Broadway 2 is charming, stylish home on the 2nd floor of a recently renovated historic building with windows looking to the old sycamore trees of Budapest Broadway, right in the city centre. It is only a few steps away from the Opera House, the Music Academy and the pretty Andrassy boulevard full of newly opened designer stores, cafes and top restaurants. The closest subway stops are either Opera or Oktogon on the M1/Yellow line. It's been renovated in the Spring of 2009 with fresh and charming design and comfort in mind.

Service and check-in and check-out by Dorka was excellent and smooth. The apartment is in a great location and exceptionally quiet, notwithstanding the busy street it is on.
It is very tastefully appointed, just like in the photos.
We are planning our trip back to Budapest in 2013 and I will be booking the same apartment shortly and are looking forward to our return visit. -

This apartment is well located in a very pleasant area of Budapest near the Opera, transport, shops and restaurants and is within walking distance of the very centre of Budapest. The apartment is very spacious, very well equipped and attractively furnished. Dorka and her business partner were very friendly and responsive to our enquiries. It is by far the nicest apartment we have stayed in over the many years we have been renting apartments in Europe and we hope it is available next time we visit Budapest.

Broadway 2 is just off the main artery of Budapest in a busy street but the shutters and double glazing mean that you can sit back in peace and quiet after a hard day on the tourism trail, and still be right in the action. There is an immediate feeling of calm and security as you enter via the massive doors and classic interior courtyard, then take the lift up to the apartment. We enjoyed the space, the style and comfort of this really lovely home away from home, and just wish that we owned it and could spend the time there to experience more of Budapest. Dorka was the essence of friendliness and assistance to complete the package. Do not miss the artesian spa baths, the markets, the castle, all just a tram ride away from the stop almost outside the door!

We (a party of four adults) spent the last five days of June 2012 in the Broadway apartment No. 2. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully (though simply) furnished. The building--old with an interior courtyard and odd little air shafts--was charming and quirky. Just downstairs is the "Two Saracens" restaurant, with excellent food and service. Andrassy ut is a half-block away and the Metro and shopping are very close. We were highly pleased and would recommend the apartment to anyone. The weather was very hot that week (over 90 degrees each day) and the air conditioner is fairly small, but it kept the living room and bedroom tolerable. All in all, a great find.

We stayed at HipHomes Budapest's Broadway2 apartment this fall and I cannot say enough about it. For a family of four, including 2 children under the age of 3, it was the perfect combination of luxury and practicality. We arrived in Budapest and were met by Dorka, our rental manager, who welcomed us into the apartment and gave us detailed explanations of the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment is clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and is in perfect condition. The apartment is situated right around the corner from the Budapest Opera house in what, I think, is one of the nicest parts of Budapest. And as a total bonus, the bistro restaurant on the ground floor of the building was the best we found in Budapest which made great meals easy and accessible. I can't say enough about this apartment and how it made our trip to Budapest so memorable. Thank you Dorka and HipHomes!

As a regular visitor to Budapest I know exactly how variable the quality of the accomodation can be, so to find an apartment as good as this one was a real surprise, and is one reason why I'm taking the time to write this. Great service deserves comment.
The apartment is very large - somehow much bigger than the photos show, and very light and airy. Like many places here, it has no bath but the shower was strong and always hot. Decor and bedding was first class.
The kitchen came with a few basic items - tea, coffee, rice, pasta and a few other bits and pieces, probably un-opened leftovers from previous tenants! Downstairs is a typical Hungarian "nonstop" - a 24 hour convience store, but there's also a supermarket 200m away. You won't starve. :)
Any apartment stay can easily be ruined by a single thing not working or being missing from the apartment. A week with a cold shower, a missing iron or non working lift can make a stay miserable and hardwork. This apartment had no such issues. Everything worked, and everything you could reasonably expect was present.
Check in and checkout was efficient and bang on time - Hi Dorka!
The apartment is in a great area - Dolce and Gabbana at the end of the block (perfect for essentials!) and close by to the Opera and a couple of very good restautant streets.
Downsides? None, other than the builders working in the apartment below during the day, but clearly, they won't be there forever.
Highly recomended.

Thank you for the wonderful presentation and facilities provided in the Broadway 2 apartment. We have traveled quite a bit and stayed in some very good, and not so good hotels and apartments. Broadway 2 is as good as anything we have stayed in, and better than most.
You have gone to a lot of effort to think of everything that visitors might need, and catered to them perfectly - right down to copies of maps of Budapest in the bookcase. You should be very proud of the facilities you are providing. I have already recommended Hip Homes to some other australian friends who are going to Budapest. We will be back again too. We didn't have near enough time in Budapest, so we definitely will be returning, and will be booking with Hip Homes again.

My friend and I had a lovely city break in Budapest staying at Broadway 2. The apartment was comfortable and beautifully styled. We had everything we needed. The apartment is very close to all amenities you could hope for, we walked everywhere. Budapest is a fantastic, vibrant city with lots to explore.

Apartment is wonderfully located. The welcome and service was simply outstanding. The apartment is also really clean, spacious and comfortable, with so many little touches to make it special - such as a variety books, candles, plus everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed ten wonderful nights in the beautiful Broadway 2 apartment end of last December. The interior design, the location in the heart of theatre-music-museum area and all the service - plus yummy meals in the resto downstairs) are all excellent. Happy to return any time.
