Attic Loft 45 m2 , 2-4 sleepings (1 double, 2 singles), splendid view over the rooftops and towers of Bruges. Private bathroom + wc, fully equipped kitchenette. On the first floor, 2 guestrooms, Vanilla & Orchidee, 2 & 3 pers, both with private bathroom + wc and one common kitchenette on the same floor. Can also be booked together as a rental (max 5 pers). Possibility to rent the the full house, loft + 2 rooms (in total 9-10 pers). Meeting spaces (Lounge) downstairs.
Beautifull terrace anwith view on garden for a nice coffea, tea or a famous belgian beer.

Une maison d'hôtes idéalement située dans Bruges, à peine plus de 10min à pieds de la place Markt et de la place Burg, et à peine 5 min en vélo (gentiment prêtés par l'hôte). Dans une rue calme, où vous pouvez trouver à vous garer facilement (avec un disque, prêté par l'hôte). Le Santal (pour 4 personnes, avec kitchenette) était charmant, Tres Propre, avec tout ce qu'il peut vous falloir pour passer quelques jours (serviettes, café, jus orange, oranges fraîches, pain frais... fournis par l'hôte). Bref un lieu charmant, où je ne trouve absolument rien à redire, et que je recommande vivement, mais pas trop...il faut que ce ne soit pas complet la prochaine fois que je souhaiterais y aller ;-)

We stayed at the Room With a View for 6 night this september, 2012. Very helpful owner. We had the santal room upstairs. The kitchen was stocked with food and drink. Had a nice view. Was a little bit of a walk to the market square, but the residential area was quiet. The apartment is one large room ( a studio). No separate bedroom.
Loved the town of Brugge and the abundance of chocolate! -

This lovely Bed and Breakfast was close to everything and within walking distance. The windmills were about 2 block away and the view from the deck was superb. You could hear the church bells from all the churches, and see the sunsets. The rooms were very comfortable and roomy and the hostess was very friendly. It was nice to have access to a kitchen area, and also a computer room, and it was very quiet. Can't wait to return in the future!

abbiamo soggiornato in Santal, un loft all'ultimo piano di una tipica casa fiamminga, ubicata nel centro storico di Bruges, a 10 minuti a piedi da "Market place"" in una zona verde e tranquilla, ma in prossimità di tutti i servizi necessari (negozi alimentari con prodotti tipichi e supermarket, ristoranti e caffè tipici).
Il loft è arredato con cura e razionalità, è fornito di tutta l'attrezzatura da cucina "funzionante" e la proprietaria che abita nella casa accanto è sempre presente nel fornire consigli sulla visita di Bruges o per risolvere qualsiasi problema degli ospiti. La sua presenza garantisce inoltre una pulizia accurata e una piacevole accoglienza (ci sono persino le candele profumate).
Che dire poi della possibilità di accedere alla terrazza e al giardino, un oasi di pace e verde con una magnifica vista sulla chiesa di "Gerusalemme" e sulle torri della città vecchia !
Inoltre a disposizione degli ospiti vengono fornite delle biciclette per piacevoli escursioni nei dintorni di Bruges, come ad esempio Damme (5 km),o De Haan, per vedere il mare del nord.
Concludendo un'ottima sistemazione e un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo nel centro storico, per una vacanza all' insegna della cultura e del relax .

Très bon accueil et excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le studio "Santal" que nous avons loué est nickel et fonctionnel.
Quartier calme à l'intérieur de la vieille ville tout en étant à 10' à pied de la Grand Place. Vous pouvez garer sans souci votre véhicule et partir à la découverte de la "Venise du Nord" sur vos deux jambres ou à vélo grâce aux bicyclettes gracieusement fournies... -

Great location, plenty of food available upon arrival which was wonderful since we arrived late, and the bicycles were in great shape for priceless rides around Brugges! I loved this place and the hostess - Corine - was very helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Corines "room with a view". Corine went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Even providing a teddy bear for our grandson.
The rooms were very clean, warm and kitchen facilities excellent. The bikes were a fantastic way to explore Bruge. Great attention to detail. -

Top floor room very spacious, easy to relax. Kitchenette well equipped for simple meals. Very quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the town or from a useful supermarket. Bikes available to tour the countryside, but who wants a bike to ride over the cobbbllleeess in the town centre

Wonderful place to stay in Bruges. The house is located in a very nice and quiet neightbourhood. We stayed in the Vanilla room that has direct access to a balcony with a nice view over a church (the owner's church as she liked to tell us). The rooms are extremely well maintained we had access to a small kitchenette. We wanted to go to a restaurant for dinner, but the place was so nice (combined with the fact that we were a little tired) we decided to have dinner on the terrace of our room.
The owner also gives us access to bicycles with a lock on them. So we used to bicycles to visit the town and stoped where we wanted to.
In addition, she gaves us a parking pass. So no extra parking to pay (which can get very expensive in the Netherlands).
In short: it is well worth the price, we highly recommend it.
A word on the hosstess who warmly welcomed us and made sure we were confortable and had everything we wanted. -

We are staying in the upper loft, Santal. It provides a kichenette, shower and an amazing view. Clean, comfortable, great light, high ceilings and located 10 minutes from the city central by bicycle, A Room With a View is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and the use of bicycles comes with the cost of flat rental. We've used them every day to wander the streets of the city. We enjoyed our friendly and very informative host, as she has given us many useful tips to go on.
There is always some caution prior to booking a place to stay sight unseen, but rest assured what you see is what you get @ A Room With a View. We were/ are very pleased with our choice. If again in Belgium we would always come back. -

Bruges harbours a lot of B&B, but I would be
surprised if many matched " A Room With a View" in
quality, location and service. We stayed in the
largest room " Santal", under the roof, which
covers the entire floor plan of the house. It is
fitted with a large comfortable queen sized bed,
two sofas(which can be converted into sleeping
bunks), a sitting area and a fully equipped
kitchenette. The view on the towers of bruges comes
for free. A room with a view is definitively his
name worth! Situated in a very quiet and green
street, within the walls of the old city. An ideal
location for a restful night at a walking distance
of all places of interest.12 min walk from the main
market place and 5 min by bike. Bikes are held at
the disposal of the guests and there is free wifi
internet access. Recommanded at 200 %.

A two day stay allowed us to visit Bruges leisurely. With our car parked in the vicinity of Corine's home within walking distance of the city center we enjoyed discovering this beautiful city. The monuments constitute an outstanding treasure and a shrine for extraordinary museums.
Corine is a very friendly hostess, ready to give advice and to provide a very warm hospitality in a very comfortable and cosy surrounding.
