to a wonderful waterfront and at times the water appears 'Caribbean' with turquoise water. So peaceful and the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline was meditative.
The cottage itself is very private. It is surrounded by beautiful, well maintained gardens.
You will not be disappointed when you step into the cottage-it is well designed and has large front floor to celing windows overlooking the waterfront. The bedrooms are spacious and designed as part of the Bear Hollow theme.
A wood burning fireplace is available if there is a slight chill in the air.
It is close to the Bruce Trail, Lion's Head, and Tobermory-can't ask for a better location.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
