Exterior:

This well built, custom cedar cabin is perfectly situation on the "mountain top" with gorgeous long range views, seclusion, and surrounded by nothing but nature at its best. A well maintained gravel road brings you up to the large parking area outside the cabin. Well maintained and landscaped, the entry brings you up to the large open deck that extends the entire length of the cabin. Uniquely designed, with a few trees spared during construction and still growing right through the deck, provide natural shading to the group of relaxing chairs placed to take in the amazing view. Privately placed, and just outside of the master... suite is a large hot tub. A real treat to sink down into in the cool evenings to feel the warm massaging water surround you. Located on the opposite side of the cabin is a second large covered deck. Lots of seating, and a outdoor dining table fill this space. There is a gas grill for cooking wonderful meals outdoors. A third small private deck is located off the master suite. Seating provides a quite place to sit in the early mornings with a cup of coffee enjoying the sounds of happy little birds waking in the early morning sun. Located at the far end of the driveway is a fire pit area. Imagine sitting next to a crackling fire breathing in the fresh mountain air and tasting smores roasted over the hot flames. Delectable melted chocolate and sweet marshmallows on your lips. Life here is good.

Entry Level:

Greeted at the from door by the mountains, the same view awaits you on the inside. The front of the cabin is full of large windows and a cathedral ceiling bringing in the beauty through the high chalets. You enter the cabin into a beautifully decorated living room. Lots of comfortable seating surround a great stone fireplace with gas logs. This area is filled with many special touches. Cuddle up together on the soft leather sofa and enjoy your favorite movie on the satellite TV or DVD player while taking in the captivating views from outdoors. A beautiful wooden spiral staircase leads you up from this room into the open loft. Across the room in this large open space is the kitchen and dining area. A large table provides a lovely place for enjoying meals together. The large open kitchen provides ample space for everyone to help with making their favorite dishes. Fully equipped with all you need. The large breakfast bar has plenty of extra seating for entertaining. From the kitchen a large sliding glass door leads you out to the covered deck and gas grill. Inside, to the right of the kitchen a hallways leads to down to the master suite. Passing a large laundry room with washer and dryer and a closet for unpacking and settling in. A door placed here allows you to close off the suite and create a romantic retreat. The large spa inspired bath features a custom designed tile shower and a large roman style tub that temps you to run a warm bath with soft bubbles to escape into. Inside the master bedroom a king size bed waits for you to slide into and relax your body in the soft bedding. This is a very romantic space to rekindle your affection with the one you love. Mountain views surround you but the blinds can be closed to create privacy. A satellite TV is located in this suite, should you find time to watch it. The hot tub is located out from this room on one side, and a private deck on the other. This suite truly gives you something to rush back to at the end of the day, and time spent here together will create fond memories of the Mountain Top Lodge. On the opposite side of the cabin, there are 2 more bedrooms and a second large full bath with tub. The first bedroom has a four post queen size bed. Scenic mountain views can be enjoyed from bed, making waking up in the Smokies memorable. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds. Quaint cabin touches make this room very cozy.

Additional Location Information

This cabin has a MINIMUM 3 NIGHT STAY...however once you check in, you may even want to extend that. Located just minutes from Fontana Lake, Tsali Recreation Center, and NOC. Pontoon rentals are available at nearby Almond Boat Park. Whitewater rafting down the Nantahala River, jet boat rides, zip lining, mountain biking, hiking trails, fishing, and day spas. About a 15 minute drive to Bryson City and 25 minutes away from Cherokee. The drive to this cabin is very enjoyable, scenic views guide you through the Great Smoky Mountains and by Fontana Lake
