It was the right choice when we had intinctively to book this place. From the moment we stepped in we felt very welcome at home, we was greeted by very friendly host. Great place to stay if you want to be in centre of actual Budapest, everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Peter (Mr.Marton's brother) was a positively brilliant host and has given us one more reason to return to Budapest. Overall, would definitely stay and strongly recommend our friends in Malaysia to stay here.
Thanks Marton/Peter -

If you want an amazing apartment with wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings set in a historic area then this is the place for you. It was really really reasonable for such a central area and Marton could not be more accommodating as a host. His girlfriend recommended that we go to this restaurant and we did and it was super cheap, authentic and highly rated on trip advisor! Would definitely stay again!

Marton & his family are wonderful people. I am an avid traveller and Budapest has come to be one of my favorite cities. I owe a big thank you to Marton and his family for that! The apartment is very nice, cost worth, homely and central. Everything was nearby and the Marton was very helpful. Also, Paprika, a restaurant recommended by Marton was delicious! Well worth going to. All in all...a fond memory that I do and would continue to recommend to friends.

Peter's place in Budapest made our vacation even better than we thought. The apartment was in beautiful building in the historical center of the city, near to the subway and the places you ought to see. Peter and Marton were very kind and hospitable and the information in internet was absolutely correct.
If we have the chance of going to Budapest again, we would surely contact them. -

We were very pleased with Isabella's Dream. The name did not disappoint!
Its in a great location just off the beautiful andrassy Ut and a short walk to the state opera house and Lizst Ferenc Ter with its great choice of restaurants
The accommodation itself was spacious clean well equipped and most of all for the time of year we were there lovely and warm. We were courteously and helpfully treated by our host and I will be returning safe in the knowledge that we are in good and safe hands. I loved the period building the apartment is in It was built circa 1894 and has lovely features such as wrought iron balustrades, high ceilings and doors and parquet flooring also there was a lovely little grocery shop at the corner which was great for getting fresh breakfast ingredients! -

Received email contact from the owners prior to our trip asking about our approx arrival time so they could meet and show us around the apartment. Also received text from owners on day of arrival, happy to give directions. Met at apartment by owner given tour and also rang and booked taxi to take us to the airport at end of our stay as we were not confident with hungarian. Owner very helpful and left lots of tourist info with us and also contact info for himself in case of emergency. Apartment was huge and felt homely! Only 2 of us but could accommodate more, had fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and located in a lovely apartment block. Halfway between main shopping/eating areas of Budapest and Hero's square/Szechenyi thermal baths, lovely quiet area. Subway a 2minute walk away, can walk to main shopping/eating area about 15mins, great to explore on foot. Small shop on the street walking distance to plenty of other shops/restaurants. This was our final stay after interrailing perfect way to end our trip, will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

My daughter and I met in Budapest in this quiet apartment, Xmas eve 2011. The owner was very helpful and met us with the keys, walked us to the closest bank and pointed out some nice eating/drinking establishments close by. The apartment was clean, spacious and very warm which was a great feature for this cold winter trip.

We are a group of 5 people from Taiwan. We spent 4 nights in two apartments as: "Izabella's Dream" and "Astoria Residence". Both of the apartments are located at very convenient places, very clean and comfortable. The cost of stay in their apartments are is relatively low by comparing to other choices. The family members of Marton's are very friendly and helpful. Therefore we do recommend travelers consider to stay in their places during your visit to Budapest.

I stayed here with my extended family (all 7 of us!) in December 2011 and we found it comfortable and conveniently located in a quiet apt complex. We had some trouble with the lock on the door (so make sure you remember how to lock and open the door when they give you an orientation if you think this might be an issue for you), but Marton's brother, who came to greet us, graciously came back to help us. Overall, we had a great experience, and would recommend it.

Izabella's Dream is not the way it looks in web pictures. It is actually bigger! Left on 10/28/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This apartment is very cozy. Its a good size with one small bedroom and then a bed in the large living room. The kitchen is also functional with a little stove and refrigerator. The location is the best thing about it. Its amazing! Great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. You are literally only a block from the river and very near Margit Sziget Island. There is great public transportation options within walking distance that will take you to all the best sites of the city. There is a very good cafe right downstairs in the same building where we had breakfast everyday. Marton and the other owners are very helpful and give you lots of information when you arrive, including a map and restaurant suggestions. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the bathroom was a bit on the old side and could probably use some updates. But the shower worked well and there was always hot water. Overall I loved staying here and I don't think you will find a better place for this value and location any where in Budapest!

I would recommend Izabellas Dream apartment for anyone looking good value accomodation with a fairly central location in Budapest within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions.
There is a convenient supermarket next to the apartment and an underground station close by which was very useful. The apartment is supplied with most utilties eg fans, iron etc and the check in service was very helpful with good communication from the owner at all stages.

I stayed in this apartment in april, 2011 and I really liked the accomodation. First of all, the location is 50 metres from the adrassy avenue, very close to metro station. The flat is rather spacious (there were 8 of us, 4 children) and we had more than enough space. The flat is well-equipped. It is not far from the West End shopping mall, and there is a small supermarket near by. There are parking lots in front of the building, or you can park at the guarded park lots near by. The owners were very polite, they filled us in with all the information we needed and we didn't see them anymore (which is exactly what you want from landlords).

Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in July 2010
This apartment was a great option for Budapest, especially since we were with a group of friends. Martin was a great host and more than helpful. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the apartment (and we were in the middle of a heat wave), but Martin brought over some fans as soon as he could, which made a difference. Some suggestions I would make is to have the kitchen more complete (more kitchen supplies, pots, pans, basic spices), and maybe reduce the price for the optional pick up from the airport (20 EUR), as the door-to-door shuttle service is much less than this. Otherwise - it is a great choice.

Left on 08/06/2010 for a stay in June 2010
My family and I thought the place was quite roomy and was very sufficient for our needs. The facility is conveniently located for anyone wishing to see the city. Easy transportation. And a nice small market for water, and food items for breakfast just up the street. The proprietor's mother was lovely and most helpful. She made a special effort to meet us early in the morning so we could get an early start on the day. The only downside for us was the facility is on the 4th floor, and no elevator. We had 4 very large suitcases weighing over 70 pounds each. That was troublesome. And, without a doubt, we would recommend the facility with enthusiasm. The free wi-fi, and the price are compelling. Thanks so much. Bob

We enjoyed our 5-day stay at "Izabella's dream".
In our estimation "Izabella" had the best accommodations we had during our three week trip through Hungary, Vienna,Prague, Berlin and London. Everything we needed was provided. A large bathroom with a clothes washer, a complete kitchen with microwave, toaster, gas oven, refrigerator, pots and pans.
And the location was fine. A grocery market was just one-door away.
The trolley bus was 1/2 block away , the Underground Metro 2-blocks and 3-blocks to the main rail trolley and the restaurants.
We were picked up at the airport and taken dirctly to the apartment and greeted with a large mug of hot tea.
Liked best: location lot's of atmosphere, As I recall the building was constructed in 1894.
Disliked : lack of CNN on the Telly.
