As the title of my comment, Opera Corner apartment is a wonderful place in a wonderful city.
You have to walk only 10 steps and you will be on Nagymez? utca, one of the liveliest streets, where you will find bars, pubs and clubs.
It is very near to the heart of the city, you can reach everything by foot.
It's clean, it's hot and comfortable.
It cost like a B&B;, but it is better than it, because you have more privacy.
I highly recommend.

This appartment was very large- pleanty of space for way more than the 2 of us. Just off the beaten path- we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The lady who let us in was very friendly and gave lots of advice on what to do.
Make sure you check your confirmation though- ours changed the week before we arived, but because we had been back packing we didn't know that we had to meet at a different location. Other than that all good. -

We were a group of friends (3 people) staying in this apartment for a weekend in Budapest. The value for money for this place is great. The location is perfect to be downtown without any need to use for public transportation, it is extremely close to all good places for eating and going out.

I stayed here in December of 2012, and had an amazing experience! I absolutely loved it... it was in the perfect location, steps away from amazing bars and nightlife. I never once had to get in a taxi in five days, as most of the city in accessible by walking from this apartment. Charming and lovely for up to four people!

We are 4 middle-aged Canadians who stayed in Opera Corner for 3 nights. The location and accommodation were perfect. Everything was within walking distance, and we took full advantage of that to explore this wonderful city. We did not use the cooking facilities, but everything needed was in the apartment, and groceries were easily purchased. Why spend time cooking when so many cafes and restaurants are close by serving delicious food? The apartment was exactly what we needed, and we left Budapest with great memories and the hope to someday return. A special thanks goes to agnes for all her help.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The flat itself was very spacious, good kitchen and bathroom and very clean. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to cool bars and restaurants, and close to public transport. Would stay here again without question!

We visited Budapest and found this lodging through in the Nytimes comments to Budapest's travel area.
The apartment was clean, and it was within walking distance to great tourist areas. There's a very charming pedestrian-only area near the building, where you can have a drink or a meal.
Marton was very nice and accommodating and made every effort to help get us to the airport the morning of our departure. -

Budapest è una città meravigliosa. L'appartamento è situato in una zona strategica di Pest. Da qui ci si puó muovere facilmente per la città , anche a piedi, ma vicino ci sono due fermate della metropolitana per chi non vuole camminare molto. Il nostro contatto a Budapest era una signora molto disponibile che si è messa a disposizione per ogni cosa. L' unico peccato di questo appartamento è il bagno piccolo, per il resto ottimo per una vacanza.

me and my friends we really liked the house. it was in the city center, close to everything, (clubs,pubs, cafes, supermarket). it was comfortable enough, clean, it had everything and the price was really good in comparison with other hostels or apartments.i would definitely recommended to everybody who wants to visit Budapest. it is the best choice!!!

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is clean, cozy, fully furnished and equipped with free Internet service. It's close to most of the town landmarks and attractions. Many opportunities to dine and walk around just outside in the surrounding streets. Be ready to pay some fees for parking. Parking area is available only 30 meters away from the flat's entrance. In the street you may park for 2 Euro per hour. You will enjoy the stay there! No doubt about that!

I stayed in this apartment with some friends for a weekend. The price was unbelievebable and it was very well located!
Our flight was about an hour too late, but it was absolutely no problem to get the keys a bit later and the woman was very friendly and helpful. She showed us the hole apartment, which is very nice and modern, only the bathroom is a bit small, but everything clean! There are two bedrooms, one with the option of a third bed. The kitchen is also good, not for big meals, but really nice for breakfast...She also gave us some informations about Budapest and told us something about the history of the city.
The first day she asked us when would we leave the apartment and because our flight back was in the evening, we could stay in the apartment until 3pm.
It was really nice and I would recommend the apartment for everyone, espacially for families and groups till 5 persons!
The agency budapesting is also very helpful in advanced, you can book a shuttle from the airport to the apartment!

The appartment is located near center. Rooms are large and clean.

The location was great, 3 minute walk to the subay, 4 minute walk to andrassy St. Room was beautiful. I really liked the neighborhood and really enjoyed my time there!This was the cheapest and nicest place we stayed in all of Europe,lots of space and less expensive than the hostels.

