Northern Riversa Special Place.
Left on 04/19/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We booked the Penthouse, and as such we had great views of the river and creek, overlooking one of the many parks. It seemed that we were the highest veranda in the town!
'Bruns' is very laid back and a left over of the old seaside towns of the '60's, with a touch of 'Byron'.
Broadview is no more that a 2 minute walk from 'the block', that is the centre of town.
The suite was spacious clean bright and airy, (The wooden louvre blinds were a nuisance).
The 'Penthouse' has two bedrooms, an 'On-suite with the master Bedroom, which also has an air conditioner, probably useful during Summer as the master bedroom has a West Facing wall. There is also has a smaller, Shower and Toilet !
The Penthouse also has a separate laundry, complete with Dryer, very useful for rainy days.
There is a fully kitted-out kitchen, however, the oven looked a bit ancient, a replacement ought to be soon. There is a small Weber BBQ on the verandah.
Two large couches in the lounge area allows the family to 'spread out'. The suite is very spacious.
The verandah which faces East is just the spot to sit and watch the sun rise with your morning cuppa.

Owner
This review does not actually apply to the apartment known as 'Broadview@Brunz' (one bedroom ground floor apartment) within the Broadview Waterfront Apartments Building for which this Flipkey listing applies.
All apartments within the complex are individually owned and are in a constant state of upgrading and refurbishment to enhance the quality of what is offered to guests.
Broadview@Brunz has modern and clean fixtures and fittings (including the oven). We (and all apartments) also have wooden louvre blinds which suit the character of the building and block out the glorious sun which often streams through the north facing sun in the majority of our apartments. Not all guests find them a nuisance.

Broadview@Brunz exceeded all expectations. The location, the cleanliness, the facilities, the decor and the assistance offered by the owners. The unit had everything you could possibly ask for toilertires, washing powder, hair dryer, tea bags, ipod dock, beach towles.. everything! I would highly recommend this for a stay in Brunswick and will definately return.

Recently stayed for two nights at Broadview@Brunz. The one bedroom apartment was tastefully decorated and the attention to detail was exceptional. Towels were thick, thirsty and fluffy. Beach towels included in a handy beach bag to take to the nearby surf beach (means less packing for us). The bathroom very spacious and the shower was glorious (particularly enjoyable for those who have water restricters on their showers at home!) I slept like a log in the quite bedroom located at the rear of the apartment.
This fully self contained apartment had all the amenities for a relaxing stay, including 2 flat screen tv, ipod docking station and speakers.
Lots of cafes, restaurants and a fabulous pub nearby meant there was no need to use the kitchen facilities.
Would definitely stay again and recommend this apartment. -

My husband and I stayed here for two nights over a weekend in October 2011 with our 19 month old. The apartment is spotless and immaculate and has everything you need for your stay. Unlike most apartment accommodation, where you are supplied a single sachet of dishwashing powder and a single sachet of washing powder for the washing machine - here the owners have gone the extra mile for their guests. There was a container full of washing powder and dishwashing tablets and there were even washing up gloves under the sink! There were the beautiful Sanctum toiletries and not to mention the beach towels that were supplied for our stay - a real bonus as we all know how bulky it is to pack beach towels!
The location of the apartment is perfect, it is a 2 minute walk to cafes (and there are quite a few to choose from for a little town), great coffee places and not to mention the Brunswick Hotel which serves good meals. A 1 minute walk from the apartment is a park with a playground which is very popular with the kids. There are also lovely little shops to wander through and explore. The beach is a lazy 10 mins walk around the corner and all the area is flat, so great for prams.
The owner Mark was a pleasure to deal, would highly recommend this place to stay. We will definitely be back! -

SydneyBrilliant little gem. My new home away from home!!
Left on 10/25/2011 for a stay in September 2011
As a regular visitor to Byron Shire and tired of the traffic hassles in Byron itself I decided to try Brunswick Heads. I am so glad I did. Unit 1 in the Broadview apartments looked great online and is divine in actuality.
As soon as I stepped in the door I felt at home, and what a home. This place has everything, two tvs, books, original artwork on the walls, a gorgeous bedroom decked out in super crisp, white linen with lovely finishing touches and loads of pillows on the bed. I am picky about linen and towels etc when I travel but was delighted to find all the towels etc were spotless and fluffy and lovely. I am a happy chappy :) There were even two new beach towels in a bag ready to go to the beach. The bathroom had Sanctum products for an added touch of luxury and every little thing had been thought through from the usual tea and coffee selection to the added bonus of dishwasher tablets and washing powder for the washing machine. The whole unit was spotlessly clean, not a spec of dust to be found.
There were two really nice flat screen tvs for the days when I just wanted to curl up inside and when the sun shone the whole unit was bathed in light. I know I will sound like a true Byron hippy when I say, the unit has a great 'energy' to it. I felt happy each time I stepped through the door. Love this place and will be back as soon as I can manage it. Highly recommended. -

SydneyWhat an amazing place. Apt had all mod cons. Cosy and clean.
Left on 10/21/2011 for a stay in February 2011
My partner and I visited Brunswick Heads in February 2011. We stayed in a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor in Broadview Waterfront apartments in Fawcett Street. The apartment was clean, well appointed, had a lovely kitchen, a comfy queen bed and a large ensuite bathroom.
The location of the apartment was fantastic. There is a large park opposite and it is literally 50 metres across the park to the Brunswick River. The central retail area of Brunswick Heads is a two minute walk away (adjacent to the river) with many trendy cafes restaurants and other shops. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away with views to Byron Bay. On the first Saturday of the month, there is a large market right across the road from the apartment with so many wonderful stalls and things to see.
This trip away to Brunswick Heads was one of my favourites (I have travelled extensively through the world) and we will definately be back. It was a great time for my loved one and I to reconnect, relax and enjoy the beauty that this part of the world has to offer.
