This beautiful apartment in Budapest is situated next to the Hungarian Opera House, in the very heart of Budapest (Pest). The apartment is located on the first floor of this city centre period building which was originally built around the turn of the 20th century when classicism and eclecticism were the mainstream styles in architecture.

The living space compromises, a large double ensuite bedroom, separate shower and wc, large kitchen dining area and a large living room with a good quality double sofa bed if up to 4 people wish to use the apartment. The 2 sleeping areas are at either end of the apartment, and there are 2 bathrooms, wi...th the kitchen/dining area in the centre, so it is comfortable and discreet for the use of 2 rooms as bedrooms, or luxurious in space for one couple sharing

Having stayed in many city centre holiday apartments, we think its worth noting that this apartment has a very quiet and excellent sleeping area, the street the apartment is on is not a major thoroughfare for traffic or late night revellers and the beautiful double bedroom has a window onto a very quiet courtyard as well as an ensuite bathroom

The apartment is situated in the middle of the thriving theatre district right in the centre of Budapest, where Deák tér, the Basilica, and the famous Chain Bridge, designed by an Englishman in the middle of the 19th century, are all just a few minutes away.

The apartment has all the facilities one needs for a short term city break, including wireless (wifi) enabled internet. It has a fully fitted luxury kitchen with dining facilities, dishwasher and microwave oven, a luxury bathroom with bath and shower, washing facilities, TV with english news channels and sports channels, and ample spare bedding, and the lovely interior design that just simply helps you to relax.

The apartment is approximately 2 minutes walking distance from the yellow underground line's Opera station on Andrássy út. Andrássy út with its cafés is an excellent place for a morning coffee.

You can try Cantina on Hajos utca for fine and fast Italian food and wine as well as a host of other local restaurants for international and Hungarian cuisine. If you want a cultural night out, you can try the Opera next door, or Moulin Rouge on Nagymezo utca or the Music Academy on Liszt Ferenc tér again only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Liszt Ferenc tér with its bars and restaurants is also a thriving place for all ages, for a classic budapest coffee try Muvesz on Andrassy Utca

For the night owls also try out Budapest's famous outdoor kert bars in the summer, pick up a free copy of a publication like funzine to find out all the latest listings

Having the yellow metro line so close to the apartment, it takes you only 15 minutes to get to the famous Széchenyi Baths in the city park for a nice relaxing day of hot springs and steam rooms and even Thai massage. The Budapest Zoo and Theme Park are also only a few minutes away at the City Park which can give you an ideal day out. Listen to concerts at the Zoo in summer, a great place for classical and jazz music!

If you want to take a boat trip, walk down to the Danube which is also a few minutes walking distance, try the casino by the river, or just take a walk on Váci utca off Deák tér.

Also of interest we think are Budapest's numerous beautiful baths and spas many within an invigorating and interesting 20 to 30 minute walk through the beautiful and eclectic city centre streets and squares

Parking facilities can be found by the Basilica (5 minute walking distance) underground the main square. Otherwise there is a parking fee between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday

  This apartment was in the very center of Pest side. Next to andrassy, the Opera and the Basilika and with all the more exclusive stores and cafés within a couple of minutes walk, I couldn't think of a better location to stay in Budapest.
  
  The apartment itself is top-notch renovated with aC, light garden, spotlights all through, internet etc. Higly recommended!

  I've stayed with BudapestLets.com many times, usually for a week or a month at a time when I'm in town. They have many great places to choose from, and Gordon - the British expat who runs the company - is a top man.
  
  This Opera flat is right behind the Budapest Opera house, on a quaint quiet little street, just down from the central cathedral. The bedroom is nice and quite, there's a big living room, and it looks to have been just recently rennovated by an interior designer.
  
  There are great winebars, restaurants, clubs and shopping within 5 minutes walk. The metro is just a few steps away, and if you had to choose one area in Budapest to stay (and I've stayed everywhere) this would be it.
  
  The unit would sleep 4 comfortably, it's very safe (secure code entrance, secure doors) and there's even a dishwasher and laundry. Budapestlets will also arrange your travel to and from the airport for a cheap rate.
