Casa Rainbow / Arco Iris is a gorgeous three story villa designed in a traditional mexican style, located just one block from the beach, on a private lot in the quiet country town of Bucerias near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

At this time we have two studios available. One on is on the first floor of the house, directly in font of the pool. The other is one the other side of the pool, featuring vaulted ceilings and a lovely garden setting.

Built on a quarter acre and surrounded by lush gardens, the pool and grounds are for use by house guests only, for your complete privacy.

Additional Location Information

The name Bucerías is pronounced “boo-sir-EE-us”, and literally means “land of the divers”. Bucerías has it’s roots as a small fishing village, but has since grown into a small-town tourist destination. A popular phrase says that Bucerias is like Puerto Vallarta was 20 years ago. The cobblestone streets, relaxed atmosphere, and lovely town square of the village bear this out. The locals are welcoming, warm, and friendly.

Located 15 minutes north of the airport, the quaint Mexican village of Bucerias is within easy reach of Puerto Vallarta, but without the hustle and bustle of its neighbor to the south.

Bucerias has a wonderful five mile stretch of sandy beaches, the longest in all of Banderas Bay. And the beach is never crowded! This beautiful beach comes alive on Sundays when locals bring their families for a day at the shore. Its long shallow shoreline is perfect for body surfing, boogie boarding, surfing and shell collecting. Or try the latest rage: kite-surfing.

There are many good shops and restaurants in Bucerias. Dozens of open air restaurants line the beach and the four main streets that run parallel to the ocean. But if you feel the need for a more active nightlife or additional shopping, it's only a short trip into Puerto Vallarta via bus, taxi, or available car rentals.

This old fashioned Mexican town has plenty of local color with its many shops and town square market. A number of small grocery stores are only a short walk away, where you can restock your supply of beer, liquor, soft drinks, ice, canned goods, tortillas, and fresh fruit and vegetables.

Nearby there are fine golf courses, tennis courts, deep sea charters for sailfish, scuba and snorkeling, whale-watching tours, horseback riding, and canopy jungle tours. Or head to the beach and simply relax, read a book, or watch the dolphins at play.

  The Casa Rainbow had everything a person needs to make their vacation a good one. I rented the whole house as I was in Mexico with co-worker and friends and makde it a work/pleasure trip. Victor was very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed and Rich was very easy to deal with. Bucerias is a great town with a more authentic local feel. I look forward to getting back to Bucerias and staying once again at the Casa Rainbow.
