Castle View Studio Apartment is in the city' best location with breathtaking views of the Royal Castle, River Danube, Gellert Hills with Citadel and Elizabeth Bridge. These are the part of the World Heritage today.
The apartment is situated in the heart of the dowtown - Apaczai Csere Janos street - at the begining of vibrant Danube promenade and within walking distance of most popular tourist attractions. Majority of the big hotels are also located in these area: Marriott, InterContinental, Sofitel, Four Season, Kempinsky. Fantastic location within walking distance of most of the attractions, shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean and airy and Heidi provides lots of local information and maps. Large living/sleeping area together with small kitchenette area with fridge. Brilliant rental.

Excellent little apartment - plenty of space despite being a studio. It was well equiped, two comfy sofas and a dinning table, as well as everything you'd need in the small kitchen if you wanted to cook, but the location is so good it'd be a sin not to eat out! Two mini markets within seconds walk for essentials

Castle View Studio is a perfect alternative to a hotel stay in Budapest without the hotel inconveniences. Private and situated in the best part of Budapest to explore the city from this studio provides a cosy home away from home feeling. It is spotlessly clean, and warm, with fantastic views and all the amenities that you need for a short (or longer) stay in Budapest. The building's communal area could do with a bit of TLC (tender loving care) but once you have entered the studio on the second floor it is near perfect. The one small criticism is the small television which lacks English language channels with only CNN to view for non-Hungarians.

We had 6 nights in this studio apartment. Hedi the owner takes the business seriously and looked after us really well, with maps, suggestions as well as everything we needed in the apartment. Our only complaint was that the apartment faces due west and we were there during a (probably rare) heatwave with no airconditioning.

The apartment is cute, clean and comfortable; toilet paper, dish soap & paper towels were provided. Great location with a very nice view of the Danube & Castle. The owner was extremely helpful & friendly provided us with a map and a few words of advice. Would recommend to a friend and return myself. Many thanks for a wonderful visit.

Our stay in the Castle View Studio in Budapest was everything we expected, from the description we read when making our reservation. The location was excellent, close to the Vaci Utca, the river and the Metro. The apartment was adequately furnished and the Landlord was very helpful on meeting us and providing useful local information on our arrival, contacting us during our stay to see if we needed anything, and prompt on the day we left. An iron and ironing board in the apartment would have been of help for us, even though we were advised a laundry was close by. This small thing did not detract in any way from our enjoyment of our stay. We found Hedi to be a delightful and considerate landlord who explained everything fully and well. No wifi available in the apartment but McDonalds,two minutes walk away had free wifi and excellent coffee and food. Eating out was easy with takeaway, side walk cafes in the Vaci Utca or established resturants along the Danube banks all within fifteen minutes walk in any direction. A small convenience store on the ground floor had drinks, bread and groceries, and fresh fruit and meat was twenty minutes walk away in the Big Market Hall. A delightful experience helped by good weather the week we were there.

My wife and I spent 5 days in the Castel View Studio from april 29Th to May 4Th 2012. This small studio isn't posh and glamorous but we found it quite convenient, clean and well equipped. The studio is well positioned across the street to the Marriott Hotel with a clear view of the Danube River and the Castel on the Buda side of the river. It is a 20 minutes' walk from most of the places of interest. There is a convenient store just around the corner where you can get all that is needed for breakfast and light meals. Just a few minutes from the Studio, there are numerous river boat trips that are accessible. We highly recommend this studio. Thank you, Hedi, for your hospitality.

Castleview studio is a beautiful home away from home. It has one of the most amazing views in Budapest from its bright and sunny balcony window- across to the Castle all lit up at night. Hedi, the host, was great and very helpful with local information and help before the visit. The apartment was perfect for two for 8 nights and is right in the heart of everything in the centre of Pest. There is a great local corner supermarket a minute away and lots of restaurants and river bars across the road. There are great shops and museums near-by. We stayed in a 4 star hotel in May this year but Castleview definately knocks the socks off any hotel. I would definately return again and cannot recommend it too highly.

The property is easy to get to and is in the best location possible in Budapest. The apartment is in an old building, on the first floor (for american travelers: above the ground floor...). The elevator is tiny and rickety but works just fine. The apartment is clean, comfortable and have everything someone would need for a few days or week(s) of stay. We had a heatwave when we arrived, and although the apartment has no built in air conditioning, we did ok with a portable cooler/fan. The owner is super nice, prompt and helpful. We will certainly use again and recommend this property.

I would definately recommend this little flat, I reallyl enjoyed my stay. Budapest is a beautiful city and I felt very happy living here for the week and a half I stayed.
I stayed in this lovely flat recently, while I was in Budapest for business. It is very good value and a perfect location for exploring the city. I love the view of the castle, especially at the end of the day when the sun is going down.
What really stood out for me was how clean the flat was and how much care the owner had taken to make sure that there was everything I needed. The towels and bedding were new and good quality. The kitchen was very well setup, including cleaning products, coffee, bottled water etc. I really felt as if the owner wanted me to have a good stay and had been thoughtful about what was required.
The other thing that really impressed me was the service. The owner took a great deal of trouble to help me with my millions of questions, including help with finding a local supermarket and using the metro to get to work. When it looked like I might not get home because of the ash cloud, she went out of her way to help me. Being away on business, it was really nice knowing that there was someone there I could turn to for help if required.
The building itself is in need of a little care, but do not be put off, the flat itself was spotless and it is in a very nice area. There was some noise from the coaches waiting to pick up from a nearby hotel, but I am a light sleeper and did not have any trouble sleeping (which is rare on business trips).
I would not recommend getting the bus to and from the airport though - very hot and long. Fork out for a cab if the weather is warm or you are short of time!

The studio is convenient to all the major sightseeing spots in Budapest - and a short 5 minute walk to the major public transit exchanges. The halls, stairs, and entry are rather dreary, but the small apartment itself is well equipped, clean, bright and for us, two seniors, everything we needed

The place is very central, you are in middle of everything. The studio is very nice and clean. You have everything you need in the studio and at the corner you have a small supermarket.
The owner of the studio is very nice and helpfull. You got all information that you need. We had a really nice weekend in Budapest. -

Ideal for couples who want convenient (if slightly noisy at times) location. Everything within walking distance and we would certainly return.