I stayed in the Opera Corner apartment for 5 nights. The flat was comfortable with a good full-sized bed and a small kitchen. All my needs were met, including a shower and a washing machine. The flat is a short walk from the metro, and there are restaurants and a good food market, all an easy walk away. I recommend staying here for anyone looking for an inexpensive, simple but comfortable flat in downtown Budapest.

Very central apartment close to Opera House and andrassy. Older building but very clean and tidy. We had 2 guys and 2 girls so the owner altered the sleeping arrangements to suit the "girls" room and the "boys" room. Bit noisy in the mornings with the street sweeper but needed to get up and going anyway! The Owner was excellent in meeting us at the appartment, with a comprehensive list of where to go and what to do in Budapest and the best way to get about in the time we had.

The Opera corner has a fantastic location, love the neighbourhood with all the cafes and shops, and the apartment itself is great too. We rented one room, the other room was rented by a Polish couple, and after they left, an older american couple took their place.
Service was excellent, these apartments are run by very lovely people, helpful, friendly, and super pleasant.
One minor flaw is about the dividing wall between the two rooms--it's quite thin, you can hear everything that the other couple say/do in the other room.
Apart from that, it's a fantastic holiday rental experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

This was the perfect way to explore Budapest. The apartment is well located in terms of metro-- also a very walkable neighborhood. Several great restaurants within a few blocks walk. The owner was quite nice, met us when we checked in and took time to make a personalized map for us of sites we requested-- recommended a great "ruin pub" that we enjoyed later that evening. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Nothing too excessively fancy, but that is not what we were looking for. Thanks!

We stayed in the appartment for more than a week in july 2010, during EC Swimming. We had a great time in Budapest, the appartment has all the comfort you can need. The appartment has two large sitting/sleeprooms, a kitchen, shower, washing machine and so on and is situated in a quiet street in the center of Budapest.
For a small amount of money the owner supplies a taxi service from and to the airport. -

We loved our stay in Budapest--fantastic city with great culture--but staying in the Opera Corner apartment added to our enjoyment of the city. We felt part of the ebb and flow of Budapest, we were centrally located, and we loved the convenience of having our own apartment. And Marton provided service above and beyond--he picked us up from the bus terminal late at night, stayed to get us oriented to the city and checked in, then continued to check in with us re our stay. He promised us we would fall in love with his city, and he was right. Would recommend budapesting.com to anyone traveling to Budapest.

Four of us (two couples) rented out the Opera Corner in early July of last year. Marton from budapesting.com was wonderful and came to pick us up at the airport and took us back to the apartment. Marton also provided us with great information about the city and recommended different activities in and around Budapest. The apartment was perfect for us--nice size and amenities. It is also centrally located and in a very pretty, historic area of the city. We were able to walk everywhere easily, and there were many restaurants and bars close to the apartment. I would highly recommend Marton and his team, and plan to go back as soon as I can!

Museums, notable places in the city, 24x7 shops, sightseeing, party places.. just name it.
The location is fantastic.
I've been living there for a couple of months and it is a very comfortable place, always warm (in winter) and with all the facilities. And the best thing is that you just walk out from the main door and voila'... hearth of the city.
The flat has one huge room and a smaller one, bed is comfy and everything is included.

The location of the apartment is perfect, very close to metro lines and many restaurants/bars within walking distance.
The apartment was clean and quiet, and the owner was very helpful and friendly – she provided maps and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine.
I researched a lot of hotels in Budapest and found them pretty expensive, and think renting an apartment from Budapesting.com is the best value.

I was very pleased to find this rental. It was perfect for my needs. I am very much of a Do-it-yourself type of traveler, so for this, it was perfect.
The guys were very pleasant at check-in and gave me a great overview of the city along with maps and tourist guides.
The bed was not the most comfortable but everything else made up for it. Huge room, reliable wi-fi, great location, clean bathroom and kitchen. -

The location and cleanliness of the apartment is amazing. At the afordable price for everyone you find comfortable place just steps away from the biggest attractions. And Budapest is just amazing! But except a great apartament the owner of the property is incredible. He not only was waiting for us but gave us useful tips and maps and hints where to go and what to see. He also showed us places that you would never see with a regular tour guide. Awsome stay and I would recommend it to everyone
