This cabin was perfect! My husband and I were looking for a getaway after his deployment to afghanistan. The cabin was beautiful outside and inside. It had everything we needed to grill out and cook. We loved the gas logs and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Great area! We went hiking, rode the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and went to Harrah's Casino. We would definitely stay here again!

It's my first cabin experience and it's better than I expected. The beautiful view, private location, and convenient access to Bryson city, NOC rafting center, and smoky mountain all make it perfect. The cabin is also very well maintained and we have all we needed for our stay. My husband is already saying we will come back next year. My 13 year old also enjoyed it very much.

This cabin was very nice and beautifully made. My boyfriend and I stayed here on vacation and really enjoyed ourselves, the cabin, and the surrounding areas (Bryson City and Nantahala). Cabin comes with great amenities that you would need or want such as fully stocked kitchen, tv with satellite, grill, firepit, hot tub, and washer and dryer. The drive to the cabin is not bad and not far from local attractions. Highly recommend rafting the Nantahala River and go on a train ride on the Great Smokey Mountain Railway. We had great service and the cabin was clean. We didn't have any complaints. Hope to come back and use Great Smokys Cabin Rentals again!

I stayed here with my fiance back in December and we fell completely in love with the cabin, I was a little home sick when we got there but I went inside it all was so beautiful, like something out of a magazine, everything was decorated to the T! It was the real deal of comfort and warm feeling of a perfect cabin get away up in the mountains. They had just about everything that was needed and the blankets and beds were wonderful to sleep in no tossing or turning. Everything was very clean I cant say I would have anything negative to say about our stay. I will be booking another stay here when we come back to North Carolina, Thank you so much for such a wonderful time we look forward to coming back soon!

The well water did not smell! The cabin was wonderfully clean and the entire stay was much more than expected! Thanks for all the amentities and prestine location of the cabin!!! By far the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in from Lake Tahoe to Hocking Hills.

The cabin was clean, was not "over decorated" by tacky stuff. Loved waking up to the trees, we slept in the loft. The kitchen was well stocked, beyond any other cabin we've stayed in and we've stayed in many. Will definetly be back. The bed was comfy too!

Cherryville, N.C.Much needed weekend Getaway!

Being a mother of four sometimes requires a weekend getaway (without the children). Black Bear Haven provided the much needed break that my husband and I were looking for. Our weekend was a perfect retreat! No schedule to keep allowed us to sit by the fire, take a hike to the waterfall, enjoy the hot tub and drive up to Fontana Dam for a bit of site seeing. My only complaint is that we did not stay long enough. We will absolutely be back!

We stayed at the cabin for three days and two nights in June 2011 on a trip to Smoky Mountain National Park, Atlana, Nashville and points in between. When we arrived at the cabin my son exclaimed "This trip keeps getting better and better!" The location is great for a visit to Smoky Mountain and Cherokee, just a short drive to the North Carolina entrance. My wife and kids were overjoyed with the cabin, great working facilities, nicely decorated, pleasant mountain surroundings. If we ever go back that way and the cabin is still being rented we would definitely check with you first.

The cabin is beautiful and looks brand new. The location is easily accessible and there are good views of the mountains from the cabin. My only problem was the dogs right outside the cabin. Though the dogs were friendly, but I am not a dog person and I definitely dont enjoy they jumping all over me.

We took our family to Bryson City to enjoy the fall colors and this cabin was the perfect place to relax. We will definitely be back and try to rent the same thing. Very clean all around, the furniture was of great quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed for the extended weekend. Very close to the downtown area too, but yet very secluded. The hot tub was the icing on the cake.
