Smith Mill is the ultimate in privacy and spectacular "top of the mountain" views. This cabin has a large open sleeping loft, fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV with premium channels, gas log fireplace and hot tub. Outside is a water wheel and small pond. Smith's Mill sleeps 2 and is perfect for couples. It's hard to top The Great Smoky Mountains National Park as the view from your front porch.

Is someone were handed a map and told to pick the community in Western North Carolina closest to all Smoky Mountain activities, they would have to choose Bryson City. The small town sits squarely in the center of the Great Smoky Mountains with its western boundary on Lake Fontana 35 miles away in one direction, and its eastern boundary of Maggie Valley an equal distance away. Traveling west, you are quickly in the Nantahala Gorge, considered one of the most beautiful places in all of the Smokies. The Nantahala is world renown as the “Whitewater Capital of Eastern America”. Cherokee Indian Reservation is just 10 miles away. Here you can try your luck at Harrah's Casino, or visit Oconaluftee, a living Indian Village. Not to be missed is the worlds most famous outdoor drama “Unto These Hills”.
The gem mines of Macon County's Cowee Valley near Franklin are a rock-hounds paradise, located 30 minutes away. The Great Smokey Mountains Railway offers trips from Bryson City to the Nanatahala Gorge. If golf is your “bag” there are two golf courses 20 minutes away. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park the most visited national park in America is just minutes away and the best part, Galbreath Creek Cabins has the park for its backyard!

We loved Smith Mill... The cabin is very nice and secluded! Took a day trip to Cherokee and then to Gatlinburg, then back in time for the live music in town at the train depot! Can't wait to get back... We have also stated in the Treehouse cabin and loved it! Can't wait to bring the whole family to Uncle Bunkys cabin and go tubing in deep creek...
